Ezra Miller is in trouble again.

Days after Warner Bros. Discovery’s CEO defended the upcoming standalone movie The Flash — despite Miller’s increasingly frequent run-ins with the law — the actor has been charged with felony burglary in Vermont.

According to a press release from the Vermont State Police, the charge stems from a home break-in in Stamford, Vermont, on May 1: “The initial findings indicated that several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present.”

“As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and [eyewitness] statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling.”

Local ABC affiliate WTEN-TV reports Miller was found and arrested on Sunday. He was issued a citation to appear at the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in Bennington on September 26 for arraignment.

This is just the latest legal problem for Miller: In June, two South Dakota parents filed court documents that claimed Miller has been “physically and emotionally abusing” their 18-year-old daughter. Miller allegedly met the young woman when she was 12 and he was 23.

The Fantastic Beasts series star was also accused of “psychologically manipulating, physically intimidating, and endangering the safety and welfare” of the young woman, according to court documents obtained by Entertainment Weekly.

That same month, Rolling Stone claimed Miller was keeping a mother and her two young children on his 96-acre Stamford compound. Video provided to Rolling Stone allegedly showed “unattended guns strewn around the home,” and that “one of the children — a one-year-old — allegedly picked up a loose bullet and put it in her mouth.”

Miller was arrested in Hawaii in March and April of this year in separate incidents in which the star was charged, respectively, with disorderly conduct and harassment in one case, and second degree assault in the other.

Kaley Cuoco is getting into the true-crime business. The two-time Flight Attendant Emmy winner will star in Based on a True Story, a “dark comedic thriller” series that will stream on Peacock, ABC Audio has confirmed.

Cuoco will play a married woman named Ava Bartlett. Other the details about her character are being kept under wraps.

The streamer teases that the series is “inspired by a bizarre true event” and is “about a realtor, a plumber and a former tennis star whose lives unexpectedly collide, exposing America’s obsession with true crime, murder and the slow close toilet seat.”

Craig Rosenberg, veteran of The Boys and Preacher, is producing and writing the project, along with Ozark‘s Jason Bateman.

Sure, Pac-Man has made some pretty big cameos, appearing in shows like The Goldbergs and Stranger Things, and movies like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the Adam Sandler comedy Pixels — but he’s about to get the spotlight to himself.

Variety reports Justin Baldoni, the Jane The Virgin alum, is producing a movie project starring the beloved video game character, in partnership with the character’s legal owners, Japanese entertainment company Bandai Namco Entertainment.

While nothing substantive is known about the project, the trade reports it will be a live-action movie starring the pellet-scarfing character from the beloved 1980 video game.

Pac-Man had a one-hit wonder with “Pac-Man Fever” in 1982 and his own cartoon in the ’80s; to this day he graces merchandise the world over.

More recently, he starred in the animated Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures on Disney XD.

No doubt Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios is hoping to cash in on the cache of box office gold rings snagged by another video game lead turned movie star, Sonic The Hedgehog.

The two Sonic films scored more than $708 million at the box office — while another video game character’s live-action turn in theaters, Pokemon’s Detective Picachu, made more than $433 million.

That’s a lot of quarters.

Chart-topping singer, actress and activist Olivia Newton-John has died, according to a post on her Instagram page from her husband, John Easterling. She was 73.

“Dame Olivia Newton-John passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends,” the note reads. “We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”

Originally diagnosed with breast cancer in the ’90s, Newton-John was in remission for more than 20 years before her cancer returned in 2017. “Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer,” continues the post.

“Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer,” it concludes. “In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the @onjfoundation.”

Newton-John is survived by her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi; Easterling, whom she married in 2008; as well as a sister, a brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born in 1948 in Cambridge, England, Olivia was the granddaughter of Nobel Prize-winning physicist Max Born. When she was five, her family relocated to Melbourne, Australia. By her teen years, she’d landed her big break, winning a talent contest on the TV show Sing, Sing, Sing.

By 1966, Olivia had a deal with Decca Records, but her major breakthrough wouldn’t come until 1973, with the country-flavored hit “Let Me Be There.” That same year, the Academy of Country Music named her its Most Promising Female Vocalist. In 1974 the Country Music Association agreed, crowning her its Female Vocalist of the Year in a move that sparked controversy among the genre’s traditionalists.

The next year, Olivia’s career would gravitate more toward the pop side, as she released one of her signature songs: “I Honestly Love You.” It won both Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 1974 Grammys.

Generations of fans — particularly young girls — would come to identify with Newton-John as she took on her most iconic film role in 1978, playing Sandy alongside John Travolta‘s Danny Zuko in the big-screen adaptation of the musical Grease. The two would become one of cinema’s most beloved couples, performing the duets “You’re the One That I Want” and “Summer Nights” together. Olivia also scored a Grease solo hit with “Hopelessly Devoted to You.”

In 1980, Newton-John teamed up with the legendary Gene Kelly for the roller skating fantasy Xanadu. Though it failed to be “Magic” at the box office, it was destined to become a cult classic and also gave Olivia another chart-topping hit from its double-Platinum soundtrack.

Newton-John and Travolta rekindled their onscreen romance for Two of a Kind in 1983. While the film wasn’t successful, once again Olivia’s music was. The soundtrack went Platinum and “Twist of Fate” was a top-five hit.

On the small screen, Olivia would become a music video pioneer, turning her super-sexy single “Physical” into a campy romp through saunas, aerobics and workout rooms. The clip propelled the song to 10 weeks at the top of the chart, and “Physical” won the 1982 Grammy for Video of the Year.

