AC/DC fans want to help the rock band get to #1 for their 50th anniversary.

Back in 2013 for the band’s 40th anniversary, the Facebook fan group AC/DC We Salute You launched a campaign to get the classic AC/DC single “Highway To Hell” to the top of the U.K. chart, ultimately getting it to #4. Now in honor of the half-century milestone, they are trying again.

“We’re going to choose another track and see if we can get 3 places higher for their 50th anniversary,” they write. “Are you in?”

Not long after posting their new mission, a new public Facebook group, AC/DC for Christmas No. 1, launched with the aim of getting the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers the illustrious Christmas chart topper in the U.K. And the group quickly began to take off, now reaching over 1,000 members.

The page notes, “What better way to celebrate AC/DC’s 50th anniversary than to stick them on top of the Christmas Tree!”

So far the Facebook group hasn’t chosen the song they want to focus on for the #1, but fans have already shared their thoughts. Among the suggestions: “Hells Bells,” “Long Way to The Top” and “Thunderstruck.”

How Michael Bublé’s new whiskey pays tribute to his beloved grandfather

While launching his new signature whiskey, Fraser & Thompson, Michael Bublé says his team wanted to name it after him, or one of his songs. Michael didn’t like that idea, so he came up with a different name — one he describes as honest, emotional and nostalgic — and inspired by his late grandfather.

Michael’s grandpa, a plumber, encouraged his interest in jazz standards, paid for his singing lessons and even offered his plumbing skills to nightclubs in exchange for them allowing Michael to sing there. So Michael named the whiskey after the place where they used to spend time together.

“He used to love taking us camping; we would go to where the mighty Fraser [River] and the glacier Thompson met,” Michael tells ABC Audio. “It’s gorgeous. But I think it was a parable. I think my grandfather was a pretty liberal guy.”

“The parable was much deeper than just two bodies of water,” he adds. “It was that two completely unique and different colors [and] flavors could, and would, not only meet to create something, but to create something spectacular.”

“The imagery is perfect,” he notes. “It comes from an honest place where it’s emotional for me, and it’s nostalgic.”

And Michael’s so excited about being a whiskey entrepreneur that he’s temporarily put his music career on hold.

“I ended the tour and stopped putting [up] any other dates, so I made sure that I would be ready for this, that this would be 100% of my time,” he explains. “And it really is.”

And Michael really does love the product.

“I feel that it has all the characteristics that a connoisseur might need, but I think it has the flavor, texture and smoothness that the people want,” he says. “We just need people to taste it.”

If your kid has grown out of their Black Flag onesie, maybe your dog can help prove your punk rock cred.

The pet supply company Caninus Collars has announced a new line of dog collars featuring the official, licensed logos of bands including Bad Religion, Misfits, Dropkick Murphys and Descendents.

Caninus Collars was founded by Rachel Rosen, who used to play in the band Caninus, which used the barking of two pit bulls, named Basil and Budgie, for lead vocals. Don’t get Troye Sivan started on how it feels to be parodied by Timothée Chalamet on Saturday Night Live. “Pure Shock,” Troye wrote on his Instagram Story. He also posted a snippet of the sketch to his main feed, captioning the video, “WHY IS LIFE SO WEIRDDDDD RN LMAO IM DEAD.” If that wasn’t enough, Troye got in on the joke by changing his profile picture to a photo of Timmy dressed as him.

Hilarie Burton ships Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and she predicts wedding bells in the near future. “They are gonna have the most flannel lined, pie and red ribbon kinda Christmas,” Hilarie wrote Sunday on X, formerly known as Twitter. “And then these babies are gonna be engaged by May.”

Speaking of Taylor, she took to Instagram on Monday to thank fans who attended her Argentinian Eras Tour dates. “I can’t even express my gratitude to the Buenos Aires crowds,” Taylor wrote. “Thanks to the amazing fans whose show was postponed Friday for coming back Sunday and blowing us away with your passion and excitement.”

Ariana Grande and her boyfriend, Ethan Slater, attended a performance of Gutenburg! The Musical! on Broadway on Sunday, and they were pictured together backstage. The musical’s star Andrew Rannells posted a photo of the couple posing with him and Josh Gad. “We had some big fun in Schlimmer yesterday,” Andrew wrote. “Spamalot’s Ethan Slater AND Michael Urie! Two great guys to eat dreams with. Plus Ariana Grande!”

Ruth B. has released her newest song, “28,” in collaboration with Dean Lewis. The haunting track means a lot to her. “I wrote it during a time when I didn’t think I could write … but as always, songwriting proved to be my safety net,” Ruth B. said in a statement.

Hello from the other side of the industry: could Adele be launching her own beauty line? The singer has just set up a new company and applied for a trademark under the name The Shelbourne Collective. Perhaps we’ll be drawing cat eyes with signature Adele liner sometime soon.
