Baby Keem’s new album is Billboard‘s top R&B/Hip-Hop album for the week of March 7. Ca$ino debuted in the #1 spot on the chart following its Feb. 22 release.

Ca$ino also debuts at #4 on the Billboard 200, marking his highest-charting album to date and his second top-10 album, following his debut, The Melodic Blue. It earned 55,000 streams — leading to its #5 spot on Top Streaming Albums — and 16,500 album sales, resulting in his best sales week yet, as well as his debut at #4 on Top Album Sales.

Ten of the 11 songs on the album have also debuted on the Hot 100: “Ca$ino,” “Good Flirts” featuring Kendrick Lamar & Momo Boyd, “House Money,” “Birds & the Bees,” “Circus Circus Free$tyle,” “$ex Appeal” featuring Too $hort, “No Security,” “Dramatic Girl” featuring Che Ecru, “Highway 95 Pt. 2” and “I Am Not a Lyricist.”

Baby Keem is set to support the album with a tour that kicks off April 15 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

He recently appeared in a campaign for the next chapter of Adidas’ Superstar shoe, in which Samuel L. Jackson starts looking for his next superstar. Kendall Jenner, NBA star James Harden and Olivia Dean are among the other stars in the spot.

Peter Gabriel has released another track off his upcoming album, o/i.

The latest, “What Lies Ahead,” has been released to coincide with Tuesday’s blood/worm moon. Gabriel notes that the unfinished instrumental track of the song was played during his 2023 tour as a “work in progress.”

“The song actually began with a melody that my son Isaac was playing with and I thought, oh, that’s really nice – I could build that into something,” says Gabriel. “It’s a song about inventors and invention.”

“My dad was an electrical engineer, inventor and I saw him go through the frustrations of not only trying to realize an idea, which has to normally go through so many iterations, but then to sell it, both to the people who’ve got the money and then to the outside world,” he adds. “So, I’ve always been curious about the creative process and how that applies to inventors.”

As he did with his last album, 2023’s i/o, Gabriel plans to release a new song from o/i with each full moon of the year. The entire album will be released by the end of 2026, along with Dark-Side and Bright-Side mixes handled by Tchad Blake and Mark “Spike” Stent, respectively.

“What Lies Ahead (Bright-Side Mix)” is available now via digital outlets.

Sharon Osbourne has confirmed that Ozzfest is “absolutely” returning.

“We’re gonna do it,” Sharon said during the 2026 MIDEM conference in France.

Sharon founded Ozzfest, named after her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, in the ’90s. It became a staple of the late ’90s and early 2000s hard rock and metal scene, helping propel the careers of bands including Linkin Park, Slipknot and Deftones.

In an interview with Billboard published in January, Sharon said she’d “been talking to Live Nation about bringing [Ozzfest] back.” Meanwhile, the Ozzfest Instagram account began teasing a return for 2027.

The last Ozzfest was held on New Year’s Eve 2018 in Los Angeles. It marked Ozzy’s final full-length live performance before the 2025 Back to the Beginning concert, during which he played a solo set with the reunited Black Sabbath. Ozzy died just over two weeks later on July 22.

Justin Timberlake sues to stop release of 2024 bodycam arrest footage

It didn’t end up ruining the tour, but Justin Timberlake is afraid that the bodycam footage of his 2024 drunk driving arrest might ruin his reputation.

Justin filed suit against the Village of Sag Harbor in Long Island, New York, as well as the village’s police department and police chief, to prevent the footage from being released. In the court filing, obtained by ABC News, Justin’s attorney asks the court to “permanently enjoin” the footage from being released in response to a request for it under the Freedom of Information Law.

According to the filing, the footage lasts around eight hours and “encroaches upon areas of [Timberlake’s] life and emotional state that have no relevance at all to [his] arrest.”

Furthermore, the filing argues that releasing the footage would “constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy because it reveals intimate, highly personal, and sensitive details concerning [Timberlake] and his family, and includes information of medical, familial, otherwise confidential nature.”

“The harm from public exposure … is immediate and irreparable,” the filing adds.

