Summer Walker is now a mother of three. The singer recently gave birth to twins, helping her accomplish her goal of having more than one child before she turns 30 years old.

“I really reached my goal of hella kids before 30,” Walker wrote on her Instagram Story. “I’m so happy lol.” She added that all three of her children are “so sweet.”

Walker became a mother in 2021, when she welcomed her daughter with producer and ex London on da Track. While many knew she and her ex-boyfriend Larry were expecting, the singer surprised fans over the weekend with the news that she welcomed not one but two children.

“I’m so proud of myself,” she wrote. “Just sharing to inspire other women, cause I know once you carry twins to almost 42 weeks, especially with one breech, people will try to steer you towards induction or C-section.”

“You can do it, this was my second home birth all natural 7 hrs, no tearing,” she continued. Summer then thanked Larry, her spirit guides, godparents, birth team and elders for helping her along the way.

The perpetual interpersonal drama of System of a Down has a new chapter.

In an interview with the Battleline Podcast, drummer John Dolmayan says that vocalist Serj Tankian “hasn’t really wanted to be in the band for a long time.”

“Quite frankly, we probably should’ve parted ways around 2006,” Dolmayan says. “We tried to get together multiple times to make an album, but there were certain rules set in place that made it difficult to do so and maintain the integrity of what System of a Down stood for.”

“I think we should’ve moved on, and if Serj didn’t want to be in the band at that time, we should’ve just moved on and done it with somebody else,” he continues. “Maybe it would’ve been better if we moved on and got another singer for an album or two and continued to make music and brought Serj back later if he wanted to come back. That probably would’ve been better.”

Dolmayan also shares that he feels all the SOAD side projects are “never quite that good compared to System.”

“In fact, I think a lot of them aren’t very good at all,” he continues. “When you compare that to what we do together as System, you understand why the team matters.”

System did go on hiatus in 2006 following the release of 2005’s Mezmerize and Hypnotize, which remain the band’s most recent albums. Since reuniting in 2010, the band has continued to perform live, but hasn’t released any new material aside from two singles in 2020.

In 2018, Tankian wrote a Facebook post saying he was “responsible” for the hiatus, while also sharing a list of suggestions that he brought to his bandmates to help forge a path forward on a new album, which were evidently rejected.

Two of today’s most beloved artists are getting ready to release a collaboration. During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, Dionne Warwick revealed she’s teaming up with newly inducted Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dolly Parton on a new song.

“She sent me a song that she wanted me to record, and I said, ‘OK, that sounds like a deal,'” Dionne shared. “She’s such a sweetheart. I love her. She sent me another song, the one that we’re going to be doing. It’s a duet.”

The song, “Pease Like A River,” is a gospel tune Dolly wrote. “I’m very excited about this, I really am,” Dionne says. “I’ve done so many duets over the years, but this one is going to be very special.”

Dionne explains that working with Dolly was special due to her connection to Dionne’s late cousin Whitney Houston, who recorded Dolly’s “I Will Always Love You” and turned it into a huge hit.

“It’s preordained,” Dionne insists. “God’s got a purpose.”

Tamron Hall announced the song will be coming “this month,” although an exact release date wasn’t provided.

Justin Bieber showed off how incredibly stealthy he can be after hitting up a New Year’s celebration and partying it up to a Beyoncé song without the performers noticing.

The moment was captured by the Nu-Disco band OneUpDuo while performing at a party in Aspen, Colorado. They were belting out Bey’s “Love on Top” and failed to notice a familiar face grooving in the front.

Ashley McBryde‘s latest update from the fictional town of Lindeville has arrived, in the form of her new video, “Brenda Put Your Bra On.”

The tune is the opening track from her Grammy-nominated Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville album and chronicles a domestic disturbance in a trailer park.

“As soon as we recorded this song, we knew we wanted to make a video for it. It’s the start of the action in Lindeville,” Ashley explains. “There were a lot of ways we could have shot the video, yet [director] Reid [Long] had the idea to capture all the insanity and drama in one continuous take, which feels very in tune with the spirit of this entire project.”

Caylee Hammack and Pillbox Patti join Ashley on the track, which was produced by Brothers Osborne‘s John Osborne. Sibling TJ also appears on the album, along with Brandy Clark and others.

The Lindeville troupe will come together February 15 and 16 to perform the album at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.
