Jay-Z‘s 40/40 Club in New York City’s Flatiron District is no more. A message on the club’s official website says the flagship location is “currently closed but will reopen at a new location in February 2024.”
Eater New York reports the bar and lounge made the decision to close its original location at the end of July, following 20 years in business, spokesperson Andrea Thomas said.
Those in the New York City area still have the option to go to the Barclays Center location, which Jake Spitz, a spokesperson for the Brooklyn arena, says will remain open.
When it first arrived in 2010, Justin Bieber‘s video for “Baby” became the most-watched music video in YouTube history. It lost that title a while ago, but it’s just reached a new milestone: Billboard reports the clip has racked up 3 billion views.
In 2010, “Baby” earned the most-viewed title by notching more than 246 million views, beating the previous record holder, Lady Gaga‘s “Bad Romance.” It was also the most-disliked YouTube video until 2018, when that year’s YouTube Rewind video took the title.
“Baby,” featuring Ludacris, was the first single from Justin’s debut album, My World 2.0. “Baby” joins Justin’s 2015 video for “Sorry (PURPOSE: The Movement)” in the 3 billion club; that song has just under 3.7 billion views.
The most-viewed music video of all time on YouTube, with more than 8 billion views, is the original clip of “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. That video was filmed before Justin hopped on the song and helped it become one of the longest-running #1 hits of all time.
The 1998 Black Sabbath live album Reunion is being released on vinyl for the first time.
A three-LP collection will be released October 13. It includes remastered audio, as well as two bonus remixes.
The original Reunion was recorded in 1997 and featured the return of the original Sabbath lineup: frontman Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward. That lineup would stay together until 2006 before reuniting again in 2011, though Ward was out of the band by 2012. Sabbath played their final concert in 2017.
The Reunion reissue is one of many archival Sabbath pieces released since that final show, the most recent of which being June’s 40th anniversary deluxe edition of the 1983 Live Evil live album.
Switchfoot has shared a new version of the band’s song “On Fire,” recorded in collaboration with country artist Ingrid Andress.
The joint track, available now via digital outlets, will appear on the deluxe version of The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version), a rerecorded edition of Switchfoot’s breakout 2003 album celebrating the original record’s 20th anniversary.
“I am so honored and excited to be a part of this The Beautiful Letdown anniversary celebration album,” Andress says. “I used to sing ‘On Fire’ all the time as a teenager and always thought it was so beautiful, so the fact that [frontman] Jon [Foreman] asked me to join him and the band on this record is beyond special to me.”
The deluxe The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version) drops September 15. It also includes the previously released Jon Bellion version of “Meant to Live,” as well as collaborations with Twenty One Pilots‘ Tyler Joseph, The Jonas Brothers and OneRepublic‘s Ryan Tedder.

Nothing More has shared a live version of “Spirits,” the title track off the band’s 2022 album.
The performance was recorded at New York City’s Irving Plaza venue. You can watch it now streaming on YouTube.
The live version of “Spirits” will also appear on the upcoming deluxe version of the Spirits album, due out September 8. That same day, Nothing More will launch a U.S. headlining tour in Nashville.
Nothing More was also supposed to be on the bill for Godsmack and Staind‘s ongoing summer tour, but dropped off the trek after reports surfaced of a domestic incident involving frontman Jonny Hawkins dating back to December 2021. Hawkins pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor negligent vehicular injury and served three days in jail after running over his then-girlfriend with his car, which he said he did unknowingly.

Following the release of her latest EP, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (For Good), and with her 30th birthday just a month away, Kelsea Ballerini is on a journey of self-exploration.
“It’s exciting to be comfortable with continuing to navigate the exploration of my most authentic self,” she told The Tennessean in a new interview. “Maintaining overwhelming stats that cause crazy, exhausting pressure isn’t what actually matters. Achieving stereotypical standards of success can change your life. But, learning [what else can exist beyond that] is important, too.”
Part of coming to this realization, Kelsea said, has been overcoming imposter syndrome.
“It’s taken me a decade to defeat the imposter syndrome that makes me feel like people don’t know my music,” she said.
With Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (For Good), an expansion of the EP she released on Valentine’s Day, which chronicled her breakup with Morgan and moving on, Kelsea tapped into the crossroads of personal life and art.
“As much as I created it, this music loudly belongs to my fans — having this type of interplay with my fans has changed the expectations of my career,” she said.
Moving forward, Kelsea said she wants to continue adapting to whatever life throws at her.
“I used to be this flirty, fun and glittery person. Then, life put me in a different headspace,” she said. “Now I’m discovering who I am right now.”
