Hayley Williams is turning a corner after dealing with a lung infection that cut Paramore‘s U.S. tour short.

In a post to the band’s Discord channel, Williams writes, “I can hardly believe I don’t cough all day and night anymore.”

“My stomach is still f***** from 10 kinds of medication,” she adds. “I’m just happy to be resting more.”

Amid her sickness, Williams says she watched a lot of movies and TV, and has, as she puts it, “become, once again, chronically online.”

“For me, it always starts out sweet,” Williams writes. “I love to see photos or random anecdotes from people who’ve come out to our shows … I love the stupid inside jokes and even the sticky parasocial connection. And when I am not para-lurking, I am watching dog videos or watching people I don’t know organize their s***.”

“But I also see lots of news, especially from back home,” she continues. “It’s literally always sad or rage-inducing. Never positive. Depressing.”

Paramore is set to return to the live stage in October for a performance during The New Yorker Festival in New York City, followed by a trip to Australia and New Zealand in November.

“Now that the bulk of our touring for the year is over, I’m hoping to dive head first into creating some better routines,” Williams writes. “[Drummer] Zac [Farro] and [guitarist] Taylor [York] and I also just want to get back to making things. We’ve been craving that for a while now.”

Paramore released their latest album, This Is Why, in February.

Dolly Parton’s new “Let It Be” cover, reuniting The Beatles‘ Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, has made an impact on the charts.

The song has debuted on several Billboard charts, including the Rock Digital Songs Sales chart at #2, the Country Digital Song Sales chart at #15 and the Digital Songs Sales Chart at #22.

While both Beatles have had several Billboard hits throughout their careers, with the group and without, this is the first time McCartney and Starr have shared credit on a Billboard entry without the other members of the band.

Parton’s star-studded “Let It Be” cover also features Peter Frampton and Mick Fleetwood. It will appear on Dolly’s upcoming album, Rockstar, which drops November 17. It is available for preorder now.

On the heels of releasing her latest single, Selena Gomez has revealed that she’s on the mend after breaking her hand.

Over the weekend, a fan account on Instagram said that Selena’s new track, “Single Soon,” is predicted to enter the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and urged fans to buy and stream the song. However, the pop star wasn’t too worried about whether her song made it on the charts.

In a comment, the Only Murders in the Building star wrote, “Broke my hand and had surgery. I don’t care about selling anything. I’m just happy to make music with my friends.”

It’s unclear how and when Selena underwent surgery.

Good new for fans of the Power universe — Starz has announced Power Book III: Raising Kanan will be hitting TV screens again soon.

The hit show, based on the original Power series created by Courtney A. Kemp, and starring Omari Hardwick as Ghost and rapper 50 Cent as Kanan Stark, will return for season 3 on December 1.

Miley Cyrus walked her mom, Tish Cyrus, down the aisle at her recent wedding to Prison Break star Dominic Purcell, and Miley couldn’t be happier about their romance.

“To see my mom this happy and in love is very emotional for me,” she tells Vogue. “Dom and my mom share the sweetest, most genuine love. It’s almost like it’s for the first time, which is so fitting for my mom who is such a young soul. Since they met, they both started aging in reverse. Somehow, my mom has gotten even more beautiful.”

She added, “The day was as special and magical as they are. To stand beside my mom and give her away to Dom is a moment I will cherish the rest of my life.”

Miley, who helped Purcell plan the engagement last November, told Vogue that her involvement in that moment, as well as at the wedding, was like a role reversal for the two of them.

“My whole life my mom has been behind the scenes. She was always the one getting me ready for big days, starting with cheerleading competitions, then eventually on sets or backstage before a performance,” Miley said.

“She has never stopped celebrating me and has been so supportive of my decisions. I feel honored to be that person for her, now that I’m older.”
