Jermaine Dupri dated Janet Jackson from 2002-2009, and in the Janet Jackson documentary that aired over the weekend on A&E, the So So Def records founder admitted that he cheated on the five-time Grammy winner.

“One of the weird things about dating Janet is that dating Janet attracts other women,” Dupri said. “Girls wanted to talk to me more because I was dating her, which was really weird…and uhh, just you know…I was a man,” Dupri revealed before letting out a boisterous laugh.

In the documentary, Jackson said that during their relationship, JD failed to spend enough time with her.

“He was a workaholic and he was constantly working. I would not see him for like three weeks, a month,” the “That’s The Way Love Goes” singer commented. “As soon as he would come in, he would go to the club. And it’s like carve out just a little time for me…, and it was hard for him to do. His girlfriend was his work.”

Dupri, who composed and produced hits for Mariah Carey, Usher, and many more, worked as a producer on two of Janet’s solo albums: 20 Y.O. in 2006, and Discipline in 2008.

As Dupri’s comments were heard in the documentary, several fans ripped him on Twitter.

“Jermaine Dupri had Janet Jackson wanting to marry his lil Smurf self and was willing to give him multiple babies and he blew it by cheating on her?!,” one fan tweeted.

Another person wrote, “Jermaine Dupri had JANET. JACKSON…and STILL cheated. BECAUSE he was with Janet. STOP GIVING THESE SMEDIUM UGLIES CHANCES”

A third fan could not believe that Jermaine left Janet to go to a nightclub.

“You had the baddest and folded for a groupie in the club???

Doja Cat releases intergalactic music video for “Get Into It (Yuh)”

What wouldn’t Doja Cat do for her precious kitty?  To answer that burning question, the Grammy nominee takes fans on a ride through space with her brand new music video for “Get Into It (Yuh).”

The video centers on Doja, the captain of a sexually charged spaceship, who learns that her beloved pet has been kidnapped. She and her scantily-clad team try bargaining with the ugly space aliens, but it appears they only want one thing — a trade. They will only surrender the cat if Doja takes its place.

The “Kiss Me More” singer comes up with a ruse and suits up in an orange jumpsuit before jumping into the portal leading to the enemy’s ship.  She is escorted by a team of spear-wielding men — which she playfully uses as a metaphor for something else.

The big bad, who is menacingly stroking Doja’s cat, thinks the singer has fallen into his trap and orders his lackeys to start shooting.  But they are incapacitated by Doja’s twerking soldiers.  Meanwhile, the singer deflects their lasers using her bikini-like armor and some well-timed pelvic thrusts and kicks.

With no one left to protect the big bad, Doja is able to rescue her cat — but only after she knocks the villain out with a well-deserved fist.

“Get Into It (Yuh)” is the latest single off Doja’s Grammy-nominated Planet Her album after blowing up on TikTok.  The single pays tribute to Nicki Minaj, but despite being name dropped in the catchy song, the rapper does not cameo in the music short.

Nicki mentioned in September that she was asked to feature on the song, but declined because she felt she “couldn’t bring anything to it.”  The two have yet to collab.

When Walker Hayes took the stage at Arrowhead Stadium for the halftime show yesterday, things didn’t exactly go according to plan — but he’s finding the humor in the situation.

The country star served as the headline performer at the Cincinnati Bengals versus Kansas City Chiefs game in St. Louis on Sunday. But things went a bit awry during his set, as the volume was on full blast as CBS Sports announcers James Brown, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason, Nate Burleson and Phil Simms were attempting to discuss the game.

In a video shared by Walker, the singer can be heard performing his latest hit “AA” live while the team of announcers try their best to talk over the loud music and provide commentary from the field.

“@CBSSports thanks for having me,” Walker captions the clip with several crying laughing emojis.

The Bengals claimed victory, solidifying their spot in the Super Bowl against the Los Angeles Rams on February 13.

In new doc, Janet Jackson says she and Justin Timberlake are “very good friends,” and have “moved on”

Janet Jackson fans are still furious at Justin Timberlake for his role in the infamous 2004 Super Bowl “wardrobe malfunction,” which led to her career taking a hit while he emerged relatively unscathed. But it turns out that Janet herself isn’t angry at Justin, so she’d like her fans to move on, just as she and Justin have.

As Access Hollywood reports, in the second half of Janet’s new Lifetime documentary that aired on Saturday night, we see a video that Janet filmed for fans, in which she says, “This whole thing was blown way out of proportion. Of course, it was an accident that should not have happened, but everyone is looking for someone to blame and that’s got to stop.”

She adds, “Justin and I are very good friends and we will always be very good friends. We spoke just a few days ago and he and I have moved on, and it is time for everyone else to do the same.”

About a year ago, Justin issued an apology via Instagram to both Janet and his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, in which he admitted that he’d “benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism.”

The documentary also reveals that in the aftermath of what’s now known as “Nipplegate,” Janet was “disinvited” from the Grammys, which led her then-boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, to resign from the board of the Recording Academy. In addition, Janet shares that Justin did offer to speak out on her behalf, but she told him not to.

Finally, the doc reveals that Justin asked Janet to perform with him when he headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2018.  She declined, saying that it would have been “stretching out the past, reliving something that happened over 10 years ago.”
