Blondie co-founder and guitarist Chris Stein is ready to share his story. The rocker is set to drop his memoir, Under a Rock, next year.

“I’ve been working on this memoir for two years and it’ll show up allegedly in 2024,” he writes on Instagram. “I mean, I like it… I wrote the whole f****** thing myself. It’s got a lot of weird a** stuff that actually happened even if it might seem made up.”

“I’m quite looking forward to people interacting with it,” he adds.

Under A Rock will feature a foreword by Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry. Described as Stein’s “nothing-spared autobiography,” it is “about the founding of the band, ascending to the heights of pop success, and the hazards of fortune.”

Under A Rock will be released June 11. It is available for preorder now.

Drake isn’t quite finished with music drops this year.

The “Rich Flex” rapper says he’s got one more 2023 release: his new EP, Scary Hours 3.

Serving as the follow-up to the first two editions of Scary Hours, Drake’s upcoming project is set to arrive off the heels of his October chart-topping eighth studio album, For All the Dogs.

In a seemingly unexpected post on Instagram, Drake surprised fans with the music news, sharing an album trailer and the release date of midnight, November 17.

“I’ll say this to you I’m not — I feel no need to appease anybody,” Drake says in a voiceover. “I feel so confident about the body of work I just dropped that I know I can go and disappear for whatever, six months, a year, two years.”

But there’s no need to take a break quite yet, he adds.

Throughout the rest of the clip, Drake opens up about how he wrote and recorded the entire Scary Hours 3 over the past five days.

“I didn’t have one bar written down for those songs on the night For all the Dogs dropped,” he said, noting the overflow of music is organic.

“Who am I to fight it?” he asked.

Sad news for Toosii fans who await the release of his upcoming album, Jaded.

The singer/songwriter, known for his breakthrough hit “Love Cycle” and his viral track “Favorite Song,” issued a music update and apology via social media, writing that the project won’t come out on its intended date of November 17.

“To my fans I’m sorry, the album ‘JADED’ won’t be dropping Friday,” he tweeted

Without revealing a new release date, Toosii said in an Instagram post he’s postponing the album because he’s not quite ready to give it to the world yet.

“I just need more time,” he wrote.

In tandem with announcing Jaded earlier this month, the Syracuse native dropped off its lead single, “Suffice.”

Of the emotional track Toosii says, “When we look at our reflection, we look inside ourselves. In this song, I feel like looking into the mirror is about trying to see your future — looking for signs that what you hope for will come true, but recognizing that there are some things you just can’t control.”

Jaded follows June’s Najour, Toosii’s 19-track debut album featuring 21 Savage and Khalid

Geddy Lee reveals the Rush albums he’d pick for the big screen

Rush’s Geddy Lee can see the band’s music being turned into a film one day.

Speaking to Vulture, Lee, who just released his memoir My Effin Life, was asked what song he thought could be adapted to a screenplay. He couldn’t quite narrow it down to one.

He says the 1976 album 2112 seems to be the easiest to turn into a movie, noting it’s “obvious as a sci-fi story of ‘the individual against the collective.’”

“I think the setting of it would lend itself to visual interpretation. Whether that’s been done too much, I don’t know,” he says. “You’ve got generations of Star Wars films. It’s not new territory, but there’s something in that story that would translate into the genre.”

He says there have been ideas for 2112 films over the years “but nothing has ever really made us want to go down that road.”

But Geddy thinks 2012’s Clockwork Angels would make a better film or series.

“It’s based on a classic story of a naïve and innocent person going out into the world, and running away to try to find the place to make his dreams come true,” he shares. “That really would lend itself to a fantasy story, but not necessarily a sci-fi fantasy story.”

“When you look at what’s been done with shows like The Last of Us or Game of Thrones, you can take cinema anywhere now. Yet the story at the heart of Clockwork Angels is a full circle of life,” he adds.

Geddy says his late bandmate Neil Peart also wanted to see a Clockwork Angels adaptation. “It was a big deal for him, and he had done some work in the hopes he could make something like that happen,” he says. “Maybe one day.”

Lindsey Stirling talks new “2.0” holiday tour, and fans in the audience cosplaying as her

Lindsey Stirling kicks off her Snow Waltz holiday tour November 16 in Stateline, Nevada. She’s been doing holiday tours for quite a few years now, and she loves that her shows have now become part of her fans’ annual holiday celebrations.

“I really do get so excited when I hear from people that it has become a part of their tradition and that they bring their family every year to the show,” she tells ABC Audio. “I just can’t think of anything more exciting than being a part of somebody’s family memories and traditions … that’s exactly what I always hoped would happen when I started [going] into the Christmas world.”

In the past, Lindsey’s Christmas tours have had their own concepts, but she says this year, she’s just improving on what she did last year. “Since we’re going to a lot of new markets … instead of recreating the whole thing from scratch … we just thought, ‘O.K., where are the little nuts and bolts that we could, like, tidy up a little bit?’ And I’ve just been reworking the costumes … so it’s almost like just a 2.0 version of last year’s tour.”

Speaking of costumes, Lindsey isn’t the only one who’ll be wearing them on tour: Her fans likes to dress up to attend her shows.

“I do think my favorite is when I see someone in, like, a cosplay of one of my music video or tour costumes,” says Lindsey.  “I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, they were that inspired or that excited that they recreated something that they felt connected to.'”

“So I do always get really excited when I’m up on stage and I see [them] from the audience and I’m like, ‘Hey, I want to meet that person!,’ she says. “Because that’s what I would have done.”

Travis Barker is here to bring extra energy to your exercise routine.

As revealed by Billboard, the blink-182 drummer will be playing along during a Peloton shadowboxing class. He’ll be providing beats as instructor Kendall Toole leads the session, marking the first time a Peloton class will feature a live musician performance.

“Being the first musician ever to perform in a Peloton class has been an epic experience,” Barker shares. “Knowing that millions of people across the globe will watch me and Kendall do our thing is super exciting.”

“It was an absolute thrill to teach alongside Travis,” adds Toole. “Travis is someone who I have grown up listening to who also shares my passion for movement and music so collaborating together was natural and effortless.”

The Barker-soundtracked class is part of Peloton’s blink-182 Artist Series, which launches Thursday, November 16, on the Peloton app.

A Peloton class is the latest nontraditional venue to showcase Barker’s drumming skills. As previously reported, Barker shared a video of himself drumming along to his new baby’s heartbeat while in the hospital with wife Kourtney Kardashian.

You can see also see Barker drum on blink-182’s 2024 tour in support of their reunion album, ONE MORE TIME…, which dropped in October. The U.S. leg begins in June.
