Led Zeppelin‘s Robert Plant and acclaimed country/bluegrass artist Alison Krauss will be the musical guest this Friday, December 17, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT on NBC.

Plant and Krauss will be promoting their new collaborative album Raise the Roof, which debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 and at #1 on Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums chart earlier this month.

The duo also are featured in a new installment of NPR Music’s signature music-performance series, Tiny Desk Concert, which you can watch now on YouTube. The session was shot at a Nashville studio, and captures Robert, Alison and five musicians playing three songs from Raise the Roof — “Can’t Let Go,” “Searching for My Love” and “Trouble with My Lover.”

“Can’t Let Go” was written by Randy Weeks and originally recorded in 1998 by acclaimed alt-country artist Lucinda Williams; “Searching for My Love” is a 1966 R&B tune by Bobby Moore & the Rhythm Aces; and “Trouble with My Lover” was written by New Orleans legend Allen Toussaint and recorded in 1968 by soul singer Betty Harris.

Four of the musicians backing Plant and Krauss are featured on Raising the Roof, while the duo also is joined by Oklahoma-based singer/guitarist and roots rocker JD McPherson.

As previously reported, Plant and Krauss will be launching a short U.S. tour next year that kicks off June 1 in Canandaigua, New York, and runs through a June 16 in Atlanta.

Though Brett Young balances a hectic schedule as a chart-topping country singer, it sounds like he has his hands full at home with two young daughters.

Brett and his wife, Taylor, are parents to two-year-old Presley and four-month-old Rowan, and the singer admits that sleep is a luxury in their house.

“It’s the best reason to wake up, but after you pile on enough nights in a row, it starts getting pretty tough,” he shares on the Tamron Hall Show about fatherhood.

But Brett and his wife approach parenting as a team effort. He says when he’s home from touring, he takes care of Presley in the morning while Taylor handles the baby.

“I can’t give the four-month-old everything she needs yet,” he jokes about which is easier to care for. “If I had to do that, it would be tougher for me.”

Brett and Taylor welcomed Presley in October 2019 and Rowan in July 2021. They serve as inspiration for the hit singer’s children’s book, Love You, Little Lady, released earlier this year.

Jack Harlow grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and he’s partnering with Kentucky Fried Chicken to assist tornado victims in his home state.

The “Whats Poppin” rapper and KFC are donating $250,000 to the American Red Cross in support of relief efforts. He’s also encouraging his fans to donate on the KFC Tornado Relief website

“The state needs our help more than ever in the wake of this past weekend’s devastating tornadoes,” Harlow commented on Instagram.

“Growing up I always dreamed of being that guy who would put Kentucky on the map in the music scene,” Harlow added. “But to team up with an iconic national staple like KFC, the biggest brand to come out of Kentucky, is truly an honor. I’m looking forward to all the amazing things we’re about to do together.”

Tuesday, Jack is headlining the first of five “No Place Like Home” concerts in his hometown on consecutive nights in different venues. Each night, KFC food trucks will offer chicken sandwiches wrapped in custom Harlow packaging. At two selected shows, a giant KFC Bucket Boombox will pump his music.

Harlow is up for two Grammy Awards: Best Melodic Rap Performance for his feature on Lil Nas X‘s “Industry Baby,” and Album of the Year as a featured artist and songwriter on Nas’ Montero.

Not even the New York City Rockettes can teach Josh Groban how to dance

Josh Groban admits he has two left feet when it comes to busting out fancy dance moves, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t tried to learn the basics. To help master the art of dancing, he traveled to Radio City Music Hall to consult the New York City Rockettes.

The Grammy nominee shared the Rockettes’ hilarious training montage where they try — and fail — to teach Josh how to do their signature high-kicking can-can.

“I learned a few things whilst taping this rehearsal with some of the brilliant @therockettes. 1. Stretch. 2. Maybe don’t wear Doc Martins for dancing. 3. What they do is really really hard,” Josh explained. “Thanks @therockettes for attempting to make me a triple threat. Not sure I got there but hey, that’s the way the cookie crumbles ok?”

