The Paramore frontwoman has announced a new batch of solo headlining U.S. tour dates, spanning from Sept. 3 in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Oct. 12 in Southaven, Mississippi.

Registration is open now through Saturday at 3 p.m. ET for a presale beginning May 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 14 at 10 a.m. local time.

The new dates follow Williams’ currently ongoing tour, during which she’s been performing her 2025 solo album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, in full along with select covers. In contrast, “The Hayley Williams Show” dates will feature songs from all three of Williams’ solo albums, as well “some exciting surprises,” a press release says.

Previously announced “The Hayley Williams Show” dates include two shows each at New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, which are sold out.

Billy Joel’s concert documentary The Last Play at Shea is getting a special outdoor screening as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Tribeca Festival.

The documentary, which debuted at the Tribeca Festival in 2010, will screen at Hudson Yards in New York City on June 4 at 7 p.m. ET. The screening is part of Tribeca at 25: Celebrating the Stories We Share, a series of outdoor screenings of films tied to the history of the festival.

The Last Play at Shea, directed by Paul Crowder, is centered around Joel’s two 2008 concerts at New York’s Shea Stadium, the final concerts at the home of the New York Mets before its demolition. In addition to footage of the concerts, the doc explored the history of the stadium and the team, and featured interviews with Joel.

The concerts also featured guest appearances by Tony Bennett, The Who’s Roger Daltrey, Paul McCartney and others.

The Tribeca Festival is taking place June 3-14 in New York City.

The star-studded lineup for Essence Festival 2026 has been divided into three nights.

Kicking things off the first night, July 3, is Cardi B, who will be making her Essence festival debut, along with Latto and Kehlani, who will give fans a taste of their new albums. The R&B band SZN4, formed on Netflix’s Building the Band, is also set to perform.

Saturday will feature a live R&B experience featuring performances by Brandy and Monica, Patti LaBelle, Leon Thomas and Josh Levi, along with a surprise guest who has yet to be revealed.

The third and final night will see George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic bring the Mothership back to New Orleans — a giant stage prop first introduced as part of the group’s live set in the mid-’70s. They will be joined by Big Boi, Scarface, Big Freedia, Nona Hendryx and Durand Bernarr. Babyface, Doug E. Fresh and Public Enemy are also on the lineup for that night.

The Greta Van Fleet plot thickens.

As previously reported, the “Highway Tune” rockers posted a video earlier in the week titled “Thanks for the Wild Ride,” which featured throwback footage from throughout the band’s career. Given the title and reflective nature of the video, some fans were worried that GVF was calling it quits, though others thought it could be an elaborate tease for new music to follow their most recent album, 2023’s Starcatcher.

Now, there’s a new hint posted in the form of a video on Greta’s Instagram Story, featuring a shot of guitarist Jake Kiszka opening a case and strumming an acoustic guitar. The clip is subtitled, “The trouble’s begun.”

Stay (highway) tuned.

You can add Riley Green, Keith Urban and Darius Rucker to the list of country artists who’ll be performing at the upcoming American Music Awards.

It will be Riley’s first time taking the AMA stage to sing, while Keith will do a song from his yacht rock record, Flow State, which drops June 12.

Darius won’t exactly have on his country hat, however, as Hootie & the Blowfish mark the 30th anniversary of their 1996 AMA win for pop/rock new artist by performing a medley of their biggest hits.

The fan-voted 52nd American Music Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, will air on CBS and Paramount+ on May 25 live from Las Vegas. Taylor Swift is this year’s leading nominee, with eight nods, followed by sombr, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Dean and Morgan Wallen with seven each.

Fan voting is now open via VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAs Instagram page. Voting closes Friday, except for two categories — social song of the year and tour of the year — which stays open through the first 30 minutes of the telecast.

L7 is once again calling it quits.

The “Pretend We’re Dead” rockers have announced The Last Hurrah farewell tour, kicking off Oct. 9 in Phoenix. The trek is currently scheduled through a Nov. 7 stop in Salt Lake City.

