Parker McCollum‘s 2025 tour is in the books, but before he went off to enjoy some well-earned R&R, he took to Instagram to thank his fans for showing up for him.

“Fastest year of my life. First year on the road as a dad. Released my 5th studio album. Played arenas across the country,” Parker wrote. “Had some nights I wasn’t my best. Had a bunch of nights that I’m not sure my feet ever touched the floor. (Floaters as I call them. When everything is just clicking from start to finish). If you’re still reading this, thank you.”

He went to share his gratitude to fans for “showing up and singing these songs back to us,” “buying merch, waiting in line, making signs, bringing me Zyns, writing me letters, waving back to me from the crowd.”

“Every single night I got to do what I love to do with the people I love to do it with,” he concluded. “This year was nothing short of magical and none of it is possible without all of you.”

So what’s Parker going to do now? “I’m headed to the ranch to enjoy this deer season to the fullest extent,” he reveals. “I’ll see you all in 2026! Mad love!”

Ahead of the release of Taylor Swift‘s The Life of a Showgirl, Elizabeth Taylor‘s son Christopher Wilding told TMZ that he was completely OK with Taylor name-checking his mom in her song title, and hoped it would encourage people to learn more about the late actress and philanthropist. Now that the song, called “Elizabeth Taylor,” is out, Wilding is even more pleased that Taylor chose to recognize his mom musically.

Speaking to People, Wilding says he listened to the song the day Showgirl was released, and appreciated its lyrical references to the actress’s famed “violet eyes” and to White Diamonds, her signature perfume, calling them “especially magical.”

“She and my mom do seem like kindred spirits. They are both the very embodiment of female empowerment,”  he adds. “The way [Swift] has deftly captured the similarities and parallel tracks in their careers and personal lives is delightful.”

Wilding says his mother, who was married seven times, was rebellious but “was never cowed by the establishment whenever it criticized or condemned her lifestyle, which was often.” He adds, “She was curious, open-minded and lived life on her own terms until the day she died.”

“Even as I believe my mother was for hers, Taylor Swift is an inspirational role model for her generation,” Wilding concludes. “Her advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights as well as her philanthropic work would have garnered her great admiration from my mother, had they had a chance to get to know one another.”

Elizabeth died in 2011 at age 79. Her estate’s merchandise line, House of Taylor, is currently selling Showgirl-coded items.

The KISS catalog saw a streaming boost following the Oct. 16 death of the band’s founding guitarist, Ace Frehley, at the age of 74.

Billboard reports that, compared to the three days prior to Ace’s death, the three days after his passing saw 4,500 digital songs sold, an increase of 1,664%. The catalog also saw a 187% increase in on-demand streams.

As for the song that got the biggest bump, that was actually Frehley’s 1978 solo recording of “New York Groove,” which was a #13 hit for the rocker. It sold over 700 copies, a 4,217% increase, and had 318,000 streams, a 530% increase.

And fans were apparently looking to listen to more of Frehley’s solo work in the three days following his death, as his solo catalog saw a 2,940% streaming boost and a 5,140% sales boost.

Frehley’s death came just weeks after he canceled the remainder of his 2025 tour dates “due to some ongoing medical issues.” In a statement, his KISS bandmates Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley said they were “devastated” by Ace’s death, while drummer Peter Criss said that his heart was “broken” by the news.

50 Cent has cemented himself in Hollywood, and now he feels an obligation to help other established musicians do the same.

“I absolutely feel a responsibility to the culture to bring artists in that already have huge followings and have already developed themselves,” he says in an interview with XXL“Like, Cam[‘ron] for Paid in Full, it wouldn’t be right without Cam. That’s Harlem. When I work with Wiz [Khalifa] and Skilla Baby, these guys have been in acting classes and preparing themselves for another layer of their careers. Away from that, I’m obviously going to become a gateway for things to be created that couldn’t get made in the past.”

Several of 50’s shows have included established musicians in the cast. Among those are Kendrick Lamar in Power, Method Man in Power Book II: Ghost, Joey Bada$$ in Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Yung Miami and Kash Doll in BMF.

With “40 shows across 12 different networks,” 50 notes fans can expect even more from him on the 50 Cent Action Fast channel.

“Eventually I can launch originals … and that would change the landscape of things,” he says.

He also reveals he’ll be making the theme song for the U.K.-based television show Fightland, which will feature guests Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow.

“They’re currently incarcerated, but you get a chance to hear the music that I got them to do right before they went in,” 50 says.
