A fan asked Selena Gomez on Instagram where her new album is. She responded, “Oh, it’s coming,” but has yet to reveal a release date. Fans believe it’ll drop sometime this year.

BTS‘ Jimin is the new face of Dior. The K-pop artist is their new global ambassador, and the luxury brand shared images of his first campaign. They said Jimin “exemplifies the timeless spirit and singularity of Dior.”

Another BTS member, SUGA, was announced as the new brand ambassador for Valentino. The luxury brand said he was “chosen for his authenticity, creativity and empathy” to represent the company.

Britney Spears has a new tattoo — but she isn’t going to show us yet because she thinks it stinks. She shared a video of her getting her new ink on her right forearm, but says she has to fix it before letting her fans see it.

The Jonas Brothers are giving away a Tesla. Their Rob’s Backstage Popcorn brand launched the Kernel Catching Game on Instagram. The person who catches the most virtual kernels in their mouth wins.

Halsey cheekily celebrated the third anniversary of Manic by calling their third studio album a “crazy son of a b****.”  Halsey also shared throwback videos and photos of the Manic era. They are selling Manic merchandise so fans can also get in on the celebration in style.

Billie Eilish joined the shower game — she’s selling shower gel and body lotion that smell like her perfume. They’re vegan and cruelty free, just like all the other fragrance products on her online store.

Miley Cyrus‘ “Flowers” is reportedly her biggest radio debut of her career. She shared an infographic to her Instagram Story that states it was her most-added song in pop radio, thus her highest debut ever.

Bruce Gowers, the man behind Queen’s iconic video for “Bohemian Rhapsody,” passed away Sunday in California at the age of 82. Queen’s Brian May is now paying his respects.

“Bruce was, of course, the architect of our ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ video, and quite a few others as well,” Sir Brian said, according to BBC News. “He will be sadly missed in the rock community, and certainly never forgotten. We send deepest condolences to his family.”

In addition to “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Gowers directed videos for Rod Stewart’s “Hot Legs,” Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You,” Prince’s “1999,” Rush’s “Limelight,” The Rolling Stones’ “Fool To Cry” and more. He also won a Grammy for directing the video for Huey Lewis & The News’ 1985 hit “The Heart of Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

Besides music videos, Gowers directed the hit talent competition American Idol for nine seasons, for which he won an Emmy as Best Musical Variety Director in 2009. He also produced the Emmy Awards, People’s Choice Awards, MTV Movie Awards and MTV Music Video Awards, among other specials.

Neal Schon is not happy with reports that claim he confirmed Journey‘s original keyboardist, Gregg Rolie, would not be joining the upcoming Journey 50th anniversary tour, as he previously suggested.

Schon shared an article with the headline “Neal Schon Confirms Gregg Rolie Won’t Be Joining Journey ‘At This Moment,'” which was a reference to a comment Schon made to a fan on Twitter when asked about Rolie’s involvement. He had replied, “Not at this moment.” Schon reacted to the article by writing, “This is BS,” adding, “Please Stop with these Fake Blogs and Statements.”

“This is going out to all media of all your postings today that Gregg Rolie is out. FALSE – where would you get this information? Ex managers ? PR stunt again,” he later tweetedadding, “Currently have many trying to have a media war. It was a simple request from myself as the founder President of all Journey LLCs I wanted to include Gregg Rolie and met with resistance. That doesn’t mean anything at this point to me.”

The Journey 50th anniversary tour is set to kick off February 4 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and it’s pretty apparent it’s very important to Schon. “Obviously this means more to me than anyone else right now. 50 years of playing every show and recorded every album and co wrote many great songs,” he shared. “Honor it!”

A biopic on Michael Jackson is in the works, and it just nabbed an A-list director. Variety reports Antoine Fuqua, known for such flicks as Training Day, starring Denzel Washington, and 2013’s Olympus Has Fallen, has been tapped to direct the flick, Michael, which is expected to begin filming this year.

“The first films of my career were music videos, and I still feel that combining film and music are a deep part of who I am,” Fuqua shares. “For me, there is no artist with the power, the charisma, and the sheer musical genius of Michael Jackson. I was influenced to make music videos by watching his work – the first Black artist to play in heavy rotation on MTV.”

He notes, “His music and those images are part of my worldview, and the chance to tell his story on the screen alongside his music was irresistible.”

The film, which promises to delve into all aspects of the King of Pop’s life and career, will be produced by Graham King, who was responsible for the 2000 Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as the 2006 Oscar winner The Departed. It will be written by John Logan, who penned the script for the James Bond flick Skyfall

Shinedown debuts video for ‘Planet Zero’ single “Dead Don’t Die”
Atlantic

Shinedown has premiered the video for “Dead Don’t Die,” the next single off the band’s new album, Planet Zero.

The clip, which was previously teased last week, finds Brent Smith and company performing on an ornate golden stage, cut with footage of the individual band members surrounded by knives, grenades, bullets and broken glass.

In a statement, guitarist Zach Myers explains that “Dead Don’t Die” was inspired by Smith and “the people like him.”

“The strong-willed, refuse to give up, bend but never break human spirit,” Myers says. “I’ve seen [Smith] be at the bottom before, and pick himself up, and never stop trying to be better. I hope everyone feels something when they listen to it. I hope it makes you feel like you can run through a brick wall.”

You can watch the “Dead Don’t Die” video streaming now on YouTube.

Planet Zero, the seventh Shinedown album, was released last July. Its previous two singles, “Planet Zero” and “Daylight,” both hit #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.

Britney Spears jokes the best part of the rumored restaurant meltdown “was the pasta”

Britney Spears jokes the best part of the rumored restaurant meltdown “was the pasta”
Britney Spears jokes the best part of the rumored restaurant meltdown “was the pasta”
Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic

Britney Spears is laughing off reports she had a “meltdown” at an upscale California restaurant. Both she and husband Sam Asghari, as well as some restaurant staff, have shut down rumors about the alleged incident.

The pop princess is calling out TMZ for sharing the video they claimed was proof of her meltdown. The outlet reported she began talking gibberish to herself and caused Sam to angrily storm off.

The pair have since taken to their Instagram Story and cracked jokes about it. “All right, the best thing about the TMZ video to me personally … was the pasta,” Britney teased while using a filter that gave her cat ears.

Fans have since blasted TMZ, claiming the video’s description was inaccurate. They believe it shows Britney talking to a waiter before using a menu to shield her face because she realized someone was recording her.

A staff member later told Page Six that the “disruptor” was actually the person who took the video and “taunted” her by continually recording, even though she “was understandably upset.”

In other Britney news, she took a swipe at Justin Timberlake in a since-deleted Instagram post. She posted a throwback photo from 2001 of them wearing Los Angeles Knights jerseys and wrote in part, “When we used to shoot hoops TOGETHER … that’s when miracles happened.”

She also asked, “Why always cast me out ??? I’m equal as all !!!”

That post was quickly deleted.
