New England is coming to Saturday Night Live in a big way.
Noted Vermonter Noah Kahan is set to perform on the show’s May 9 episode, which will be hosted by very famous Bostonian Matt Damon.
The set will mark Kahan’s second SNL appearance as a musical guest, following his debut performance in 2023. Damon, who’s starring in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey, will be hosting for the third time.
Saturday Night Live airs live coast to coast at 11:30 p.m. ET and streams live on Peacock.
Kahan will release a new album, The Great Divide, on April 24. He’ll launch a U.S. tour in June.

Andra Day has spent the last few years displaying acting her chops, but she hasn’t forgotten about the music. Speaking to Variety, she reveals she’s actually cooking something up, though she doesn’t know how she will release it.
“I haven’t decided whether it’s going to be a series of EPs or a full album yet,” says Andra, who notes she has been able to make some long-desired collaborations happen.
“[I am] finally getting in the studio with producers who I’ve been friends with for a while and we’ve been talking about working together for a while,” she adds.
Andra recently wrapped filming on Percy Jackson and the Olympians‘ third season, which she’s eager for fans to see.
“I’m so excited for people to see that because I’m actually a fan of the show, even before I was cast to play a character in the show,” she says. “So excited about that.”
First up, however, Andra is set to perform during the After Party portion of the Night Out for the No Kid Hungry event, which will raise money for the No Kid Hungry campaign and its fight to end childhood hunger.
“Making sure that kids have food and making sure that they can sustain themselves and families can sustain right now is of the utmost importance,” Days says of her involvement. “I know the event will be beautiful, but I think everyone at the event including the organizers are most excited about the outcome.”
Warren G is also set to perform; Anthony Anderson will serve as host of the dinner.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band brought the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour to The Forum in Los Angeles Tuesday night, where they broke out a cover that they haven’t played in over a decade.
Fan-shot footage posted to YouTube shows Springsteen and the band performing the Clash tune “Clampdown,” with Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello trading off vocals with The Boss.
According to setlist.fm, the last time the band performed the cover was in 2014 during the High Hopes Tour, which had Morello filling in for guitarist Stevie Van Zandt, who was off filming his Netflix series Lilyhammer.
The rest of the night stuck to the same set list as previous nights of the tour, including Springsteen opening with a cover of Edwin Starr’s “War” and “Born in the U.S.A.” Other songs performed included “Streets of Minneapolis,” “The Promised Land,” “Hungry Heart,” “Born to Run,” “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” and “Dancing in the Dark.”
Springsteen and The E Street Band return to The Forum on Thursday for a second show. The Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour runs through May 27 in Washington, D.C. A complete list of dates can be found at BruceSpringsteen.net.

Meek Mill is the latest artist to join Cardi B for a Little Miss Drama tour show. He came out onstage Tuesday during her stop at Xfinity Mobile Arena in his native Philadelphia and performed his hit “Dreams and Nightmare” to a sold-out crowd.
As he rapped the song, Cardi jumped around and joined in on some lyrics. The crowd also loudly rapped along.
“Shake the building,” Meek wrote alongside a video of his performance. He added in the comments, “It was sooo loud I couldn’t hear myself on beat lol.”
Cardi reshared the post on her Instagram Story, writing, “IT WAS A MOVIEEEEE.”
Cardi previously teamed with Meek on the 2018 song “On Me” from his album Championships.
Despite her busy schedule, Cardi is also making sure to keep track of her money. In an Instagram Live Monday, the rapper vented about thieves who had been using her credit card.
“Y’all are going to jail,” she said, noting she has “clear pictures” of the culprits in the act.
“One thing about me, I don’t play about my money,” she also said.
The Little Miss Drama tour comes to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

