Travis Scott is taking his Astroworld festival performance around the globe.

La Flame’s concert on Friday at Houston’s NRG Park will be streamed live on Apple Music to 167 countries and regions. The “Sicko Mode” rapper’s show will begin 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT. Scott also announced Thursday he’s dropping new music at midnight and unveiled the cover art on Instagram, which reads, in part, “The true dystopia is here.”

As previously reported, Young Thug, SZA, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Roddy Ricch, Baby Keem, Bad Bunny, BIA, Don Tolliver, Master P and Earth, Wind & Fire are among the 20 acts set for the two-day Astroworld fest on Friday and Saturday, which is sold out. One hundred thousand people are expected for the third annual festival.

After holding the fest in 2018 and 2019, Travis was forced to cancel the 2020 event due to COVID-19.

In addition to music, the festival will feature an amusement park with more than 30 custom carnival games and rides, including a roller coaster, a Ferris wheel and bumper cars. Jordans from Nike, and tickets to Houston Astros home games will be among the over 100 prizes that will be awarded.

Scott began Astroworld Week on Tuesday, featuring sports and educational activities in Houston raising awareness and funds in support of his nonprofit Cactus Jack Foundation. “Injecting the city with inspirational features and activities for charity is a must,” Travis wrote on Instagram in announcing Astroworld Week.

Nike Jordan is sponsoring a celebrity golf tournament, and also debuting an outdoor basketball court with a clinic for 75 fifth graders.

Scott also launched a youth center, connecting high school students with career opportunities in graphic design,  fashion, agriculture, food and nutrition.

Ava Max travels to the past to party in new video for Tiësto collab “The Motto”

Ava Max time-travels to the 1920s and gets everybody dancing in the video for “The Motto,” her new collaboration with superstar DJ Tiësto.

In the clip, a tipsy Ava leaves a party at a hotel and gets into an elevator, which she manages to short out with her glass of champagne. It goes haywire and deposits her in the lobby of the hotel in the Jazz Age, where bellhops and flappers eye her curiously.

Oblivious to the stares, Ava chugs Champagne, dances, and steals some era-appropriate accessories, before riding a luggage cart to another part of the hotel. There, Tiësto is hosting a banquet, which Ava promptly crashes, ruining a Champagne tower and dancing on the table — until everyone gets up and joins her.

The wild party ends with everyone posing for a group photo, which magically becomes a framed, sepia-toned picture hanging in the lobby of the modern-day hotel, in a nod to the movie The Shining

As the clip ends, we see modern-day Ava walk across the lobby in front of the picture, while telling someone on the phone, “Man, last night was crazy.  It felt like a dream!”

“Ava is such an exciting young talent and her beautiful voice adds such depth to the song…‘The Motto’ is the party anthem keeping us dancing into 2022 as we close out a crazy year!” says Tiësto in a statement.

“When Tiesto shared this record with me, I fell in love and couldn’t stop playing it,” Ava adds. “‘The Motto’ is empowering – it’s about not caring, doing you, having a good time, and letting the world know!”

Ever since word got out that Blake Shelton wrote a song for his wedding vows to pop superstar Gwen Stefani, fans have been hoping that the singer will officially share that track some day.

Now, it’s looking like more and more of a reality: Blake announced on social media this week that the song, called “We Can Reach the Stars,” will be out on Friday at midnight.

“Gwen Stefani and I decided we were going to write our own vows for the wedding, but I decided to surprise her by writing a song instead,” he wrote on Twitter. Blake and Gwen tied the knot over the summer in an intimate ceremony at Blake’s Oklahoma ranch. Since then, they’ve shared plenty of details from their gorgeous, family-focused special day.

Blake has long had plans to eventually release the song he wrote for Gwen. During an October appearance on Late Night with Seth Myers, he said he was “excited for people to hear it.”

Blake also planned to include the track on the deluxe version of his album, Body Language. That project will be out Dec. 3. Ahead of the release, you’ll be able to listen to “We Can Reach the Stars.” The deluxe Body Language is available for pre-order, too.

Eddie Vedder has premiered a new live video for his latest solo single, “Long Way.”

The performance was filmed during the Pearl Jam frontman’s set at his Ohana Festival in September. The clip not only showcases Vedder, put also his backing band for the show, which included Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, former RHCP guitarist Josh Klinghoffer and guitarist/producer Andrew Watt.

Perhaps it’s the California night sky or the way Vedder stretches out the “Long Way” lyric “on the freeway,” but the whole thing has major Tom Petty vibes. You can watch the video streaming now on YouTube.

“Long Way” premiered in September. It’s the first single off Vedder’s upcoming new solo album, Earthling, release date TBA.

Harry Styles once again has helped a fan come out to their mom.

At his concert in Milwaukee Wednesday night, he noticed a fan holding a sign that said, “My mom is in Section 201. Help me come out.”

In video of the moment posted to social media, Harry is seen approaching the fan and chatting with her before running across the stage to locate her mom, whose name is Lisa, on the other side of the arena. Once he reached the mom’s area, he announced, “Lisa, she’s gay!”

The response, thankfully, was a positive one: Lisa was seen on the big screen blowing kisses and wiping away tears.

Back in 2018, Harry had a similar viral moment when he helped a fan come out to her mom by yelling, “Tina, she’s gay!”

Carly Pearce + Ashley McBryde tell a different kind of cheating story in their new music video

Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde tell both sides of a cheating story in the music video for their duet, “Never Wanted to Be That Girl,” which comes off of Carly’s 29:Written In Stone album.

The clip is a dramatic mini-movie that follows both Carly and Ashley as they realize their relationship isn’t what they thought it was, and that they’re both being lied to by a partner that they trusted. Filmed just outside Nashville, the video was directed by Alexa Campbell.

“What’s interesting about the song is we could have gone to a place of blame on the others in the love triangle, but we turned it inward,” Carly reflects. “It’s unique that two women who have never met are getting burned by the same man and having the exact same feelings. We intentionally kept the chorus the same to reflect that neither wanted to be in this position.”

Both women bring powerful acting chops to the table in this video, too. That comes as no surprise: Ashley has already proved that she’s a talented actor in other music videos for songs of hers like “Martha Divine.”

In just days, Ashley and Carly will hit the CMA Awards stage to perform “Never Wanted to Be That Girl.” The show airs November 10 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
