As if there weren’t enough Taylor Swift songs around right now, Dan + Shay, the duo best known for their hits “Speechless,” “Tequila” and “10,000 Hours,” have rush-released a cover of one of her tunes due to fan demand.

The duo posted a clip of themselves singing an impromptu version of Taylor’s “Back to December” from her 2010 album, Speak Now. So many fans asked for the full version that they headed right into the studio to record it and released it just days later. It’s available now on streaming services.

“What started as an impromptu soundcheck cover of one of our favorite @taylorswift songs turned into the quickest recording-to-release turnaround in our almost 13 year career,” the duo wrote on Instagram. “Huge thanks to our fans who encouraged us to get in the studio and make a full version, and to everyone on our team who worked like crazy to help us make it happen. We’re proud of the way it turned out, and hope you love it as much as we do.”

The group then wrote on Instagram Monday, “Back To December + fall weather go together like 2026 + @danandshay world tour,” teasing an upcoming return to the road.

Dan + Shay recently announced that they’d be putting out a new Christmas song this holiday season. They’d previously scored with the original holiday tracks “Pick Out a Christmas Tree,” “Officially Christmas” and “Holiday Party.” Last year they released It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album.

Morgan Wallen lands the 20th #1 of his career as “I Got Better” takes its place at the top of the Mediabase country airplay chart.

It’s the superstar’s fifth #1 from his I’m the Problem album, which came out in May and has spent a dozen weeks atop Billboard‘s all-genre album ranking.

Meanwhile, Morgan’s busy cueing up what may be his 21st #1, releasing the music video for his new radio single, “20 Cigarettes.”

The dark, smoky clip was directed by Justin Clough, who also helmed the recently released “I Got Better” video.

The “20 Cigarettes” treatment traces the nicotine-fueled romance in the song, with Morgan teasing it on socials as “One hell of a pack.”

He also posted a still of himself from the video, adding, “What I do when I’m trying to decide if ima tour in ‘26 or not,” perhaps indicating an announcement could come soon.

Meanwhile, Sombr’s “back to friends” has also reached that milestone. He wrote on his Instagram Story, “I cannot believe back to friends hit 1 billion streams on Spotify: self written and produced. you can do anything you set your mind to. i love you so much, i’m so grateful for you and i’ll dedicate my life to creating and playing music for you.”

He added on TikTok that he’d written the song “at my lowest.” Sombr’s headlining tour in support of his album I Barely Know Her continues Tuesday night in Salt Lake City.

Meanwhile, Sabrina resumes her Short n’ Sweet tour Oct. 23 in Pittsburgh. She’s also dubbed her Oct. 31 show at New York’s Madison Square Garden “Short n’ Spooky,” encouraging fans to come in Halloween costumes. Last year she had her Halloween-themed show in Dallas on Oct. 30, and dressed up as Sandy from Grease, a Playboy Bunny and Tinker Bell.

Is Bon Jovi getting ready to announce a tour? Well, that’s what some of their fans think, based on a tease they posted on Instagram.

The New Jersey rockers posted a photo of them taking a bow in front of a large concert audience, with the caption, “Tomorrow we’ve got something special for you (eyes emoji) Any guesses?”

That led to fans in the comments speculating that a tour announcement is coming.

“Bon Jovi 2026 Tour,” one person commented, while another added, “World Tour pleasssse.”

If Bon Jovi does announce a tour, it will be their first tour since 2022. Following that tour, frontman Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal cord surgery and they haven’t toured since. His recovery was detailed in the band’s 2024 Hulu documentary, Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story.

The tease comes as Bon Jovi is getting ready to release Forever (Legendary Edition) on Friday. The album has the band teaming with a whole host of artists to reimagine songs from their 2024 album, Forever.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will appeal conviction and prison sentence

Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ lawyers intend to appeal his conviction and more than four-year prison sentence, according to a notice filed Monday in the Federal District Court of New York.

Combs was convicted of two counts of prostitution-related charges after an eight-week trial in July. The jury acquitted Combs of the sex trafficking and racketeering charges he faced.

The filing on Monday does not explain the grounds on which Combs will base his appeal, but his attorneys have previously argued the conviction should not stand because the statute, transportation for the purposes of prostitution, does not apply.

The music mogul’s attorney Alexandra Shapiro filed the notice of appeal.

After a two-month trial earlier this year, Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison for offenses related to prostitution, but he gets credit for the year he has already served in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

At the sentencing, Combs tearfully apologized in court, saying, “I’ve been humbled and broken to my core,” at the conclusion of the two-month trial that featured testimony from 34 prosecution witnesses.

Federal prosecutors had argued that he deserved 11 years minimum in prison, while his defense attorneys asked for a sentence of 14 months.

“In my life, I have made many mistakes, but I am no longer running from them,” Combs wrote in a letter to the judge overseeing his case before the sentencing. “I am so sorry for the hurt that I caused, but I understand that the mere words ‘I’m sorry’ will never be good enough as these words alone cannot erase the pain from the past.”

In July, Combs was acquitted by the jury of the most serious charges he faced, racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, and he celebrated the split verdict by mouthing thank you to each juror and turning to his family to say, “I’m coming home, baby! I’m coming home!”

Combs remains incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Jonas Brothers grace the new digital cover of Esquire, and they also sat down for an installment of the publication’s What I’ve Learned video series. In the chat, the brothers share how they “rallied for” each other in times of trouble.

After Kevin Jonas described his reaction to finding out that brother Nick Jonas had Type-1 diabetes, the interviewer asked whether Nick and Kevin had ever “come together” for Joe Jonas. Joe answered, “My divorce. These guys and many others being by my side through probably the most difficult time in my adult life thus far, navigating it while we’re traveling and touring.”

“Divorce is tough,” he continued. “It’s not easy for anybody, and I think people are so quick to make assumptions. And I’m so grateful that I have these guys, and I have amazing family and friends.”

“These guys had my back,” he adds, laughing, “whether I wanted to talk about it or they knew I did not want to talk about it that day, they showed up for me in a major way.”

Joe says he’s now “able to have a relationship with my co-parent, Sophie [Turner].”

Joe and Sophie married in 2019; Joe filed for divorce in September 2023. Things got messy over custody and visitation rights with the couple’s two daughters, but they managed to come to an agreement in October of that year. Their divorce was finalized in September 2024.

Foo Fighters on tour? Toronto venue teases possible announcement

Is there a Foo Fighters tour announcement coming?

It seems likely following an Instagram post from Live Nation Ontario, which posted a photo of the Foos logo outside Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

The photo also includes the date Oct. 23, so be sure to stay tuned Thursday.

Foo Fighters made their live return in September following a tumultuous year, which included the Dave Grohl infidelity scandal and the firing of drummer Josh Freese. The shows included a brief run of U.S. pop-up dates and a tour of Asia, which marked their first performances with new drummer Ilan Rubin, formerly on Nine Inch Nails.

Coming up, the Foos will play a pair of shows in Mexico in November. The band also recently posted a teaser possibly hinting at new music to follow the July single “Today’s Song.”
