There’s never a dull moment when you’re with Lauren Alaina.
Recently, Lauren and her mom, Kristy, jumped on the bandwagon and participated in TikTok’s Egg Crack Challenge. Of course, Lauren didn’t miss a beat and shared the hilarious footage on TikTok.
“All yolks aside… this cracks me up,” Lauren captions the video. The clip opens with Kristy calling Lauren to join her in front of the camera. As soon as she arrives, Kristy asks, “Do you know how to tell whether this egg is bad or not?” Before Lauren could answer, she cracks the egg on her daughter’s forehead, leaving her jaw dropped and dumbfounded.
Lauren gets her revenge afterward when she cracks an egg on her mom’s forehead, too, as they both break out in laughter. “That’s mother abuse,” Kristy says in jest.
You can watch the prank in full on Lauren’s TikTok.
Alice Cooper is the latest rocker to share his thoughts on young people who question their gender at an early age.
During an interview with Stereogum, Cooper was asked about Dee Snider and Paul Stanley’s recent comments about gender-affirming care for kids, in which they suggested it was a “fad.” And he seems to agree.
“I’m understanding that there are cases of transgender, but I’m afraid that it’s also a fad, and I’m afraid there’s a lot of people claiming to be this just because they want to be that,” he says. “I find it wrong when you’ve got a six-year-old kid who has no idea. He just wants to play, and you’re confusing him telling him, ‘Yeah, you’re a boy, but you could be a girl if you want to be.'”
He adds, “I mean, if you identify as a tree … I’m going, ‘Come on! What are we in, a Kurt Vonnegut novel?’ It’s so absurd, that it’s gone now to the point of absurdity.”
Cooper also takes issue with “the whole woke thing,” suggesting it’s become “laughable.”
“If anybody was trying to make a point on this thing, they turned it into a huge comedy,” he says. “I don’t know one person that agrees with the woke thing. I don’t know one person.”
He also shares his worries about transgender people in public bathrooms. “A guy can walk into a woman’s bathroom at any time and just say, ‘I just feel like I’m a woman today’ and have the time of his life in there,” he says. “Somebody’s going to get raped, and the guy’s going to say, ‘Well, I felt like a girl that day, and then I felt like a guy.’ Where do you draw this line?”

Last week, Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell told ABC Audio that the whole group was going to gather in California the weekend of August 19 to celebrate Howie Dorough‘s 50th birthday, which actually falls on August 22. Now, you can check out photos of the Boys celebrating the occasion.
Howie posted a carousel of pics on Instagram, including one that shows all the group members and their wives together dressed in white, followed by individual pictures of each Boy and his wife. From the photos, it seems like the weekend included pickleball, golf and fun by the water.
“So this is 50,” Howie wrote. “Looking back, the past decade has been filled with so many milestones, and I am forever grateful for everything and everyone that has helped get me here. Looking forward, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the memories to be made with my boys, my wife, my family, my band mates and my team.”
He added, “Thank you to my friends and family for an unforgettable birthday celebration. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to ring in a new decade.”
Howie’s bandmate Kevin Richardson wrote in the comments, “Such a fun weekend! It only gets sweeter my brother! Love you!” Nick Carterreposted the photos and wrote, “had so much fun with the boys and our families and friends,” and *NSYNC‘s Joey Fatone chimed in with, “Happy bday howie !!”
The group will reconvene with their fans in April of 2024 for Backstreet’s Back at the Beach, a destination concert and event that will see them take over the Moon Palace Cancun in Mexico for four days of music and activities.
Jermaine Dupri plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his record label, So So Def, in a big way.
The Grammy-winning super producer tapped a few music legends for the So So Def Festival, a multiday event celebrating all things hip-hop and R&B.

Lou Gramm doesn’t sound at all happy that his former band, Foreigner, which he fronted until 2003, is not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He believes the omission is personal.
“It’s not anything to do with our music or the amount of hits or notoriety or anything like that,” Gramm shares in an interview with The Rock Shop With Ralph. “It’s a personal thing that we’re not in there. It’s a personal vendetta between the gentleman who owns Rolling Stone and Mick,”referring to Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones.
The Rolling Stone owner he’s likely referring to is Jann Wenner, who cofounded the mag and is also the cofounder of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In reality, Wenner no longer owns Rolling Stone, having sold his remaining interest in the mag in 2017.
Regarding the band’s snub, Gramm notes, “It’s very juvenile, the whole thing, and I don’t think it’s gonna get any better. I think it’s gonna stay that way. I think we’re being made an example of.”
Foreigner has been eligible for the Hall of Fame since 2002, but to this day have never been nominated, and Gramm thinks it’s a travesty.
Asked whether he thinks they deserves to be in the Hall, Gramm declares, “Of course I do,” although he notes it should be “the original Foreigner” as opposed to later lineups. He adds, “I put an exclamation point at the end of that.”
Tim McGraw‘s been sober for 15 years now, and he’s thanking his “rock” and wife, Faith Hill, for that.
“She’s always been my rock. She’s my rock in everything that I do. I don’t think I could stand up straight without leaning on her in everything that I do,” Tim tells Yahoo Entertainment in a recent interview, before reflecting further on his sobriety journey.
“It is not a linear path,” says Tim. “There’s setbacks and there’s times you move forward and do great, and there’s times you set back. And that’ll probably [be] a process throughout the rest of my life and something that I have to be diligent about and really continue to work at.”
“I think [‘Hey Whiskey’] is helpful in that regard,” Tim adds as he references a song off his upcoming album. “It was very cathartic to me, in a lot of ways.”
Tim’s new album, Standing Room Only, arrives Friday, August 25, and is available for preorder and presave now.
On album release day, Tim will perform on ABC’s Good Morning America as part of the 2023 GMA Summer Concert Series.

As Beyoncé‘s nears the end of her Renaissance World Tour, the singer put in a special request to fans attending shows taking place during Virgo season: She’d like concertgoers to dress in their “most fabulous silver fashions.”
“Virgo season is upon us,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22!”
Bey added that they’ll “surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy.”
“Virgo season together in the house of chrome. See you there!” she said.
The request comes few weeks before the Grammy winner will celebrate her 42nd birthday on September 4 and months after she kicked off the World Tour in Europe.
Beyoncé’s Instagram quickly turned into a photo book of her tour outfits after the star began sharing each night’s dazzling looks to her official page.
