Luke Grimes has released “Burn,” the latest preview of his forthcoming EP, Pain Pills Or Pews. Luke penned the track alongside Randy Montana and Josh Thompson. “‘Burn’ came from a simple classic rock style melody and the idea of running headfirst into a heartbreak, almost asking for it. The song always had a bit of Tom Petty vibe as he’s always been a big influence for me,” shares the Yellowstone star. Pain Pills Or Pews is available for presave now.

Emerging country singer/songwriter Dzaki Sukarno has dropped his debut EP, Love Like 90’s Country. The neotraditional three-song set was solely penned by Dzaki and features the nostalgic title track. “My EP talks about the happy & the painful times you experience while searching for that one love,” says Dzaki.

Watch Olivia Rodrigo blow a young fan’s mind on ‘Recess Therapy’

Geffen/Interscope

Back in 2021, a young girl named Liv — short for Olivia — went viral for singing Olivia Rodrigo‘s song “good 4 u” on the web series Recess Therapy. But in the latest episode of the show, Liv comes face to face with her idol in the flesh.

Liv is asked by the host, Julian, if it’s OK if someone else joins the interview. That “someone” turns out to be Olivia, and you can see Liv’s head explode — metaphorically — as she realizes who sat down next to her.

Liv asks if she can come to Olivia’s concert; when Olivia says, “I have a ticket with your name on it,” the little girl asks incredulously, “You do?” Guess she’d never heard that expression before.

But the cutest part is when Julian asks Liv what she thinks of Olivia’s new album, GUTS.

“It makes me, like, stronger every time I listen to it,” Liv says. “Like women and girls can do anything that they dream to. I feel like I achieve more things than I would’ve done without listening to it.”

Olivia replies, “I’m tearing up … that is the sweetest, most powerful thing ever. I’m just so happy that my music makes you feel that way. That is just everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more.”

Liv tells Olivia that when she first encountered her music, she thought to herself, “This will be the best artist in the world and I bet when I’m older, I’ll meet her.”

With more than three decades of dropping culture-defining music under his belt, Lil Wayne is showing no signs of slowing down.

The iconic rapper announced he’ll soon drop a new project titled Tha Fix Before Tha VI.

While it’s unclear if the music update means a new mixtape, EP or full-studio album, what many are concluding is that, given its title, the project will most likely arrive ahead of Tha Carter VI.

In August 2022, Wayne confirmed rumors he was working on the long-awaited Tha Carter follow-up, saying in a clip shared by XXL Magazine, “I’m not sure if you heard, but Carter VI is on the way.”

Lil Wayne also announced a new Tyga x YG collab, “Brand New,” expected out Wednesday, September 27.

Olivia Newton-John’s ‘Totally Hot’ being rereleased in November

The late Olivia Newton-John‘s hit 1978 album, Totally Hot, is getting a rerelease.

Totally Hot was the star’s first album to be RIAA-certified Platinum; that particular award had just been established in 1976. It’s no surprise that Totally Hot reached that sales mark, since it was released five months after the movie Grease made Olivia a global superstar. In fact, she appeared on the cover in a tight black leather outfit, mirroring her character Sandy’s transformation in the film.

Totally Hot reached the top 10 on the album chart and spun off two hits: the sultry #3 single “A Little More Love” — in which she sang, “Where did my innocence go?” — and “Deeper Than the Night,” which reached #11.

The rerelease of the album on November 17 will see it return to vinyl for the first time in decades; it’ll also be available on CD and on digital platforms. The vinyl LP comes in two options: neon coral red vinyl and black vinyl. All versions of the album are available now for preorder.

Beyoncé fan finally attends Renaissance show after airline couldn’t accommodate wheelchair

Parkwood Entertainment

After Jon Hetherington took to TikTok with a heartfelt video about missing out on a Beyoncé show due to airline issues with his wheelchair, he finally got a chance to see — and even hug — the singer.

In a now-viral clip, captioned “Ableism strikes again,” Hetherington shared his experience with an unnamed airline that couldn’t accommodate him because his wheelchair was “apparently 4 inches too tall to be loaded on the plane.” That caused him to miss his flight to Seattle, making his 25-year wait to see Queen Bey an even longer journey.

But once the video reached the Beyhive, the hardcore Beyoncé fanbase stepped in.

Messages filled the man’s comment section — many of which offered words of encouragement, as well as their own tickets to the show; most pointed to the need to get Beyoncé and/or her team involved.

And they did get involved. And he did finally get to see one of his favorite artists.

Hetherington attended a Renaissance show in Houston after representatives for Beyoncé reached out to him, according to The New York Times. Not only did he get a floor seat, they arranged for his travel, including the flight, says The Times.

Sharing a picture of himself at the concert, Hetherington posted about the special moment on Instagram, writing, “Beyhive, you made this happen, you pushed and tagged like the internet has never seen.”

“Welcome to the RENAISSANCE,” he added.

In another image posing alongside Tina Knowles, Hetherington thanked her daughter, “the Queen,” for “those words you said and the hugs you gave.”

Amid his travel issues, Hetherington shared another TikTok video, delving deeper into problems he encounters flying with a wheelchair in an effort to bring awareness to people with disabilities.
