Harry Styles‘ new movie, My Policemanarrives on Amazon Prime Video this Friday, and he hopes it teaches the audience a very important lesson on love and happiness.

Harry walked the red carpet on Tuesday and answered fan-submitted questions for Amazon Prime. When asked what My Policeman meant to him, Harry didn’t hesitate to talk about the moral of the film.

“I think the story’s about wasted time, and that it’s never too late to follow your heart and do what you want,” he said. He also revealed there’s an important lesson he hopes “people take away” from the movie: “It’s never too late to follow your happiness and be brave in love.”

In the movie, Harry stars as a closeted police officer named Tom who engages in an affair with a museum curator named Patrick, played by David Dawson. The movie is set in England in the 1950s, when homosexuality was prohibited.

My Policeman, also starring The Crown‘s Emma Corrin, arrives on Prime Video Friday, November 4.

Takeoff, one third of the rap trio Migos, died as a result of “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm,” according to a report from the Harris County medical examiner’s office.

The 28-year-old rapper was shot multiple times outside of 810 Billiards & Bowling in downtown Houston on Tuesday. He died at the scene of the gunfire, and the unidentified suspect is still at large.

While Houston authorities urged witnesses to step up with information about Takeoff’s fatal shooting, many in the hip-hop world mourned the tragic loss. Offset, the rapper’s cousin and group mate, recently changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of Takeoff.

Offset and Takeoff made several hit records alongside Quavo as part of the group Migos. Amid a rumored breakup, Offset released some solo singles. Quavo and Takeoff, aka Unc & Phew, dropped a project, Only Built for Infinity Links, last month.

Chances are you can’t hit the road without a few must-haves; for BTS‘ Jin, there are a few possessions he just can’t live without.

Speaking to GQ, the singer revealed both the common-sense and the downright bizarre things that make his world go round.

Jin first showed off his limited-edition blue tennis bag and matching yellow racket that have a Minions character on them. “If you’re a superstar, you can’t help yourself with limited editions,” he remarked and noted he picked this pairing because “it’s not that big.”

Jin said he also needs a gaming keyboard because he’s been playing games since he was in elementary school. “V is the member who’s best at playing games,” he said of his fellow BTS member and added the group makes time to play games together. Jin confessed he’s “not good” at gaming, but joked J-Hope is worse than he is.

His strangest possession is his blue pajamas with an angel print that he helped design. Jin revealed the angel that appears all over his pajamas is based on the TinyTAN animated characters.

On the more mundane side of things, Jin said his wallet is super important and he can never leave home without it.

He also loves his green Louis Vuitton bag.

Jin just released his new song “The Astronaut,” which features Coldplay. He is also slated to be the first member of BTS to go into mandatory military service.

My Morning Jacket‘s 2011 album Circuital is getting the reissue treatment.

An expanded, deluxe version of the record will arrive December 9 and includes 10 previously unreleased demo recordings.

“Every record is like a time machine, and we all keep changing and changing,” says frontman Jim James.

“I’ve come to see myself as a kind of older sibling to the younger version of me,” he continues. “So it’s almost like I become two beings when I sing a song from the olden times: one is the person who wrote the song so long ago, the other is the current me who’s there as support for my younger self, alive forever in the multiverse. And then those two voices combine to form something new and different every time.”

Circuital, the sixth MMJ album, is the band’s highest-charting release, having debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200. It spawned the single “Holdin on to Black Metal.”

MMJ’s most recent album is 2021’s self-titled effort.

Carrie Underwood copes with a breakup in “Hate My Heart” music video

Carrie Underwood’s latest music video is here and it’s a master class in all the different ways to get over heartbreak.

The video for “Hate My Heart” starts with five women — Carrie and four of her pals — simultaneously slamming the door on a relationship, both literally and metaphorically. In the group chat, all of them swear they’re done and they all start heading down different paths toward healing with their different coping mechanisms.

Carrie immediately heads to the gym, sprinting on a treadmill and taking all her frustration out on a punching bag. Meanwhile, one of her friends is eating ice cream and watching sad movies, another is checking out dating apps and a third is enjoying a little online retail therapy.

In a fun Easter egg for Carrie’s longtime fans, the final friend in the group is sitting in her recent ex’s car, carving her name into his leather seats — a nod to a lyric in Carrie’s 2005 megahit “Before He Cheats.”

Another scene shows Carrie onstage, singing to a packed house, as the other version of herself — the recently single version who’s been hitting the gym to ease her heartbreak — makes her way toward the front of the crowd. Finally, she jumps up and the two Carries sing face to face in the final chorus of the song.

Carrie debuted the music video for “Hate My Heart” on Facebook, and it’ll be available on YouTube on Friday. The song is the latest single off her Denim & Rhinestones album.
