The group is set to perform in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in March. Jennifer Hudson and Common were born and raised in Chicago, and J-Hud says that’s “a huge part of” why their relationship continues to work. “We’re just similar souls and spirits. He’s such a beautiful person, and I just respect him for just who he is, how he is,” she told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi. “He’s a blessing. A light. That man is a light.”

TikTok has gotten Kid Cudi‘s “Maui Wowie” onto the Billboard Hot 100. After its resurgence on the social media app, the song has now entered the chart at #71. It originally came out in 2008 as part of his album A Kid Named Kid Cudi.

Gunna will be headlining Rolling Loud Australia as it makes its return for the first time since 2019. He will be performing on both nights of the two-day event, taking place in March in Sydney and Melbourne. The remaining lineup will be announced at a later date. Presale tickets become available Thursday at 8 a.m. ET.

Stone Temple Pilots are performing at Warren Haynes‘ 2025 Christmas Jam benefit concert, held Dec. 13 in the Gov’t Mule frontman’s hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.

The 33rd edition of the annual event will raise money for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and BeLoved Asheville in support of continued relief efforts in response to the devastation caused by 2024’s Hurricane Helene.

“Every Christmas Jam is special, but this coming one, the first since Hurricane Helene devastated Asheville and the surrounding areas, has an added significance and importance,” Haynes says. “We will not only continue to raise money for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and BeLoved Asheville, but with the help of all the attendees, we’ll also be supporting the local tourism and hospitality industry and small businesses who still need help.”

Haynes adds, “We’re working on a few surprises to make this year’s Jam one to remember. I’m really looking forward to getting back home to Asheville!”

Tickets will first be available in-person at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena starting Thursday at 10 a.m. ET. An online presale will begin Friday at 10 a.m. ET, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. ET.

Katy Perry seems to have a sense of humor about her alleged romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. After photos of Katy and Justin kissing on a yacht became public, the Instagram account of the satirical news site The Onion published a headline reading, “Katy Perry releases new single about the superiority of Canadian manufacturing.” Katy was among the 22,000 people who liked the post.

Deadline reports that Camila Cabello has joined the cast of Cut Off, an upcoming comedy directed by and starring Jonah Hill. Hill and Kristen Wiig will play a rich brother and sister whose parents, played by Nathan Lane and Bette Midler, cut them off. The film is due out next July; it’s not clear which role Camila will play.

Lewis Capaldi switched things up by covering a Paramore song for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, turning their upbeat 2013 hit “Still into You” into a mournful, acoustic cover with a keyboard, horns and strings. One listener quipped in the comments, “Great, now I can listen to Paramore when I am sad.”

Move over, HUNTR/XBLACKPINK is the first all-female K-pop group to have all its members chart a solo hit on the Hot 100, now that JISOO‘s duet with ZAYN, “Eyes Closed,” has entered the Hot 100 at #72. She joins ROSÉ, LISA and JENNIE, all of whom previously scored one or more solo hits earlier this year.

Madison Beer tapped a cast member from The Summer I Turned Pretty as the costar in her new video for “Bittersweet.” Sean Kaufman, who plays Belly’s brother Steven Conklin in the hit show, is Madison’s former love interest in the new clip.

Phil Collins may have retired from touring, but his music is going on the road next year.

The Phil Collins Story, described as a “docu-concert” and an “immersive musical journey,” will visit 50 North American cities in 2026, starting Feb. 11 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The production features live musicians and state-of-the-art audio, projections and lighting. It will cover Phil’s entire career, from his time with Genesis through his solo career and his work with Disney on projects like Tarzan.

The project is written and staged by Dean Elliott, who created a similar production, The Simon & Garfunkel Story, which is currently touring the world. Dean says in a statement, “It is truly an honor to collaborate on a project celebrating the music of Phil Collins. His work continues to inspire global audiences, and we’re excited to bring that energy to the stage.”

Collins, whose final show with Genesis was in 2022, has dealt with a variety of health issues that prevent him from playing the drums. He was hospitalized last summer for knee surgery and was not able to join his bandmates in September for press appearances for the new 50th anniversary reissue of the Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, also due to health issues.

After teaming with Cardi B on songs “Ring” and “Safe,” Kehlani opened up about their friendship in a Billboard Family interview conducted by her daughter, Adeya Nomi Parrish Young-White.

“She’s really herself and she knows how to be herself all the time. And she’s not afraid of what the world is going to say about her being herself,” Kehlani said of Cardi. “And she just makes you want to root for her because she’s really loving and she doesn’t care what anybody thinks, and I think we could all use a little bit of that.”

Kehlani also spoke to Adeya about her song “Folded,” which she says she created while on a work trip in Miami.

As for why she decided to release it, she says, “I just really thought it was a really cool way to come back into music after I hadn’t put out music for a while, and I was pretty confident about it. I thought it was a good song.”

Kehlani added the follow-up “Folded” TikTok challenge “just happened naturally” and shared her reaction to seeing Brandy sing a cover of the song.

“It was really crazy. She’s my favorite,” Kehlani told Adeya for Billboard. “She’ll be your favorite, too, one day.”

She also revealed she has a new album coming out in 2026.
