The Eagles’ 1975 album, One of These Nights, is being reissued with a whole host of bonus material.

One of These Nights (Deluxe Edition) will be released May 1 as a three-CD/Blu-ray set, featuring a new mix of the album and a previously unreleased 1975 concert. The Blu-ray features Dolby Atmos and high-res stereo mixes of both the album and the live concert.

The concert, recorded Sept. 28, 1975, at Anaheim Stadium, has band members Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Randy Meisner, Bernie Leadon and Don Felder performing tracks from the album, including the title track, “Lyin’ Eyes,” and “Take It To The Limit,” along with hits “Take It Easy,” “Witchy Woman,” “Already Gone” and “The Best Of My Love.” The show, Leadon’s final performance with the band, features his eventual replacement, Joe Walsh, joining them for the encore to perform his track “Rocky Mountain Way.”

As a preview of the live concert, Eagles have released a performance of their cover of Chuck Berry’s “Carol” to digital services. While the band had often played the song during concerts, this is the first time it’s ever been included on an Eagles album.

One of These Nights (Deluxe Edition) is being released ahead of the Eagles’ May 2 performance at New Orleans’ Jazz Fest. It will also be available digitally and as a three-LP set featuring the new album mix and the concert. All formats are available for preorder now.

Released June 10, 1975, One of These Nights was the Eagles fourth studio album and the band’s first #1 record. It contained three top-10 hits: the title track, which was their second #1 single, “Take it to the Limit” and “Lyin’ Eyes.”

A never-before-seen George Michael concert film is set to hit the big screen.

The film, George Michael: The Faith Tour, features footage from Michael’s two-night stand at Paris’ Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in 1988 during his first-ever solo tour. The long lost film has now been restored and remastered and will be released in theaters later this year.

According to a press release, the concert film, directed by Michael’s longtime collaborators Andy Morahan and David Austin, “captures a turning point that transformed George Michael from a global superstar into a singular, era-defining artist, whose influence continues to reverberate across music, fashion, and culture today.”

It will open with Mary McCartney’s short film, Finding Faith, which features a previously unheard interview with Michael, previously unseen photos from photographer Herb Ritts and behind-the-scenes footage of the music video for “Faith.”

In addition to the concert film, a new live album, The Faith Tour, will be released this year, featuring 18 previously unreleased recordings of songs from Michael’s solo and Wham! catalogs.

Details on when and where George Michael: The Faith Tour will be released will be announced at a later date.

Chrissie Hynde is sharing some news about a new Pretenders album.

In a social media post Hynde gave fans some insight into what she’s been working on as the band’s been off the road, and that includes a new Pretenders album.

“(Guitarist) James Walbourne and I have been writing for the next one … provisionally called Outlaw. (yes I know there’s probably 1000 albums titled Outlaw),” she writes. “We start recording that in the next couple of months.”

In addition to the Pretenders album, Hynde says she’s working on two other projects, one with Moreno Veloso, Kassin Kassin and Domenico Lancellotti of the Brazilian band The +2s. The other is Valve Bone Woe Volume 2, a follow-up to her 2019 jazz-influenced solo album. She also said she’s working on another painting exhibit, which will be happening soon.

“I’m not trying to make a name for myself as a painter,” she writes. “I just like painting and there’s no point in just stacking them up in a warehouse, which is what I have been doing.”

The Pretenders haven’t played a show since July. In her post Chrissie also let fans know how she’s been feeling about being off the road.

“I’m finding not being on tour, pretty weird,” she offers. “I miss the band. I miss the backstage. I miss the dressing rooms. I miss the scaffolding. I miss the crew.”

She adds, “But most of all, I miss the CATERING. (Naw … I’m just f***** with ya’ll, most of all I miss YOU).”

Neil Young is back in the studio.

In a new post on his Neil Young Archives site, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer revealed that he’s recording a new album with his band Chrome Hearts.

The post started out with Young commenting on what’s been going on in America, writing, “I am so hurt for this country. Politics today is sad and depressing for me. I can’t do it anymore.”

“I can go out and demonstrate my feelings about it,” he added, before calling President Donald Trump “the worst president in the history of our country.”

He then let fans know what he’s been up to.

“Now, thankfully, once again, I’m in the studio recording a new album with the Chrome Hearts,” he wrote. “I love the songs and the feelings of life and love. Music is. So far we have eight new songs. They make me feel.”

Young released his first album with Chrome Hearts, Talkin to the Trees, in June 2025. He was supposed to hit the road with the band this summer, but in February he canceled the tour, noting he “decided to take a break.”

After canceling their 2025 tour due to frontman Brian Setzer’s health, The Stray Cats are headed back out on the road this summer.

All three original members — Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom — are set to kick off a new monthlong cross-country trek on July 24 in Las Vegas, wrapping Aug. 16 in Morristown, New Jersey.

“It’s good to be healthy and strong again,” Setzer says. “Come on out and have some fun with us this summer.”

