Old Dominion‘s hotly anticipated new album, Memory Lane, has arrived.

The expansive 18-track project follows their EP of the same title and includes collaborations with Megan Moroney (“Can’t Break Up Now”) and Blake Shelton (“Ain’t Got a Worry”).

“We always knew this was going to be a full album, but we wanted to give our fans the opportunity to absorb it completely,” says lead singer Matthew Ramsey.

“Over the years, we’ve developed a conversation with fans, bad days, big moments, I’d like to think our songs make both better. We wanted to make an album that takes our songs and looks a little deeper into what happens between two people,” he adds of the new record. “Just because it’s deep, though, it doesn’t mean the music can’t feel good.”

Memory Lane was first introduced in January with its chart-topping title track. The band’s new single, “Can’t Break Up Now,” is currently making its way up the country charts.

Here’s the full track list for Memory Lane:

“Stay Drunk”
“A Million Things”
“Memory Lane”
“Different About You”
“Can’t Break Up Now” with Megan Moroney
“I Should Have Married You”
“Both Sides of the Bed”
“How Good Is That”
“Some Horses”
“Easy To Miss”
“Sleep Without Drinking”
“Beautiful Sky”
“Love Drunk and Happy”

Pink brought some extra rock firepower to her Summer Carnival show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 5.

According to Billboard, the “So What” star’s set featured surprise appearances by Alanis Morissette and Pat Benatar.

Morissette joined Pink for a joint performance of the ’90s classic “You Oughta Know,” off the former’s Diamond-certified album, Jagged Little Pill. Fittingly, the onstage collaboration came just after Pink played her song “Just Like a Pill.”

“You know ‘Just Like a Pill,’ but what about Jagged Little Pill?” Pink asked the crowd in introducing Alanis.

Pink later welcomed Benatar to the stage to perform a mash-up of their respective songs “Just Like Fire” and “Heartbreaker.” The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer has been opening for Pink’s tour alongside her husband and longtime musical partner Neil Giraldo; the LA show marked their final date on the trek.

Along with the rocking collaborations, Pink also brought out a cover of “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You,” which has been performed by Led Zeppelin and Joan Baez.

Pink’s Summer Carnival tour concludes October 9 in Phoenix. She’ll then launch a tour supporting her new TRUSTFALL album October 12 in Sacramento, California.

Latto talks new music, brand partnerships and living out her childhood rap dreams

Nate Hurtsellers

If you were one of the many who tuned in to The Rap Game‘s first season in 2016, then you’re probably aware of the star quality Latto‘s possessed at a young age. After winning the show but later declining a deal with So So Def, she went on to forge her own path, becoming one of the top female hip-hop artists in music today.

She told ABC Audio that producing hit records, climbing the charts and earning good money along the way has been a dream come true.

“It’s so surreal,” she said. “Everybody don’t know my story … But, I’ve been rapping since eight years old, so all this is really just a dream for me.”

She added, “To be able to live it out every day, support me, my family, my loved ones off of music now is definitely a blessing.”

Also a dream: the fact that her label, RCA, lets her have “complete creative control” over her music.

With it, she’s “definitely loading up on” and “having fun” with music right now, with recording sessions in her hometown Atlanta, Los Angeles and Miami.

Other ventures Latto’s been enjoying are the brand partnerships she’s added to her resume.

For her latest, a Halls collaboration, she teamed up with the cough drop company for their “Rapper Wrote this Wrapper” campaign where, for the first time in 10 years, Halls refreshed the old phrases on their wrappers with more contemporary sayings written by Latto.

“Halls is O.G. back in the day,” she said. “We’ve always used Halls as kids. So I think it just always resonated with me.”

Latto said that while the rebrand appeals to the new generation with phrases like “Feeling good, feeling lit” and “Keep it 100,” Halls is still a product for everyone.

Guns N’ Roses fans in Phoenix, Arizona, are going to have to wait a little longer to rock out with the band. Ticketmaster reports that the group’s October 11 show at Chase Field has been postponed.

While no reason for the postponement is listed on the site, the Arizona Diamondbacks are likely to blame, as they are set to play an MLB playoff game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Chase Field that night.

So far, the show has not been rescheduled, but fans are being urged to hold on to their tickets so they can be used on the new date.

Next up, Guns N’ Roses take the stage at Power Trip on Friday, October 6, in Indio, California. A complete list of Guns N’ Roses dates can be found at gunsnroses.com.

Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, is reportedly doing better after being hospitalized with a bacterial infection.

