Yung Bleu has unveiled the music video for “Angel Dust,” one of the songs from his latest album, Love Scars II.

In the new visual, Bleu sings to a love interest who, after catching him cheating, attempts to leave but finds herself back in the arms of her lover.

The video arrives ahead of the singer’s Love Scars Tour, which is set to kick off in San Francisco on August 24.

The concert series is scheduled to make stops in major U.S. cities, including Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia and New York, before wrapping in Chicago on September 30.

Yung Bleu recently made headlines after reports surfaced that he kicked an artist who supported rapper Boosie BadAzz off his tour.

“This n**** Bleu done kicked T-Rell off the tour ‘cus he got posted on my IG for saying my album was the truth,” Boosie said in a video on Instagram.

T-Rell, a Kansas-based rapper and singer on the rise, responded on his Instagram account, writing that he was “kicked off tour cause Boosie posted me on IG and I payed homage to a man that put me on !!”

This all seems to stem from a reportedly failed business deal between Boosie, Empire Records and Universal. Boosie claims he was left out of signing conversations the labels had with Bleu, an artist Boosie is known to have discovered and signed to his label Badazz Music Syndicate.

Taylor Swift loves cats, so she might be upset about the latest TikTok trend fans have come up with: Using her song “August” as a soundtrack, they pick up their cats — or other pets — and spin them around the room.

Thousands of videos have been made featuring this trend, but the British animal charity Cats Protection warns fans that all that spinning around may be harmful for your beloved kitty.

Daniel Warren-Cummings, the central behavior officer of the charity, told Metro.co.uk, “At no point should an animal deliberately be put in a position to feel fear, anxiety, frustration or experience pain for the benefit of human entertainment.”

“Cats in particular will experience extreme stress by being swung or spun around and it could even cause them physical harm,” he adds. “In the videos …the cats are showing clear signs of distress. Even more disappointingly, these are being described as cute or funny in the comments section by people who appear to count themselves as cat lovers.”

He notes that even if the spinning only lasts a few seconds, it’s “unethical,” adding if you do it in the U.K., there may be consequences.

“Causing a cat unnecessary suffering is a criminal offense under the Animal Welfare Act 2006,” he warns.

So jam out to “August” as much as you want, just put your kitty down while you do it.

So is one of my favorite albums of all time, and it was one of my dad’s favorite albums of all time.”

In 2015, Whitesnake released The Purple Album, which celebrated frontman David Coverdale’s three years in the band Deep Purple. Well, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Coverdale’s Deep Purple debut, Whitesnake is now reissuing the album.

The Purple Album: Special Gold Edition, a newly remixed and remastered version of the album, will be released October 13. It will contain plenty of extras, including previously unreleased recordings, one of which is the four-song demo that helped Coverdale land the Deep Purple gig.

Coverdale says he found the original demo amongst his late mother’s belongings. “I had no idea my Mam had the tape,” he says. “For me, to open my Mam’s trunk of personal items, 30 years after her passing, was a gift from Heaven.”

Deep Purple is giving fans the first taste of the reissue with the digital release of a live version of the 1974 track “Burn.”

The Purple Album: Special Gold Edition will be released as a two-CD/Blu-ray set, which includes concert videos from The Purple Tour, official music videos and more, including commentary from Coverdale. It’s also being released on two-LP gold vinyl. Both formats are available for preorder now.

Coverdale joined Deep Purple in 1973 when he was just 21. He recorded three albums with them, 1974’s Burn and Stormbringer and 1975’s Come Taste The Band, and was eventually inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the group. He left the band in 1976, and two years later, formed Whitesnake.

Carlos Santana has seemingly shared his thoughts on the trans community during a speech at one of his concerts.

Video posted to social media, which Consequence reports was from a recent show in Atlantic City, New Jersey, shows the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer telling his audience, “a woman is a woman and a man is a man.”

“When God made you and me, before we came out of the womb, you know who you are and what you are,” Santana said. “Later on, when you grow up, you see things, and you start believing that you could be something that sounds good, but you know it ain’t right. Because a woman is a woman and a man is a man. That’s it.”

He adds, “Whatever you wanna do in the closet, that’s your business. I’m okay with that.”

In the speech, Santana also described comedian David Chapelle as his “brother” and made a gesture indicating how close they were. Chapelle has come under fire in the past for making what many felt were anti-trans jokes in his standup routines.

One person who was at the show told Consequence that Santana’s remarks were “very disturbing and seemed to come out of nowhere.”

The report comes just one day after Alice Cooper made some controversial remarks in an interview with Stereogum, saying he was concerned that being transgender was “a fad.”

Carrie Underwood‘s been opening for Guns N’ Roses on several of their stateside dates, and she’s enjoying every minute of it, be it onstage or offstage.

“I think the things I look forward to most are obviously, like watching their show (laughs) and being around them, but it’s just such a fun vibe,” shares Carrie. “Their fans are absolutely incredible and so supportive and just have been so much fun [from] everything that I’ve seen from them.”

As a performer, Carrie’s also enjoying changing up her set list from her usual country tours.

Autumn is here: Ed Sheeran to release ‘Autumn Variations’ on September 29
Gingerbread Man Records

Ed Sheeran has been telling us that “autumn is coming” for weeks now, but we finally know when it’ll arrive.

Ed’s new album Autumn Variations, produced by The National‘s Aaron Dessner, will be out September 29. This confirms what fans have believed all along based on the clues about the album’s title and release date. The album is being released on his own label, Gingerbread Man Records.

In a length statement, Ed explains, “Last autumn…I found that my friends and I were going through so many life changes … when I went through a difficult time at the start of last year, writing songs helped me understand my feelings and come to terms with what was going on.”

“When I learned about my friend’s different situations, I wrote songs, some from their perspectives, some from mine, to capture how they and I viewed the world at that time,” he adds. “There were highs of falling in love and new friendships among lows of heartbreak, depression, loneliness and confusion.”

Ed explains that he took inspiration from the composer Edward Elgar‘s Enigma Variations, made up of 14 different variations on a single theme, each inspired by a different friend.

As for Dessner’s involvement, Ed says, “When I recorded Subtract with [him], we clicked immediately. We wrote and recorded non-stop and this album was born out of that partnership. I feel he has captured the feeling of autumn so wonderfully in his sonics and I hope everyone loves it as much as I do.”

The album will be released just days after Ed wraps up his Mathematics world tour in Los Angeles on September 23.

Here’s the track list for Autumn Variations:

“Magical”
“England”
“Amazing”
“Plastic Bag”
“Blue”
“American Town”
“That’s On Me”
“Page”
“Midnight”
“Spring”
“Punchline”
“When Will I Be Alright”
“The Day I Was Born”
“Head > Heels”
