ASIA is giving fans a chance to enjoy their live experience at home.

The band — whose current lineup includes keyboardist and founding member Geoff Downes, drummer Virgil Donati, guitarist John Mitchell, and vocalist and bassist Harry Whitley — is set to release the new album Asia – Live in England on March 13.

The album was recorded live in April during night one of ASIA’s three-night stand at Trading Boundaries in Sussex, England. As a preview, the band has released a live performance video of their top-five hit “Heat of the Moment.”

Speaking of the song, Downes says, “It’s still a really fun track to play live, and I hope it will bring back memories, and give pleasure to the listeners and fans all over the world for many years to come.”

Whitley adds, “Playing ‘Heat Of The Moment’ live is always such an incredible experience, it’s always electrifying and this recording was no different.” He notes, “We’re really looking forward to fans hearing this whole live album and the others to follow.”

Asia – Live in England is available for preorder now.

Hailey Whitters and her husband, Jake Gear, welcomed their first child, son Rye Whitters Gear, on Dec. 4, the couple announced on Instagram

“The cliche really is true – we don’t know what we ever did without you here,” Hailey says in her post. “We can’t wait to see who you become. Thank you to all our friends and family who’ve checked in on us these last few weeks… the boy is already so well-loved. Welcome to the world, our sweet son.”

You can catch a glimpse of the little one in Hailey’s post, in a picture where she holds his tiny hand.

In June Hailey put out her new album, Corn Queen, a reference to her Iowa roots.

The Rolling Stones have teamed with DJ producer Fatboy Slim for an official mash-up of their 1965 classic “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and Fatboy Slim’s 1998 track “The Rockafeller Skank.”

“Satisfaction Skank” is out now via digital outlets, with the artists also releasing an official video for the track.

“Big thanks to @therollingstones for just being the Rolling Stones (…and also for making this happen),” Fatboy Slim wrote on Instagram.

While this is the first official release of the song, the mash-up certainly isn’t new. An unofficial version of the remix has been circulating during DJ sets and on bootleg recordings for years, but had been kept from official release because The Stones’ management wouldn’t agree to let the “Satisfaction” sample be used.

Evanescence has released a new remix of their song “Afterlife” in connection with the 2025 Game Awards.

The updated recording, released exclusively on Spotify, is a collaboration with the synthwave band Gunship. The original version, which premiered in March, was recorded for Netflix’s adaptation of the Devil May Cry video game series.

“We’ve been looking for an excuse to work with Gunship for too long and couldn’t be more excited about this dark new version of ‘Afterlife,'” says frontwoman Amy Lee in a statement. “Being a part of the Devil May Cry series has been an honor and too much fun.”

As previously reported, Evanescence will be performing “Afterlife” at the 2025 Game Awards. The show, which celebrates the best in video games, will stream live online Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Along with the “Afterlife” remix, Spotify’s Game Awards singles series also includes Bilmuri covering the song “I Really Want to Stay at Your House,” originally featured in the game Cyberpunk 2077.

Sam Smith welcomed two guests to the stage Wednesday during the final week of their To Be Free: New York residency series at Brooklyn’s Warsaw club.

Sam performed new music and some biggest hits for an audience that included Anne Hathaway and Vogue‘s Anna Wintour. The singer then brought out fellow Grammy winners Brandi Carlile and Ed Sheeran for some special duets.

Brandi teamed with Sam for a performance of their 2018 charity collaboration, “Party of One,” which was followed by Ed and Sam’s live rendition of “Who We Love,” a song from Sam’s 2023 album, Gloria. All three artists then sang one of Sam’s signature hits, “I’m Not the Only One.”

Sam launched the residency in October, but after all 12 dates sold out, it was extended through Dec. 13. They’ll do a similar residency in San Francisco starting in February.

Believe it or not, Luke Combs‘ first experience with the guitar wasn’t exactly love at first sight.

Recently named the bestselling country artist of all time by the RIAA, Luke reminisced about his first instrument on Instagram, thanks to some pictures his mother recently found.

“My mom was going through some old photos the other day and came across these gems haha,” Luke shared, along with two snapshots that show him as a child, sitting in a recliner wearing a visor and plaid pajama pants as he attempts to play.

“This was Christmas 1999,” he continues, “I was 9 years old and my parents had just given me my first guitar. Crazy how life changes because for many years after these photos were taken I had no interest at all in that guitar.”

“Days Like These,” the latest single from the two-time CMA entertainer of the year, just started its climb up the country chart, following his most recent #1, “Back in the Saddle.”

Originally released in 1987, Faith hit #1 in over 100 countries, including the U.S. and the U.K. It contained four #1 singles — “Faith,” “Father Figure,” “One More Try” and “Monkey” — making Michael the only British male solo artist to have four #1 singles from one album. Faith earned George Michael a Grammy for album of the year and has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.