People reports Jamie had been “severely ill,” but he’s since been moved to an infectious disease outpatient facility where he is recovering.

Spears’ father has been battling a series of health problems in recent years. In November 2018, he was hospitalized for 28 days in Las Vegas, where he underwent emergency surgery. Two months later, Britney postponed her Vegas residency, Domination, due to her father’s health, revealing that he almost died. She never rescheduled the residency.

Of course, Britney’s relationship with her father has been strained ever since he put her under a conservatorship in 2008, which she was finally freed from in November 2021. She is ready to tell her side of the story and will share what happened to her in a new biography, The Woman in Me, dropping October 24.

Bruce Springsteen has announced his 2024 plans.

In late September, The Boss pushed all of his remaining 2023 dates with the E Street Band to 2024 in order to give himself more time to recover from peptic ulcer disease. Well, now disappointed fans have something to look forward to, because he’s just revealed he’ll be returning to the stage starting in March of next year.

The rescheduled shows kick off March 19 in Phoenix, Arizona, and run through September 13 in Baltimore, Maryland. So far, postponed Canadian dates have not been rescheduled, but they are expected to be announced next week.

All previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates, and fans who can not make the new shows will receive refunds. Info on getting refunds can be found at the official site where the tickets were sold.

A complete list of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band 2024 dates can be found at brucepsringsteen.net.

Springsteen and the E Street Band played their last show on September 3 in The Boss’ home state of New Jersey. He then announced the postponement of a handful of dates so he could focus on his health, but later pushed the whole tour to 2024 to give himself more time to recover.

‘Queen The Greatest Live’ – Episode 36: “Iconic Venues”

‘Queen The Greatest Live’ – Episode 36: “Iconic Venues”
Queen Production Ltd.

Queen is taking a look at some of their favorite performance venues over the years in episode 36 of their weekly YouTube series, Queen The Greatest Live.

“Iconic Venues” has guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor reflecting on the places they’ve played in their over 50-year career. May shares, “Madison Square Garden in New York was top of the list, that was a mythical place for us.”

For Taylor, the Forum in Los Angeles is a particular favorite. He notes, “They’ve got something magical there. And of course, the audiences are great.”

In 1981, Queen graduated to stadiums playing their first huge gig in South America.

“We went down there with jumbo jets full of gear to play these football stadiums, not knowing if we would sell them out,” May says. “Suddenly, instead of 18,000 people in an arena, we’re playing outside to 100,000 or even more, 150,000 in the case of some of those places in Argentina and Brazil”

But those big audiences were never really a problem for Queen. “I think our music, we wanted it to be big and so I think we could project it and make it work in big places,” Taylor says. “I mean, other people have been good at it as well. I think it was particularly suited to us.”

Speaking of playing big venues, Queen just launched their Rhapsody Tour of North America. The show hits Toronto on Sunday, October 8. A complete list of dates can be found at queenonline.com.

On This Day, October 6, 2020: Legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen dies at age 65

On This Day, October 6, 2020…

Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen, considered one of the most influential guitarists in rock, passed away at age 65 following a long battle with cancer.

Eddie and his brother, Alex, co-founded Van Halen in the early ’70s, with Eddie on guitar and Alex on drums. Joined by frontman David Lee Roth and bassist Michael Anthony, they released their self-titled debut in 1977.

In the ’80s, they were one of the most successful rock acts in America, with their album 1984 being their most successful release, selling more than 10 million copies, thanks to four hit singles, including their first and only #1, “Jump.”

Roth left Van Halen in 1985 and was replaced by Sammy Hagar, with whom the group went on to have five #1 albums: 1986’s 5150, 1988’s OU812, 1991’s For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, 1995’s Balance and 1996’s compilation, Best of Volume 1.

Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda releases new solo song, “Already Over”
Warner Records

Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda has released a new solo song called “Already Over.”

“‘Already Over’ came to me as I was sitting with my favorite guitar in my hands — the same guitar I used on songs from ‘What I’ve Done’ to ‘In My Head,'” says Shinoda, who played every instrument on the track. “There was a familiar DNA to the song that I think Linkin Park fans will recognize. For me, it creates a bridge from the past to a blurry but exciting future.”

You can listen to “Already Over” now via digital outlets and watch its accompanying visualizer streaming now on YouTube.

“Already Over” follows the March release of “In My Head,” which Shinoda recorded alongside vocalist Kailee Morgue for the Scream VI soundtrack.

Shinoda released his debut solo album, Post Traumatic, in 2018. In 2020, he put out a trio of mostly instrumental albums as part of his Dropped Frames series.
