Green Day has premiered the video for “Suzie Chapstick,” a track off the band’s latest album, 2024’s Saviors.

The clip features footage from the punk outfit’s Saviors world tour, which not only supported the record it took its name from, but also celebrated the respective 20th and 30th anniversaries of Green Day’s albums American Idiot and Dookie.

“Soooo it’s pretty hard to believe it’s been two years since we kicked off the Saviors run. What a trip!!!” Green Day says. “The ‘Suzie Chapstick’ vid is a look back at alllllll the chaos (and everything in between).”

You can watch the “Suzie Chapstick” video on YouTube.

While the Saviors tour is now over, you can catch Green Day on the big screen in their upcoming movie New Years Rev, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

From the world of drug dealing to a faith-based film, Joey Bada$$ is making his way in the world of Hollywood. The rapper, born Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, previously played a drug dealer on Power Book III: Raising Kanan and has secured a starring role in the upcoming Netflix film ‘Tis So Sweet.

Joey will play opposite Taraji P. Henson in the film, about “a Chicago bakery owner who is stunned by a miraculous discovery that challenges her to reclaim lost time, heal old wounds, and find purpose in the unexpected,” according to Deadline. The film is based on the story of Chicago baker Lenore Lindsey, who went on a search to find the son she put up for adoption and discovered he was a regular at her bakery.

‘Tis So Sweet will mark the second film under the faith-based partnership between Devon Franklin, Tyler Perry and Netflix. The first was the film Ruth & Boaz, which starred Tyler Lepley and Serayah, Joey’s fiancée and the mother of his son.

The music of the Grateful Dead is featured in an upcoming movie from pro skier and artist Chris Benchetler.

Mountains of the Moon, which opens in select theaters Nov. 14, is described as a film that “explores the unseen connections between sport, life, music, and the living earth—set to the timeless tunes of the Grateful Dead.”

The film was shot entirely at night and contains footage of oceans, mountains, rivers and more. It features athletes, adventurers and others “navigating through the natural world.”

Mountains of the Moon is an artistic journey where light became my paintbrush and the Earth our canvas,” Benchetler says. “By breaking free of the sun’s constraints, we were able to sculpt emotion, energy, and movement, juxtaposed into the landscape — layering sport, art, music, and nature to create something that speaks beyond words and more into feeling.”

Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart appears in the film, drumming on top of a snow sculpture on Mammoth Mountain in California.

“The music of the Grateful Dead has always been about exploration – of sound, spirit, and the unknown,” says Hart. “Mountains of the Moon taps into that same energy, pushing creative boundaries to illuminate the deep connection between art, nature, and human expression. It was an honor to contribute to this visionary project and help bring its rhythm to life.”

Benchetler’s Mountains on the Moon project also includes a book of photographs and paintings, as well as a gallery installation that opens in Los Angeles on Nov. 15. More info can be found at chrisbenchetler.com.

Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Smith and Chappell Roan will help announce the nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards on Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. ET. They’re among the many artists who’ll be announcing nominees across 95 Grammy categories in a livestream on the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel, along with Brandi Carlile, Doechii, Lizzo, Nicole Scherzinger, Karol G, Jon Batiste and Mumford and Sons.

Myles Smith performed his hit “Nice to Meet You” on the Love Is Blind season 9 reunion show Wednesday night. You can watch the performance on YouTube if you missed it.

Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes helped Bruno Mars get his start as an artist by teaming up with him on the hit 2010 song “Billionaire,” but Travie tells People that he and Bruno haven’t kept in touch. He claims, “He doesn’t return my calls.” Travie also says when Bruno and his writing partners first played him the song, Travie didn’t like the lyric “I want to be on the cover of Forbes Magazine/ standing next to Diddy and the Queen.” Travie recalls, “I was like, ‘Bruno, I don’t want to say Diddy’s name every night.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, cool, easy fix.’ So he changes it to Oprah. And I’m so glad I made him change that s***.”

Arcade Fire bandmates and longtime husband-and-wife Win Butler and Régine Chassagne are separating.

“After a long and loving marriage, Win & Régine have decided to separate,” reads a post to the Arcade Fire Instagram. “They continue to love, admire and support each other as they co-parent their son.”

The post adds that Butler and Chassagne’s charity work together will continue, and that “their bond as creative soulmates will endure, as will Arcade Fire.”

“The band send their love and look forward to seeing you all on tour soon,” the post concludes.

Butler and Chassagne got married in 2003. Arcade Fire’s debut EP was released that same year.

In 2022, Butler was accused of sexual misconduct. In response to the allegations, Butler acknowledged that he had relations with people outside of his marriage to Chassagne, but maintained all of his encounters were consensual.
