Duran Duran fans are getting new music soon. The band just announced their new single, “Danse Macabre,” is dropping August 30.
The cover art for the song features a black background with a red skeleton holding drum sticks, with what looks like an hourglass at his feet.
So far there’s no word on whether the track is the first single off a new album, but back in March they did confirm “a special new music project is in the works, set for release later this year.” They also revealed that their former bandmate Andy Taylor, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, would be playing guitar “on a few tracks.”
Duran Duran is currently on their Future Past tour. The trek hits Sacramento, California, on August 24. A complete list of dates can be found at duranduran.com.

Looks like Justin Timberlake doesn’t want to be a Man of the Woods anymore: He’s put his 127-acre property in Franklin, Tennessee, on the market for $10 million.
According to Realtor.com, Justin bought the property, located 22 miles south of Nashville, for $4 million in 2015, so he stands to make a huge profit. You’ll have to wait a bit longer to hear Bring Me the Horizon‘s upcoming Post Human: NeX GEn album.
In an Instagram post, frontman Oli Sykes shares that the record has been delayed from its initially announced September 15 release date.
“Unforeseen circumstances rendered us unable to complete the record to the standard we’d be happy with,” Sykes writes. “I was hoping despite the setbacks we could pull it off in time for you guys but there’s still so many little details I want to be perfect and until it’s nailed I’m just not willing to give it to you guys.”
A new release date has yet to be announced, though Sykes assures fans that “it’s close.”

So far, Doja Cat has released two singles from her upcoming album, Scarlet: “Attention” and “Paint the Town Red.” While we still don’t have a release date for the album, the singer has teased the release of … something next week.
On Instagram on August 23, she posted a silhouette of herself wearing what looks like a bodysuit and devil horns. The post is captioned “9.1.23.” It’s not clear if that’s when she’ll release the album, another single or something else. Her Scarlet Tour kicks off October 31 in San Francisco, with opening acts Ice Spice and Doechii.
Meanwhile, Doja seemingly addressed all the attention that’s paid to what she says on social media in an Instagram Story on August 22, which was captured by Pop Crave.
In one message on her Story, she posted a quote she ascribed to Lady Gaga, which read, “When you die, nobody is going to give a f*** what you tweeted.” Another message came from Doja: “All that matters to me is that my fans know who I am and the others are stuck trying to figure out.”
Whenever Scarlet is released, it’ll be the follow-up to her smash 2021 album, Planet Her, which spun off five hit singles.

A cryptic ad posted in London’s Hackney Gazette appears to be teasing a new album from TheRolling Stones. It promoted something called Hackney Diamonds, with the ad’s message featuring several Stones song titles, leading to speculation that an album announcement is coming.
Well, the editor of the paper has confirmed the ad was taken out by the band.
“It’s very exciting to have such a massive band announcing their new album in our papers, especially in such a cryptic manner,” Simon Murfitt, senior editor of both theHackney Gazette and Islington Gazette, said, confirming the ad was taken out by Universal Music Group. “I have already had several emails requesting back copies and no doubt the papers will become collectors’ items for music fans.”
He added, “I’ve always said The Rolling Stones have good taste when it comes to their local news and this just proves it!”
If the speculation is true, the album will be The Stones’ first record since 2016’s Blue and Lonesome, which was an album of blues covers.
