Last August saw the release of The Complete Reprise Studio Albums – Volume I, a vinyl box set featuring remastered versions of Eric Clapton‘s first six studio efforts for the Reprise label. Should you find yourself in need of a late holiday present this year, good news: volume two is right around the corner.

Eric Clapton: The Complete Reprise Studio Albums — Volume 2 will be out January 13, and “combines remastered versions of five solo studio albums Clapton recorded with Reprise between 2001 and 2010 with an additional LP of rarities selected from the same era,” according to the label.

The set includes newly remastered versions of five studio albums released over nine years, all pressed on 180-gram vinyl: 2001’s Reptile, featuring the Grammy-winning title track; 2004’s Me & Mr. Johnson, featuring covers of songs by Delta blues legend Robert Johnson, and the companion album Sessions for Robert J; the Grammy-winning and RIAA Gold-certified Back Home, from 2005; and 2010’s Clapton. All the albums will be released as double LPs, with the exception of Sessions for Robert J, which will be a single disc. The box set also marks the first time that album will be released on vinyl.

Additionally, the Rarities Vol. II 2001-2010 disc includes eight tracks, including the newly remixed bonus track “Midnight Hour Blues,” which you can get a taste of now.

You can pre-order Eric Clapton: The Complete Reprise Studio Albums — Volume 2 now via Rhino Records or Clapton’s official website. Volume I is still available both places as well.

After multiple teases, Pink has released her new song and video, “Never Gonna Not Dance Again.”

Pink co-wrote the song with Max Martin and Shellback, with whom she’s worked on past hits like “Raise Your Glass” and “Perfect.” The track is about continuing to be happy despite hard times. “I want my life to be like a Whitney Houston song,” she sings.

In the video, Pink roller skates through a grocery store, interacting with all kinds of people, from a little girl to an old woman. As she skates out to the parking lot, a bunch of people eye her suspiciously, but when she ducks into a food truck, emerges in a different outfit and busts a move in the parking lot, she wins them over.

Pink then leads everyone in the parking lot into the grocery store, which has now been transformed into a disco with multiple mirror balls and lights, and they all have a massive dance party.

Pink will give the song its TV premiere on the 2022 American Music Awards, airing November 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PTT on ABC.

(A previous version of this story published on 11/4/22 erroneously identified the song “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” as “Never Not Gonna Dance Again.” The text above has been updated to correct the error.)

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans have formally signed the paperwork on their divorce, according to a report from Page Six, which indicates that the two artists reached an agreement on October 24.

According to paperwork they signed on November 3, they’re dividing up assets in accordance with their prenuptial agreement. Among those is the home they shared in Nashville. Neither member of the former couple is currently living at the home, and it’s currently up for sale, with the proceeds set to be divided between them.

Kelsea and Morgan first announced that they were getting divorced in August. The “Heartfirst” singer shared the news first, telling her fans on an Instagram Story slide that she wanted them to hear it directly from her.

“This deeply difficult decision is the result of a journey of love, growth and effort that ultimately has come to an end,” she wrote.

Morgan also shared his thoughts on social media, saying, “I wish it were otherwise, but sadly it is not.”

The couple were married for nearly five years. They tied the knot in December 2017.

Halloween may have come and gone this year, but it’s never too late to post photos of your costume – if you’re Beyoncé, that is.

The singer and her family dressed up as the crew from the popular Disney Channel animated series The Proud Family for Halloween. On Thursday night, she posted a fashionably late photo of her family in their outfits.

Beyoncé wore two different costumes. She was the Trudy to Jay-Z‘s Oscar, but she also donned the famous pink dress and cane to become the Proud family’s grandmother, Suga Mama.

Ten-year-old Blue Ivy was cast as big sister Penny, while 5-year-old twins Rumi and Sir dressed as the troublesome Proud family twins CeCe and BeBe, respectively.

And, yes, you’re remembering correctly: Destiny’s Child did sing The Proud Family’s classic theme song. “Family every single day and night,” Beyoncé wrote in her Instagram caption, referencing one of the lyrics from the opening theme.

Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain released a new holiday EP titled Christmas Is Love on Friday, November 4.

The five-song collection, which is available now via streaming services, was written and produced by Cain, with four of the tunes mixed and mastered by Jonathan’s frequent collaborator David Kalmusky at Nashville’s Addiction Sound Studios.

“Christmas is love. It is that simple,” says Cain about the message of the EP and its title track.

“Hope Was Born” highlights the story of the birth of Jesus, while “Who Is This Child” finds Cain marveling at Jesus’ arrival.

“I enjoy celebrating Christmas every year,” adds Jonathan. “What went down in the desert at Bethlehem, it’s such a monumental miracle that shouldn’t be taken for granted. It was a game-changer.”

The Christmas Is Love EP also includes “Wonder of Wonders,” a duet with Michael Tait of the popular Christian-rock act that Cain first released in 2019. The final song on the EP is “Behold,” a previously unreleased tune that Jonathan performed at his 2021 Wonder of Wonders Christmas Concert held at the City of Destiny church in Apopka, Florida, where his wife, Paula White-Cain, serves as pastor.

Cain is planning to host a 2022 edition of his Christmas Concert at the church on December 18.

Christmas Is Love follows Cain’s latest faith-based album, Arise, which arrived in May, and Journey’s new studio effort, Freedom, which was released in July.

Gorillaz shares new ‘Cracker Island’ song, “Baby Queen”

Parlophone

Gorillaz has premiered a new song called “Baby Queen,” a track off their upcoming album, Cracker Island.

“Baby Queen” begins with the lyric, “I met the princess from Thailand, again” and is presumably the song frontman Damon Albarn told the Los Angeles Times he was writing about meeting the Crown Princess of Thailand during a 1997 Blur show in Bangkok.

“She was only 14 at the time, and she came to see us, and due to the very specific role the royal family play in Thailand, they put a throne next to the mixing board for her to sit in, surrounded by I don’t know how many soldiers,” Albarn recalled. “‘Song 2’ started and she stood on her throne and stage-dived into the crowd.”

“The reason I’ve written a song about it is because I had a dream about this princess very recently,” he added. “She’d grown up and we spent time in my dream together, her as a woman.”

That LA Times interview was also the same article in which Albarn infamously said that Taylor Swift “doesn’t write her own songs.” Albarn later apologized “unreservedly and unconditionally” to Swift.

Cracker Island will be released February 24, 2023. It also includes the previously released song “New Gold” and the title track.

Megan Thee Stallion is firing back after Drake seemingly implied in the lyrics to one of his new songs that she was lying about the Tory Lanez shooting.

In the song “Circo Loco” off his new joint album, Her Loss, with 21 Savage, Drake raps, “This b**** lie ’bout getting shots but she still a stallion.”

Megan took to Twitter to respond, writing in part, “Stop using my shooting for clout…Since when tf is it cool to joke about abt women getting shot !”

“Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a Black woman when she say one of y’all homeboys abused her,” she continued in the now-deleted tweet.

“And when the mf facts come out remember all y’all h** a** favorite rappers that stood behind a n**** that SHOT A FEMALE,” she wrote.

In 2020, Tory allegedly shot Megan in both her feet following a party in Hollywood Hills. He is currently under house arrest and awaiting trial for the shooting.
