Tears For Fears co-founder Roland Orzabal is ready to tell his life story.

The rocker is releasing Welcome to Your Life: Love, Death, and Tears for Fears on Aug. 4, described as a “deeply personal memoir” that “explores the formative experiences and complex worldview of a creator, his creations, and his personal life.”

The book is described as an “astrological memoir,” with Orzabal, a lifelong astrology fan, using it as a tool to support the storytelling, revealing how his life has been affected by his astrological chart.

Welcome to Your Life will delve into the creation of the band with musical partner Curt Smith, and their massive success thanks to their 1985 album, Songs From The Big Chair, and hit songs like “Shout,” “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and “Head over Heels.” It will also cover the creative and personal breakdown of their relationship, leading Tears For Fears to break up in 1991, before reuniting in 2000.

The book will also offer readers a look into Orzabal’s personal life, including his mental health struggles and the loss of his wife in 2017.

“As he reflects on love, faith, and recovery, Orzabal shows how the power of music can heal even the deepest wounds,” the description notes.

Welcome to Your Life: Love, Death, and Tears for Fears is available for preorder now.

The Alarm has released a video for the song “Live Today,” the final clip to feature their late frontman Mike Peters, who passed away April 29, 2025, after a 31-year battle with cancer.

The track is featured on the band’s upcoming album, Transformation, which will be released May 29.

The video was filmed on a beach in the North of England just days before Peters underwent CAR-T treatment that he had hoped would beat his aggressive form of lymphoma, known as Richter’s syndrome.

“Mike lived a life of beauty and never gave up right to the very end,” says Jules Peters, the rocker’s wife and bandmate. “As the sun rose, watching Mike perform this song with so much optimism and hope will live with me forever.”

“This video is such a difficult watch,” she adds. “It broke my heart … but it captures the eternal essence of Mike Peters that keeps us coming back to him and his incredible songs time after time.”

Transformation is available for preorder now.

Every morning during their mission, the Artemis II crew has been woken up in their Orion spacecraft by a song of the Mission Control in Houston’s choice. Now, you can get all those songs on one playlist.

“Each track was selected by the Moon crew continuing a tradition that started more than 50 years ago,” the NASA Instagram account explains.

The playlist is updated and includes Wednesday’s wake-up song: “Under Pressure” by Queen & David Bowie. The first song astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen heard was Young & Sick’s cover of “Sleepyhead” by Passion Pit.

That was followed by:

John Legend: “Green Light (ft. Andre 3000)”

Freddy Jones Band: “In a Daydream”

Chappell Roan: “Pink Pony Club”

CeeLo Green: “Working Class Heroes (Work)”

Mandisa & TobyMac: “Good Morning”

Glass Animals & Denzel Curry: “Tokyo Drifting”

In the comments of the NASA post about the playlist, Glass Animals, best known for their #1 hit “Heat Waves,” wrote, “this is the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me in my life ever.”

Young & Sick — the stage name of Dutch artist Nick van Hofwegen — wrote, “Thank you sooooo much for having me aboard!! My life will never be the same.”

Watch Harry Styles perform ‘Carla’s Song’ in a Paris museum

Harry Styles (Johnny Dufort)

If you’d rather see Harry Styles perform his music in an intimate setting, as opposed to an arena full of screaming fans, he’s got you covered.

Harry has teamed up with the French production company La Blogothèque for one of its signature Take Away shows: intimate performances, usually acoustic, captured in unusual settings. The show, which lasts about six minutes, was recorded in February and shows Harry singing “Carla’s Song” in the Musée Bourdelle in Paris. The only accompaniment is Harry playing the piano.

At the end, Harry utters a French slang phrase — “Je suis en PLS” — which means “I’m done,” in the sense of, “I’m dead” or “I’m exhausted.”

Carla’s Song” is about Harry’s friend Carla discovering Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Paul Simon’s music, and then her reaction when he played her one of Paul’s most famous songs, “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

Victoria Monét has a new album on the way, led by the single “Let Me.” In a recent conversation about the project, she explained that its sound leans into nostalgia, mainly due to her musical influences.

“I think that a lot of people who are growing up in music today, I feel like they’re skipping over some really great, timeless, classic songs,” she told Ryan Cameron Uncensored. “And I think if I have the opportunity to bring them back to the surface, I would love to be the person to do that.”

“If I’m thinking about what I’m creating, it’s a mix of the past but also the future because I’m kind of in my head astral projecting into the future for the success of the song, for what people would want to hear by the time the album comes out,” she continued. “My past is my foundation and what I’ve experienced and what I’ve heard. It influences me so much that it feels natural to be talking about it.”

Though it’s unclear what the album will be called or when it will be released, Victoria says that when the time comes, she wants the buzz around the project “to be massive.”

“I want it to be next level, better than I was before,” she explains. “I had always had the goal in mind that if Jaguar 2 was my Off the Wall, then I want this to be my Thriller just as far as magnitude and impact and global growth.”

Victoria is set to join Bruno Mars for the European leg of his The Romantic tour, kicking off in June.

“I am SOO excited to announce I will be joining @brunomars on The Romantic Tour in Europe this summer!!!” she wrote shortly after the news broke. “This is a dream come true.”