The filing goes on to say that the footage depicts Justin “in an acutely vulnerable state” during his traffic stop, sobriety test, arrest and confinement.

“Public dissemination of this footage would cause severe and irreparable harm to [Timberlake’s] personal and professional reputation, subject [him] to public ridicule and harassment, and serve no legitimate public interest in understanding the operations of government,” it goes on to say.

Justin was stopped June 18, 2024 in Sag Harbor after running a stop sign and subsequently “performed poorly” on field sobriety tests. He pled guilty to driving while ability impaired by alcohol and was sentenced to 25 hours of community service and fined $500.

Sag Harbor mayor Thomas Gardella told Newsday that the village will wait on the court’s ruling.

Billy Joel is the subject of this year’s Music Of concert put on by New York entrepreneur Michael Dorf.

This is Dorf’s 21st Music Of charity concert, and he tells Rolling Stone it was the rocker’s documentary, Billy Joel: And So It Goes, that finally pushed him to make the Piano Man this year’s honoree.

“I think there’s a lot of love for Billy, and a desire to hear his music,” Dorf says.

This year’s show will be held March 12 at New York’s Carnegie Hall. The lineup includes Joel’s daughter Alexa Ray Joel, Matchbox Twenty’s Rob Thomas, Train’s Pat Monahan and others, with Joel’s eight-piece touring band serving as the house band.

“The fact that it is his band, that’s exciting for people,” Dorf says. “We sold out without a single artist mentioned who’s performing, and we got a great lineup, as people trusted. Fingers crossed, let’s see if we have any special guests.”

Of course fans would love for one of those special guests to be Joel, who canceled his 2025 tour in May after being diagnosed with a brain condition. The only time he’s performed since then was a surprise appearance with a Billy Joel cover band in Wellington, Florida, in January.

Dorf will only say that like all previous honorees, Joel has been invited to the concert.

“There’s a box for the band, and if we’re lucky and they want to jump on stage, great,” he tells the mag. “But it’s really for them as much as it is anybody.”

Money raised from the concert benefits music education programs. Previous concerts celebrated the music of Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., Paul McCartney, Van Morrison and The Who.

Master! Master! Metallica’s ‘Master of Puppets’ turns 40

It may seem like time itself is crawling faster now that Metallica’s Master of Puppets is officially 40 years old.

The metal legends’ third studio effort was first released on March 3, 1986. The album continued to push the boundaries of thrash on its way to becoming one of the most seminal and influential albums in heavy metal music history, as evidenced by its octuple-Platinum RIAA certification and its induction into the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry in 2015.

Master of Puppets is centered around its epic 8 1/2-minute title track. Frontman James Hetfield’s meditation of drug addiction is intensified by fiery down-picking and dueling guitar solos.

Today, the song “Master of Puppets” is Metallica’s most-played song live, and its legacy continues to live on in new ways. In 2022, “Master of Puppets” made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 after its use in the season 4 finale of Stranger Things. Metallica’s also named their upcoming Life Burns Faster residency at the high-tech Sphere venue in Las Vegas after a lyric from “Master of Puppets.”

Along with the title track, Master of Puppets includes the ripping opener, “Battery,” and the instrumental “Orion,” which was written primarily by bassist Cliff Burton. “Orion” would turn out to be something of a swan song for the 24-year-old Burton, who was killed in a bus accident during Metallica’s tour in support of Master of Puppets in September 1986.

Burton was replaced by Jason Newsted, who was then replaced by current Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo.

Mumford & Sons’ new album, Prizefighter, has debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200.

The record lands at #10 with a total of 44,000 equivalent album units. It marks the “Little Lion Man” outfit’s sixth top-10 record on the Billboard 200.

As previously reported, Prizefighter debuted at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart, giving them two-straight #1 albums in their home country in less than a year, following 2025’s Rushmere.

Mumford & Sons have hit #1 on the Billboard 200 three times, with 2012’s Babel, 2015’s Wilder Mind and 2018’s Delta.

Mumford & Sons performed two songs off Prizefighter over the weekend on Saturday Night Live, including the single “Rubber Band Man” with Hozier. They’ll launch a North American tour in June.