All told, Newton-John charted 10 #1s and sold more than 100 million albums, continuing to work right up until the recurrence of her cancer forced her postpone her 2017 tour. Earlier, she’d staged a well-received Las Vegas residency at the Flamingo for two years, starting in the spring of 2014.

In her eyes, Olivia was certain to see both her family and her humanitarian work as her greatest accomplishments. She gave birth to her daughter, Chloe, in 1986, and later helped establish the Healthy Child, Healthy World organization after Chloe’s childhood friend died of a rare form of cancer.

After going into remission in 1992, Newton-John worked to raise awareness for breast cancer, recording multiple albums that addressed the issue and eventually establishing the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Center. It opened in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia, in June 2012.

ABC News has learned that Los Angeles Police Department investigators are looking into whether drugs or alcohol were involved in a fiery Friday car crash that left actress Anne Heche with serious injuries.

The LAPD obtained a warrant for a sample of the actress’s blood, although results are still forthcoming.

Heche’s blue Mini Cooper slammed into a home in Los Angeles’ Mar Vista neighborhood Friday, and the car burst into flames, setting the house on fire. Eyewitnesses tell ABC News the car, which was thought to have been speeding before impact, stopped just feet away from the homeowner and her dogs.

A GoFundMe has been set up for the homeowner, whose home was said to be a “total loss” because of the fire.

Heche’s blood sample would be an important step in piecing together what brought about the accident, as the Emmy winner was reportedly uncommunicative at the time of the wreck and officers have been unable to speak with her because of medical treatment for severe burns she sustained in the crash. She’s reportedly in stable condition at a Los Angeles hospital.

Investigators are also looking into whether the crash is linked to several other misdemeanor hit-and-runs that proceeded Heche’s wreck, which happened close to her home.

Heche has been open about her struggle with drugs and alcohol in the past, but has been enjoying a career upswing of late, with several TV and film projects in various stages of production.

A wise reptile once said, “It’s not easy being green.” But fortunately for Tatiana Maslany, she’s become close with her She-Hulk: Attorney at Law co-star Mark Ruffalo.

In the show, the Orphan Black Emmy winner plays Jennifer Walters, a lawyer specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases who gets superpowers of her own after a blood transfusion from Ruffalo’s Avenger Bruce Banner.

His gamma-irradiated blood gives her the ability to transform into a 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. As her character does in the show, Maslany said she leaned on Ruffalo for support on this journey.

“He is one of those actors … who just empowers you to be yourself and be in the moment,” Maslany told Good Morning America of her “very playful” co-star.

While Maslany joked that Ruffalo would “never mansplain how to be the Hulk to me,” she said it was a sight to watch him transform into the fan-favorite character.

“I don’t think that’s a normal way a human moves,” she recalled of watching Ruffalo in action, playing a role he has owned since The Avengers in 2012. She said Ruffalo was “so committed and so in his body.”

“He had such an embodied, incredible connection to that character and I felt like I really witnessed that,” Maslany said.

Being a 30-something woman with superpowers, Maslany said fans will see “comedy” and “great slice of life” moments not typically seen in the Marvel universe. This includes “banal” activities like Jen as She-Hulk helping her dad move heavy things around the house, or going out on dates as a “glamazon.”

She-Hulk streams exclusively on Disney+ beginning Thursday, August 18.

Paramount Pictures

With Top Gun: Maverick flying past Titanic in the #7 slot of all-time domestic top grossers, Paramount Pictures is saying thank you to fans.

The studio has announced a “Fan Appreciation Weekend” kicking off this Friday, August 12. The studio “is eternally grateful to the millions of fans going to theatres to experience Top Gun: Maverick the way it was meant to be seen — on the big screen,” noted Chris Aronson, president of domestic distribution of Paramount Pictures.

From Friday through Sunday, the Tom Cruise film will return to the country’s largest format theaters so fans can experience the movie again and also take in special behind-the-scenes features of what it took for Cruise, director Joseph Kosinski, and its cast and crew to bring the movie to life.

Also, while supplies last, fans can get their hands on a new Top Gun: Maverick collector’s print, commissioned and designed for fans by U.K. artist Doaly at participating theaters. More information can be found at local theater listings and exhibitor websites.

Cruise, who also produced the movie, was insistent on avoiding streaming and delayed Maverick‘s release until moviegoers were ready to return to theaters.

It was a gamble, but it paid off: At $662.5 million and counting collected in the States, and nearly $1.29 billion worldwide, the movie is Cruise’s highest-grossing movie to date.

Baby number two has arrived for Khloé Kardashian and her ex, Tristan Thompson.

The pair, who split in January, welcomed their second child, a baby boy, via surrogate, a rep for Kardashian confirms to E! Online. The two are already parents to 4-year-old True Thompson.

The baby’s name has not been revealed.

Khloé’s new arrival comes a month after it was confirmed that she and the NBA player were expecting a second child. At the time a rep shared that True’s brother “was conceived in November.”

The second child does not mean a reconciliation for the 38-year-old reality star and 31-year old baller. The two split after it was revealed that Thompson was having a baby with Maralee Nichols, a fitness model he slept with in Houston in March 2021.

This is the second child for Khloé, and Tristan’s fourth. He also has a seven-month-old son with Nichols and a five-year-old son with his ex, Jordan Craig.