Is today gonna be the day you spend five figures on a historic Noel Gallagher guitar?
The acoustic Epiphone EJ-200 that Gallagher used when writing songs for Oasis’ 1995 album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, is going up for auction via Sotheby’s.
The guitar is signed by Gallagher along with a letter of authenticity, which states that it can be seen in the “promotional video” for the Oasis classic “Wonderwall.”
According to Sotheby’s, the guitar is expected to go for between $60,000 and $80,000.
(What’s the Story) Morning Glory? marked Oasis’ sophomore album and helped Britpop go global thanks to the aforementioned “Wonderwall,” and fellow singles “Champagne Supernova” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
Oasis played those three songs and more from (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? on their 2025 reunion tour, which marked their first live shows in 16 years and ended the long-running feud between Noel and his formerly estranged brother, Liam Gallagher.
“I busted out of my britches. That’s how you know it’s gonna be a good night.”
That’s the beginning of the just-released trailer for Lainey Wilson’s new Netflix documentary, before cutting to her singing “Hang Tight Honey” for a packed arena.
While the preview’s only two minutes long, it packs some major revelations — and lets the CMA and ACM entertainer of the year clear some things up.
“A lot of people think this was an overnight success,” Lainey says. “I’ve been here 14 years. So a 14-year overnight success.”
“I spent a decade being the one you didn’t see coming,” she adds in a voice-over. “I am putting everything I built on the line to make sure they never forget the name Lainey Wilson.”
Tracing things back to her Louisiana roots, Lainey recalls feeling at home in front of an audience from an early age.
“I remember at 5 years old feeling more comfortable onstage than I do anywhere else,” she says. “I was going and playing at random things. I played on top of an air conditioning unit.”
“My payment was free hotdogs the rest of my entire life. That is one of the biggest flexes I will ever have,” she quips.
The big surprise? Lainey’s making plans for motherhood with fiancé Devlin “Duck” Hodges.
“I feel it in my heart that I was called to be a mama. But sometimes the Lord just has other plans,” she says, going on to reveal, “I’m gonna freeze my eggs in April, put them babies on ice.”
Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool premieres April 22 on Netflix.
Ariana Grande attends the 96th Academy Awards, March, 2024 (Disney/Jenny Anderson)
In January, Variety asked Ariana Grande if she planned to release new music before her tour this summer, and quoted her as saying, “No — definitely not. Nothing is coming before May,” adding, “Not yet — but soon enough.”
Ariana then denied she said any such thing, writing in the comments of a post, “welp i never said ‘but soon enough’ or mentioned any months ! lol my goooooodness ……. !!!!!”
She went on to blame the misunderstanding on a “zoom glitch or something,” and joked that she’d need “an extra brain and four more arms” in order to be able to write a new album with her crazy schedule. But now it seems that all may have been some kind of ruse.
On Wednesday, Ariana posted an entire series of photos of herself working in the recording studio, leading fans to write comments such as, “ITS HAPPENING” and “AG8 IS COMING.”
And here’s more proof that something’s up: There’s a new message attached to the phone number Ariana set up to promote her album Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead.
The album marked its one-year anniversary on March 28. When you call the number, you hear Ariana celebrating that milestone and then saying, “We’re counting down the eights — oops! I mean the days. We’ll see you this summer.” Many fans believe this is a subtle hint that AG8 is, indeed, coming.
Ariana’s tour starts June 6, so it’s possible that she was telling the truth when she told Variety, “Nothing is coming before May.”

Katy Perry is dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and apparently their relationship includes being a sort of in-house music critic for his 18-year-old son, Xavier Trudeau.
While appearing on the Can’t Be Censored podcast, Xavier, who makes music under the name Xav, was asked if he talks to Katy about his music. He says he does, adding, “When I’m really happy with a song, like, [I] send it, yeah. Like, she’s always happy to give me advice or tell me what I should change.”
“She’s super nice. Like, she’s super down to earth,” Xav says, adding that Katy’s “great.”
“And I think that my dad’s happy, so that’s important,” he notes.
When asked what it’s like seeing photos of his father together with Katy — an experience that Xav’s mother, Justin’s ex-wife Sophie Grégoire, has described as “noise” — he says, “Yeah, but like, just like any other picture of my dad and my mom, or just my dad.”
However, he says he often thinks to himself, “What is my life?,” noting, “My life is just so crazy sometimes.”
Katy posted a carousel on Instagram Tuesday that included a new photo of herself posing with Justin. The caption was, “Never knew karma could be so rewarding.” That’s a lyric from Katy’s song “Legendary Lovers,” from her album Prism. In it, she sings, “Never knew karma could be so rewarding and bring me to your life/ Maybe this is the beginning of something so magical tonight.”
