Joe Walsh’s ninth annual VetsAid concert is coming to his hometown of Wichita, Kansas, this year, and he’s giving fans who can’t make it to the event a chance to enjoy it at home.

It was just announced that the concert, taking place Nov. 15 at INTRUST Bank Arena, will be available to stream live at Veeps.com.

This year’s VetsAid will feature full sets from Eagles touring member Vince Gill; Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen; and a “super-set” from Walsh, joined by Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nathaniel Rateliff and other special guests.

“It’s been a long-term goal of mine since we began VetsAid nearly ten years ago to bring it all home to my native Wichita to serve Kansan veterans and their families,” Walsh says in a statement posted to his website in August. “It’s where my parents were both born and are buried, where I was born and where I will always feel a deep connection and sense of heritage and responsibility. … Wichita is the place to be this November 15th!”

Proceeds from the concert will go directly to veterans services charities. This year’s grant recipients include Wichita Police and Fire Foundation; Rosie’s Snuggle Bunnies Pet Therapy, Horses & Heroes, Inc; and the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, Hire Heroes USA.

Kid Cudi reacted Tuesday to the debut of his 2008 song “Maui Wowie” on the Billboard Hot 100. “This is MEGA!!! Debuting #71 on the @billboard charts 17 years later,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “This is a true example of timeless music. To all the fans who made this happen, I LOVE YOU!! Lets keep it going yall!!!”

Ice Cube has taken issue with a critic of his new song featuring Scarface, “Act My Age.” An X user shared his reaction to the music video, writing, “This is a prime example of why as a rapper you just gotta know when it’s time to hang the mic up.” Cube responded, “I would never listen to you and hang up my mic. You’ve obviously lost your sense of humor. You need to go find it and stay out of my business.”

Chlöe is getting ready for Halloween. On Tuesday she paid homage to mentor Beyoncé’s Austin Powers in Goldmember character, Foxxy Cleopatra, posting a photo of her costume alongside the caption, “I’m Foxy Cleopatra and I’m a whole lotta woman!!!”

An old Megan Thee Stallion has tweet resurfaced, capturing her desire to marry an athlete of some sort. “I’m marrying an athelete [sic] for sure…maybe a football player..but most likely a basketball player,” she wrote back in 2011. She’s currently dating NBA star Klay Thompson; time will whether the marriage part will come true.

A Drake fan asked him to help come up with their senior quote and got more than he bargained for. As seen in  screenshots shared to his Instagram Story, Seth Hinkle DM’d Drizzy and wrote, “hook me up [with] a senior quote [please].” Drake responded with a verse and a follow-up message: “Might be too long but ur goated if they let you bar up.”

Foo Fighters have announced the release of a new single called “Asking for a Friend.”

The track is set to premiere Thursday at 10 a.m. ET. You can presave it now and check out a clip via the Foos’ Instagram.

Dave Grohl and company previously teased “Asking for a Friend” in a post featuring a parrot perched in front of the Foos logo alongside the caption, “About to take flight…”

“Asking for a Friend” will mark the second new, original Foo Fighters track of 2025, following “Today’s Song.” The band’s most recent album is 2023’s But Here We Are.

In addition to new music, it seems that a Foo Fighters tour announcement might be in the works, judging by recent teasers from venues in Toronto and Detroit.

Foo Fighters made their live return in September following a tumultuous year, which included the Grohl infidelity scandal and the firing of drummer Josh Freese. The shows included a brief run of U.S. pop-up dates and a tour of Asia, which marked their first performances with new drummer Ilan Rubin, formerly of Nine Inch Nails.

Coming up, the Foos will play a pair of shows in Mexico in November.

Mattel introduces second Stevie Nicks Barbie

Stevie Nicks‘ first Barbie doll was so popular that Mattel is back with another one.

The original Stevie Barbie, inspired by her Fleetwood Mac-era Rumours look, was released in 2023 and quickly sold out. Mattel has now released a second doll, inspired by her 1981 solo debut, Bella Donna.

In an interview with People, Stevie says she was “pretty adamant” that her new Barbie would be inspired by her solo career.

“It’s almost like you almost kind of had to do that,” Stevie tells the mag. “I mean, of course, they didn’t have to do that for me, but I explained, ‘It’s like they go hand in hand, and then they blend in and out of each other for the rest of my life.’”

While Rumors-era Barbie was dressed all in black, Bella Donna Barbie, as Stevie calls her, dons a flowing white dress with white boots and a top hat.

Stevie says her Barbies are “a story of my whole musical life,” noting, “If I have a legacy, if I have ‘What do I leave behind that is sacred?’ I think that it’d be Barbie. Rumours and Bella Donna Barbie are a huge part of what I leave behind when I go on to the next planet.”

She adds, “I’d like to have every outfit that I’ve ever had made into a Barbie doll,” but says “these are the two best ones.”

Stevie says she brings her Barbies everywhere, even to the studio, explaining that she believes they’re “alive.” She also plans to publish a photo book of the dolls.