“The Stray Cats are back and ready to blast off!” Rocker adds. “It’s an amazing feeling to join up with Brian and Slim, hit the stage and Rock across America.”

Finally, Phantom notes, “With The Stray Cats, there’s always some extra magic around the summertime shows. It’s the perfect time for the Cats & Kittens to get dolled up, put the top down and cruise to the greatest Rockabilly show on earth!”

An artist presale for tickets will begin Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time, with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

The Stray Cats’ 2025 tour was supposed to begin in October, but was canceled so Setzer could address what was described as a “serious illness.”

John Fogerty has announced new dates for his Legacy Tour, although on this leg he’ll be joined by fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Steve Winwood.

The 13-date trek kicks off Sept. 3 in Tinley Park, Illinois, outside of Chicago, with stops that include Boston; Atlantic City, New Jersey; and Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour wraps Sept. 20 in Hollywood, Florida.

A ticket presale begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time, with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

Fogerty launched his Legacy Tour in the fall of 2025 in support of his most recent album, Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival years, whic had him rerecording his Creedence Clearwater Revival classics. Songs on the album include “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Fortunate Son,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” and “Born on the Bayou.”

Next up for Fogerty, after a March 14 concert in Mexico, he’ll headline three shows at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, March 18-21.

Fogerty will also be honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame with the Johnny Mercer Award, which is the organization’s highest honor. Fogerty will receive the award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala on June 11 in New York City.

Former Yes frontman Jon Anderson has announced a second leg of U.S. dates for the Yes Epics, Classics and More tour with his backing band, The Band Geeks.

The first leg of the tour is set to begin on April 17 in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and wrap May 7 in Royal Oak, Michigan. The new dates include 12 shows, kicking off June 23 in Phoenix, Arizona, and wrapping July 22 in New York City.

Anderson and The Band Geeks released their first album together, True, in August 2024. Songs from the album will be included in the set along with tracks from the Yes catalog.

The tour is also set to hit the U.K. and Sweden beginning Sept. 6 in Brighton, England, and wrapping Oct. 5 in Malmö, Sweden.

R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe was the surprise guest at Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy’s Brooklyn concert Saturday. The duo is on tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of R.E.M.’s fourth studio album, Lifes Rich Pageant.

Stipe joined them for two songs, Pageant’s “These Days” and the Man on the Moon track “The Great Beyond.” Fan-shot footage of the performances are posted on R.E.M.’s Instagram account.

While Stipe’s appearance wasn’t announced prior to the show, fans may not have been all that surprised he showed up. Stipe joined the pair at their Brooklyn show in March 2025, which celebrated the 40th anniversary of R.E.M.’s Fables of the Reconstruction, and performed the Reckoning track “Pretty Persuasion.”

Stipe and his R.E.M. bandmates Mike Mills, Peter Buck and Bill Berry also joined Shannon and Narducy when the Fables tour hit R.E.M.’s hometown of Athens, Georgia, in February of that same year.

Shannon and Narducy’s Lifes Rich Pageant tour hits Pittsburgh on Monday.

In other Michael Stipe news … The rocker and producer Andrew Watt has contributed the theme song Steve Carrell’s new HBO series, The Rooster. The song, “I Played The Fool,” features blink-182’s Travis Barker on drums and ex Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer on guitar and piano.

Steven Tyler’s annual Jam for Janie Grammy Viewing Party, put on by his Janie’s Fund charity, raised $4.1 million for the organization.

Janie’s Fund posted a video on Instagram featuring highlights from the bash, which took place Feb. 1 at the Hollywood Palladium. The footage includes such rock stars as The Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson, Yungblud, former Guns N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum, Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt and others.

“Thank you for 10 years of belief, compassion and love that heals,” a choked up Tyler says in the clip. “Tonight, tonight means everything to me and I know it means everything to you.”

The video also features highlights of another Janie’s Fund event, the Sounds of Laughter Comedic Soiree, which took place Jan. 29 at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles.

Tyler launched Janie’s Fund in 2015 to help girls who’ve been abused or neglected. A press release announcing the Grammy party noted that over the last decade the organization had raised over $23 million, which has helped provide 350,000 days of counseling and trauma-informed care for more than 2,200 girls and young women.

An archival performance from Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour has been released to mark two special occasions.

The performance is of the Gilmour solo track “On an Island,” recorded in April 2006 in New York as part of an AOL Session. It features Pink Floyd’s Richard Wright on keyboards.

The upgraded video was released to coincide with Gilmour’s 80th birthday on Friday, as well as the 20th anniversary of his third solo album, On an Island. An Instagram post announcing the video noted that more performances from the 2006 AOL Session will be released “over the next few days.”

Released on March 6, 2006, On an Island was the rocker’s first solo album in 22 years, and the follow-up to 1984’s About Face. It peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200. 

In between About Face and On an Island, Pink Floyd released their 14th studio album, The Division Bell, in 1994, marking their second without Roger Waters.