His terrible dancing aside, Josh certainly gets an A for effort. He also tries to repay the dance professionals for trying to teach him how to perform their high kicks and flashy choreography by giving them a vocal lesson — but the ladies scurry away as soon as he turns his back on them.

Josh encouraged fans to head to New York City to watch the annual Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, which runs through January 2, 2022. In turn, the dancers invited fans to support Josh’s upcoming spectacular at the venue, which runs from April 7 to April 9, 2022.

Tickets for both events are on sale now at Radio City Music Hall’s official website.

Tim McGraw has been singing on the set of ’1883′: ”I can’t help it”
Robby Klein

Even though Tim McGraw is in character, he still can’t help but sing on the set of 1883.

Tim and his wife of 25 years, Faith Hill, star in the Yellowstone prequel as James and Margaret Dutton, who migrate from Texas to Montana to establish the future Yellowstone Ranch.

Zooming in to CBS Mornings from the set in Guthrie, Texas while dressed in costume, Tim admits his cast mates often hear him singing as a coping mechanism for the heavy nature of the dramatic show.

“I can’t help it. Somebody says something and it reminds me of a song, so I start singing. I’m sure they’re pretty tired of it by now, but there’s got to be a little levity on set because everything’s so dramatic on this show and there’s a lot of heavy stuff going on,” he explains. “So every chance I get to lighten it up a bit I try to do.”

The superstar adds that getting to play James Dutton is the role of a lifetime. Growing up in Louisiana and riding horses, the new acting gig allows Tim to fulfill his childhood fantasy of being a cowboy.

“It’s every kid’s dream to be able to play a role like this,” he raves. “It’s been quite an adventure for sure.”

1883 premieres on Paramount+ on December 19.

Jessie J is sharing more about her healing journey after losing her pregnancy last month.  The “Domino” singer took to Instagram and shared her hopes for the future.

Accompanied by a video reel of her goofing off with a friend in New York City, Jessie admitted, “Still not myself. Still cry myself to sleep some nights. Still working it all out. Still fighting.”

“Not quitting on my happiness or myself. This year was phew,” she continued. “But I will keep climbing out of the sadness, my happiness is my responsibility, not anyone else’s. I will not be putting bandaids on the problems and heavy feelings but really feeling them and healing them.”

The singer also noted that she has to “practice what I tell everyone else to do in these damn songs” before shouting out one of her friends for being right by her side through the worst of it.

“Thank you @ohhalx for 24 hours of crying, laughing, eating and finding inspiration in the little things in life. The support is needed more than you know,” she closed, before proving that she is starting to return to her old self.  She signed off by joking that, even though the two are no more than friends, fans are “free to imagine” otherwise because “it would be hot.”

The British singer first revealed her miscarriage in late November.

Camila Cabello is opening up more about her mental health struggles, which she previously admitted had gotten much worse when the pandemic sidelined her career.  In a new interview, the “Havana” singer revealed how working on Cinderella helped her through that “really hard time” in her life.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the Grammy nominee explained that she was able to fully process her internal struggles after writing the movie’s original track, “Million to One.”

“I don’t think I know how to write in any way that isn’t personal to me,” said Camila. “I was going through a really hard time with my mental health. It was just a period of a lot of anxiety and sadness for me, and that song had me feeling like, ‘I can overcome this. I know that I can make my life better.'”

She continued, “I feel like I channeled my personal journey into [Ella]. The character was super confident –everybody was telling her no, but she knew.”

Cinderella is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.

Camila also revealed how Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran helped her early on in her career.  She said she “fell in love with songwriting” when she was still in Fifth Harmony and approached Taylor to ask, “Hey, what do you do when you’re in a writing slump?”

Camila said Ed and Taylor “showed me a lot of kindness” when she asked for their guidance, declaring, “These were my songwriting heroes, so I was stoked that they were even talking to me.”