“I know it sounds like I’m a fanatic,” she says. “I’ve turned into a crazy lady, but I don’t care because it’s brought so much joy to me.”

Lainey Wilson spends plenty of time on the bus and in the air thanks to her exhaustive tour schedule.

And without all the miles she logs traveling, she says we might not have her latest top-10 hit, “Somewhere Over Laredo.”

“I spend a lot of my time 30,000 feet in the air flying to the next show, and even though I’m not on the ground, I used that time to be still,” she says. “[I] catch myself looking out the window, talking to God, dreaming, and even reminiscing. ‘Somewhere Over Laredo’ tells a story that speaks to that.”

You’ll find the track on the deluxe edition of her Whirlwind album, which came out in August.

Lainey’s 2025 life on the road won’t wrap up until Dec. 7, when she plays T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The animal rights organization PETA is asking Robert Plant to change his name, at least temporarily.

The organization has sent a letter to the Led Zeppelin rocker asking him to change his name to Robert Plant Wool, to help promote Plant Wool Month, which aims to raise awareness of animal-free and plastic-free yarns.

“With Plant Wool Month—celebrating natural, plant-derived, and animal-free yarns—starting 1 November, we wanted to share a quirky idea that would help both the planet and the animals we share it with: Will you change your name to ‘Robert Plant Wool’ for the month?” the letter reads. “This temporary tweak to your famous moniker would help highlight the impressive array of cruelty-free, sustainable plant wools and the innovative designers using them.”

“It would also let those stocking their winter wardrobes know that there are dozens of 100% animal- and plastic-free fibers to keep them cozy, without harming a hair on a sheep’s head,” it continues.

The letter also makes reference to an iconic Led Zeppelin tune, noting, “While your song ‘Kashmir’ is rightly celebrated as a masterpiece, cashmere is a different story,” explaining that it comes from goats “who scream in pain as their fleece is ripped from their bodies.”

The org explains that it hopes the name change will help highlight plant wools like cotton, linen, hemp and others. “These wools are all soft and warm, and best of all, they are a simple but effective way to make a difference for animals every time we get dressed in the morning.”

So far there’s no word on whether Plant is open to the temporary name change.

Jonas Brothers already have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but now they’ll be leaving behind more than just their names on Hollywood Boulevard.

The brothers will commemorate their 20th anniversary on Dec. 3 with a handprint and footprint ceremony outside the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre. Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas will all put their hands and feet in cement in front of the theater, where stars have been leaving their mark since 1927.

By Dec. 3 the JoBros will be heading into the home stretch of their Greetings From Your Hometown tour, which is set to wrap Dec. 22 in Brooklyn, New York. The ceremony will come a few weeks after the premiere of A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, which begins streaming on Disney+ Nov. 14.

Shinedown is going from the stage to the basketball court.

The “Second Chance” outfit will be performing during halftime of the upcoming Memphis Grizzlies NBA game against the visiting New Orleans Pelicans. The contest, which will mark the Grizzlies’ home opener, tips off at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

“Get ready for an iconic halftime performance from @shinedown during @memgrizz home opener,” the team’s arena, FedExForum, writes in an Instagram post.

The set should be extra special for guitarist Zach Myers, who’s originally from Memphis.

Shinedown spent most of the year playing arenas across the U.S. on their Dance, Kid, Dance tour. The trek took its name from one of the three songs Shinedown’s released so far in 2025. The other two are titled “Three Six Five” and “Killing Fields.”

Black Thought says it took over a year for The Roots to grasp Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Late Night’ offer

When Jimmy Fallon asked The Roots to be the band on his late-night talk show, the group initially thought it was BS. Speaking to Redman as part of Rolling Stone‘s Musicians on Musicians issue, Black Thought said they only started taking Fallon seriously after multiple requests.

“Man, the way we got the gig, Jimmy was always a huge music nerd. He’s a huge, huge Beastie Boys fan. That’s the first band that took The Roots on tour. We learned the ropes from them. When everything changed in ’07, ’08, [after] Napster hit and the way people were receiving their music changed, Jimmy came around and said, ‘I’m thinking about doing the Late Night show, and I need a band. Would you guys be interested in doing it?'” Black Thought recalled in his version of the Fallon gig story.

“We thought it was bulls*** until he kept coming around,” he added.

“We would show up at a gig, and he’d be in our dressing room, like, ‘Hey, hey, what’s up? I was serious about what we talked about,'” Black Thought continued, noting Jimmy “was dedicated” and had shown “up a bunch of times pitching it.”

“This was around the time that we had just got done working on Dave Chappelle’s show. It was so much uncertainty at that time that it sounded good to have a day job,” he said. “But we didn’t want it to mean the end of The Roots.”

The Roots have been Fallon’s house band since 2009 and have continued making music, releasing albums including How I Got Over in 2010, Undun in 2011 and …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin in 2014.

During the chat, Black Thought said his group is nearly done making the follow-up to their 2014 album.