Presales begin Friday at 10 a.m. local time, and tickets go on sale to the general public on May 11 at 10 a.m. local time.

For the full list of dates and all ticket info, visit L7TheBand.com.

L7 was originally active from 1985 to 2001. They put out six studio albums during their original run, including 1992’s Bricks Are Heavy

In 2014, the lineup of vocalist Donita Sparks, guitarist Suzi Gardner, bassist Jennifer Finch and drummer Demetra Plakas reunited, and they put out another album, Scatter the Rats, in 2019. They also released a documentary called L7: Pretend We’re Dead.

“When L7 decided to release a documentary in 2015, we thought maybe we would take one last victory lap around the sun by playing some shows,” Sparks says in a statement. “Instead, that lap turned into eleven more years of touring, sweat, new music, and reconnecting with the fans who made this all possible in the first place.”

She continues, “Looking out into the crowd seeing longtime supporters rocking out next to a new generation of L7 fans has been the most powerful and humbling part of this chapter. We are deeply grateful and ready to give our audiences one last, loud, fun, and hopefully unforgettable night of rock & roll.”

Rapper Kodak Black arrested on drug trafficking charge

Rapper Kodak Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on a drug trafficking charge on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in Orange County, Fla. (Orange County Florida Corrections Dept.)

Rapper Kodak Black was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly trafficking MDMA in Florida last year, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The 28-year-old artist, born Bill Kapri, is awaiting a court hearing Thursday afternoon on his drug trafficking charge for the alleged incident that took place during a Nov. 24, 2025, police search in Orlando, Florida.

Officers responded to a 911 call about gunshots and searched vehicles that were in the vicinity of the incident, according to the police report.

Kapri approached the officers and observed them searching the vehicles, the report said. The affidavit also alleged police located a bag in the trunk containing 56 grams of cannabis in sealed marked cannabis bags and a metal container containing a pink pill substance.

The sheriff’s deputy alleged in the report that a “pink pill” that tested positive for MDMA was found during the search.

An officer also said he allegedly found a bag containing Kapri’s ID, money and a bottle of Promethazine Hydrochloride, according to the report.

The report included an image from Kodak Black’s Instagram page that had a pair of pink scissors and a pink bag, which investigators alleged was uncovered during the search.

“Everyone on scene was asked if the bag or its contents belonged to any of them, and all denied ownership, including Bill Kapri,” the report alleged.

“When Kapri was informed of the money in the bag, he attempted multiple times to have the money turned over to him, claiming it belonged to his business. Kapri, however, would not claim the bag or any of its contents,” the report said.

Kapri’s attorney did not immediately respond to ABC News for comment.

Neil Young is giving fans an update on his upcoming new album with his band The Chrome Hearts.

In a post on his Archives website, Young writes that he recently played the album, Second Song, for his label, Reprise Records.

“It was a celebration,” he says of the playback. “I have been doing this for about 60 years and am so thankful to still be doing it in these days.” He added, “The album is quite special to all of us who made it together.”

Young previously revealed that the album would feature five new songs, plus three other unreleased tracks that were 60 years old, but it appears that may have changed. A caption under a photo of Young and the band in the studio says the album’s made up of seven songs in total, “five written recently in 2026 and 2 unheard ones from 1964.”

“I can’t wait until you hear this album,” Young writes. “Music is good for the soul and this one is special.”

“So love to you all. I hope you are well and happy,” he concludes the post. “These days we have a lot to worry about but we still have much to celebrate. Families, love, life.”

Young didn’t say anything about when the album may be released. It will be the follow-up to 2025’s Talking to the Trees, his first album with The Chrome Hearts.

In the meantime, Young and The Chrome Hearts are releasing a live album, as time explodes, on May 29. It features performances recorded during The Love Earth Tour 2025 that hit Europe, the U.K., the U.S. and Canada.
