Jonathan Bailey has been revealed as one of the three TIME100 Next cover stars for 2025. The actor was recognized along with 100 other emerging leaders, including a group of notable entertainers TIME described as the world’s most influential rising stars.

Among the celebrities included on this year’s list are Monica Barbaro, David Corenswet, Kaitlyn Dever, Meghann Fahy, Damson Idris, Manny Jacinto, Nico Parker, Jack Quaid, Megan Stalter, Teyana Taylor, Tramell Tillman and Lola Tung.

Ariana Grande penned an essay about Bailey to coincide with the recognition.

“I first met Jonathan Bailey at dance rehearsal for Wicked. I was nervous because I have always found him so brilliant—having bookmarked and memorized a few bootleg clips of him onstage in Company and The Last Five Years—but from the moment we met, I felt like I was giggling with someone I had known for 20 years,” Grande wrote. “I can’t even begin to describe what a privilege it is to see just how thoughtful he is about his craft and also how generous he is with himself on such a demanding level.”

Bailey also spoke to TIME about returning as Fiyero in the upcoming film Wicked: For Good.

“Fiyero’s got an easy charm, which comes with his easy glow of privilege, but it feels like he’s in a state of quiet rebellion,” Bailey said. “The regime starts identifying who is good and who is bad, who is acceptable and who isn’t. Fiyero steps outside of his privilege and Glinda battles in her own way.”

“I was raised on Reading Rainbow, LeVar Burton is my hero,” he continued. “I am a reader, I am a librarian because LeVar Burton and Reading Rainbow so powerfully made us believe we belong in books, we belong everywhere.”

The new Reading Rainbow will be presented as a digital series on the Reading Rainbow website and KidZuko, a children’s YouTube channel. The first of four new episodes premieres Saturday and each subsequent episode will be released each Saturday at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET until Oct. 25.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have separated, ABC News has learned.

The Nine Perfect Strangers actress and the “Straight Line” hitmaker have been married since 2006 and share two daughters together, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban, 17, and Faith Margaret Kidman-Urban, 14.

Kidman is also the mom to two other children, Bella and Connor, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Kidman met Urban in 2005 at the G’Day USA Gala in Los Angeles, according to People, who reported that early on in their relationship, Kidman was certain that Urban was who she wanted to marry.

In May 2006, they got engaged and tied the knot a month later in Sydney, Australia.

Over the years, Kidman and Urban have supported each other’s projects and more.

In 2024, Urban honored Kidman during the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Nicole Kidman and shared how Kidman supported him when he went to rehab after they got married due to his past “addictions.”

“If you want to see what love in action really looks like, give that a whirl,” he said. “Nic pushed through every negative voice — I’m sure even some of her own — and she chose love. And here we are tonight, 18 years later.”

“The thing about Nic — she loves life,” Urban added. “I’ve actually never met anyone who has such a passion for being alive. She knows the importance of expressing feelings as well. I wasn’t raised like this at all, so our girls are very lucky to be learning from you, baby. I’m learning too.”

Earlier this year, Nicole shared a sweet photo with Keith on their 19th wedding anniversary.

“Happy Anniversary Baby @KeithUrban,” the Oscar winner captioned her June post.

The Simpsons are going for ‘”d’oh”-ble duty on the big screen.

20th Century Studios has announced that an all-new film based on the animated family is set for movie theaters. The company shared the news in an Instagram post on Monday.

“Woohoo! The Simpsons are coming to theaters with an all-new movie on July 23, 2027!” the post’s caption reads.

The announcement graphic on the post features a yellow hand reaching for a pink-frosted doughnut. Rainbow sprinkles in the shape of the number two appear all over the pastry.

“Homer’s coming back for seconds,” the graphic reads.

This new film marks Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie’s return to movie theaters after a 20-year hiatus. Its plot is being kept under wraps. This sequel takes over the release date that Disney previously kept for an untitled Marvel film.

The Simpsons Movie was released in July 2007 and was a smash hit, earning $536 million at the global box office. Its plot found the town of Springfield being contained under a glass dome after Homer polluted the town’s water supply. David Silverman directed the film.

Matt Groening created The Simpsons, which premiered on Fox in December 1989. The 37th season of the show premiered on Sept. 28. Its voice cast includes Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson, Julie Kavner as Marge, Nancy Cartwright as Bart and Yeardley Smith as Lisa.

