Although he’s currently serving a 10-year prison sentence, Tory Lanez plans to continue dropping new music.

Gearing up for the release of the Alone at Prom Deluxe, which is expected on November 17, the Canadian rapper unveiled the album cover art Monday.

With the graphic, Lanez paid tribute to model Alexa Alita, who, before her apparent passing earlier this year, starred as the main girl in music videos for the original Alone at Prom album.

“Alexa I Told You, Your Legacy Would Live On Forever,” the rapper captioned his post on Instagram.

In a September post, Lanez penned a sweet message to Alita, writing of “a close friend” who “revolutionized Alone At Prom.”

“We laughed , we worked, we partied, and shared many deep conversations and moments together,” Lanez said. “I should have been there to stop this from happening.”

He added, “It hurts more that I was not able to say my final goodbyes at your Ceremony of Life, but I Promise to make your legacy live on. You meant so much to so many of us.”

Lanez first announced the upcoming expanded album by way of a phone message sent from prison in which he opened up about persevering in the harsh prison conditions, as well as all the other disadvantages.

“My head has always been held high … And I want y’all to know I’m in great spirits,” Lanez said before revealing he’d soon deliver Alone at Prom Deluxe.

The Beatles are back on the charts. The legendary band’s new tune, “Now and Then,” debuted at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week.

The song, which debuted at #1 on the U.K. charts, uses vocals John Lennon recorded on a demo in the late ’70s, along with guitar the late George Harrison recorded in the mid-’90s, and new recordings from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

With the new hit, The Beatles extend their record for the most Hot 100 top 10s among groups, now with 35. The tune is now the band’s 72nd Hot 100 hit, which is the most hits among all bands who play their own instruments.

The last time The Beatles were in the Hot 100 top 10 was in 1996 with “Free as a Bird,” making the new chart placement the longest break between top 10s for any act with sole billing, at 27 years, 10 months and two weeks.

The new song’s #7 debut comes 59 years, nine months and three weeks after The Beatles’ debut “I Want To Hold Your Hand” became their first charting single, landing at #1. Elton John previously nabbed the record in September 2022 when “Hold Me Closer,” his duet with Britney Spears, debuted in the top 10 51 years, seven months and three weeks after his first hit, “Your Song.”

The Beatles have now also had a Hot 100 top 10 hit in four decades — the ’60s, ’70s, ’90s and 2020s — making them only the 13th act to do so. They are also only the second band to reach such a milestone, following Aerosmith.

*NSYNC reportedly reuniting to celebrate release of ‘Trolls Band Together’

One of the drawbacks of the *NSYNC reunion was that due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, the guys weren’t allowed to talk much about Trolls Band Together, the movie for which they recorded “Better Place.” But now that the strike is over, TMZ reports the group is getting together for a press appearance.

According to TMZ, Justin TimberlakeJC ChasezLance BassChris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone are going to attend a premiere event for the film in Hollywood on Wednesday. Apparently it’s a last-minute thing, but the studio releasing the film, Universal, wants to use the reunion to drum up buzz for the movie, due in theaters on Friday.

TMZ also speculates that the guys in the group might have a presence in the film beyond the song, since they’re all credited for voicework on IMDB. Justin stars in the film as Branch; the plot has Branch teaming up with his long-lost brother to rescue another brother and reunite their family boy band, BroZone.

TMZ says this premiere-like event isn’t any sign of a reunion tour, though. As previously reported, Justin has a new album and tour planned, so scheduling is a problem.

K Camp has shared an important health update with fans: he will soon undergo vocal cord surgery.

“Dear fans, I wanted to share some important news. I’ll be undergoing vocal surgery in a few days,” he wrote in his Instagram announcement Monday.

He added, “Let’s pray that this doesn’t affect me or my music. Thank you for your understanding and love during this time.”

In K Camp’s accompanying video of a recent visit to the doctor, it was revealed he’d developed a polyp — an abnormal tissue growth, described in the clip as the result of a rupture in his vocal cords.

Explaining that he tried many different remedies to nurse his vocal cords back to health without finding a solution, the rapper said he had multiple medical consultations to get to the root of the problem.

“I did a lot of straining on my vocals this year,” he said. “Pray that it’s nothing that going to change nothing as far as me musically or my career, so stay tuned.”

The update follows a slew of music projects from the rapper, including his most recent song, “Young and Free”; the official music video for “Spin the Block” from his Spin the Block six-song EP; and the Spin the Block Tour earlier this summer.

Billy Joel marks 150 career sell-outs at Madison Square Garden

Madison Square Garden Entertainment

Billy Joel will end his residency at Madison Square Garden on July 25, with what will be his 150th career performance at the legendary venue. Now, he can boast that all 150 of those shows are sold out.

Billy’s first appearance at the Garden was December 14, 1978. In January of 2015, with the 13th show of his residency, he set a new record of most consecutive performances by an artist at the Garden. In July of 2015, when he played his 65th show at the Garden, he set another record: most lifetime performances there by any artist.

Banners in the rafters of the venue commemorate both of those records and are replaced each month with new numbers, as he continues to rack up additional performances.

Billy’s residency, which started in January of 2014, has sold close to two million tickets. The final dates of the run include November 22, December 19, January 11, February 9, March 28, April 26, May 9, June 8 and July 25.

Billy, however, is continuing to perform at other venues: He and Stevie Nicks will co-headline a show December 8 in Phoenix, and he’ll ring in the New Year at UBS Arena in Belmont, New York. He’ll travel to Tokyo for a one-off show next year, and he’ll also co-headline several shows with Sting.

A worker at a drive-thru made a mistake that many parents of metalheads have likely made when she confused Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch for Disturbed‘s David Draiman.

Moody shared a TikTok video recapping the mix-up, which began with the restaurant employee asking him if he was in a band. When Moody replied that he was, she then responded that he looked like “the lead singer from Disturbed.”

“I love you Dave,” Moody said while smiling to the camera.

Moody added #CantGetUpset and #ImaFanToo in the post’s caption.