George Clooney and Adam Sandler play star and manager in a new trailer released Monday for the upcoming Noah Baumbach film Jay Kelly.

The two actors star side-by-side in the new look at the film, with Clooney as a curious celebrity working to explore his own life on a trip to Europe with Sandler, his manager.

Starring alongside Clooney and Sandler are Laura Dern and Billy Crudup.

Netflix released the full trailer on Monday along with a short synopsis, reading, “Famous movie actor Jay Kelly embarks on a journey of self-discovery, confronting his past and present with his devoted manager Ron. Poignant and humor-filled, pitched at the intersection of regrets and glories.”

“Look at you, you’re the American dream. The last of the old movie stars,” Sandler as Ron says to a frustrated Clooney as Kelly.

Later in the trailer, Kelly’s daughter tells him she is leaving for Paris, after which Ron gets a call from Kelly’s publicist, played by Dern, begging him to meet Kelly and join him as he suffers a “nervous breakdown.” Upon meeting, Ron learns he’ll be traveling with Kelly to France, with Dern’s Liz joining as well. On the trip, Kelly’s celebrity follows him, as he encounters tourists cheering him on and calling his name.

“Lately I feel like my life doesn’t really feel real,” says Kelly midway through the trailer. “I’m suddenly remembering things,” he continues. “It’s like a movie where I’m playing myself.”

Ron shares his perspective later in the trailer, asking, “Does none of this mean anything to you? Cause it means something to me.”

Jay Kelly will be out in select theaters on Nov. 14 and will be released on Netflix on Dec. 5.

The final trailer for Zootopia 2 has arrived.

Walt Disney Animation Studios released the new trailer for the upcoming animated film on Monday.

Zootopia 2 finds rookie detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, once again voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, following the trail of “a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down,” according to its official synopsis. “To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.”

The mysterious reptile is pit viper Gary De’Snake, voiced by Ke Huy Quan. The trailer finds Gary De’Snake running in to Judy and Nick at the new mayor’s Zootennial Gala.

“Snakes aren’t the bad guys. I have to set things right, and when I do, my family will finally be able to come home,” Gary De’Snake tells Judy, right before Nick hits him on the back of the head with a frying pan.

Oscar winners Jared Bush and Byron Howard directed the film, which has a voice cast that includes Fortune Feimster, Idris Elba, Patrick Warburton, Quinta Brunson and Nate Torrence.

Also joining the film are Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song, who lend their voices to the Lynxleys, one of the most prominent families in Zootopia.

The trailer also includes the new original song “Zoo,” performed by Shakira. The singer reprises her role as Zootopia’s biggest pop star, Gazelle, in the sequel film. Ed Sheeran and Blake Slatkin wrote and produced “Zoo” with Shakira, and both men appear in film in special cameo roles as a pair of sheep named Ed Shearin and Baalake Lambkin. The single for “Zoo” releases on Oct. 10.

Zootopia 2 comes to theaters on Nov. 26.

Jennifer Lopez is opening up about her divorce from Ben Affleck, calling it a turning point in her life.

In a new interview with CBS News Sunday Morning, the singer and actress shared why she sees an unexpected upside to the breakup, describing the split as “the best thing that ever happened to me.”

“Because it changed me,” Lopez said. “It helped me grow in a way that I needed to grow ….[I] became more self-aware, I am a different person now than I was last year, a year and a half ago.”

Affleck serves as an executive producer on Lopez’s new film Kiss of the Spider Woman, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January — the same month the former couple finalized their divorce, according to People.

Reflecting on working on the film during such a tumultuous time, the singer called it “the best and the worst of times.”

“Every moment on set, every moment I was doing this role, I was so happy,” she said. “And then it was like, back home, it was not great. And it was just like, oh, you know, ‘How do I reconcile this?’ but you get through it.”

Affleck and Lopez first began dating in 2002 but ended their engagement in 2004. Lopez later married Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Max and Emme, while Affleck wed Jennifer Garner and had three children: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.

The couple reunited in 2021 and married in Las Vegas in July 2022, followed by a larger celebration in Georgia a month later. Two years later, Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, according to legal documents obtained by ABC News.

Earlier this year, Affleck opened up about his divorce from Lopez in an interview with GQ, calling the split “pretty adult,” despite what he described as the “sensational” media coverage surrounding it.
