The song Tom Hiddleston performed on ‘Loki’ debuts on ‘Billboard’ charts

ABC

Tom Hiddleston can add a new accolade to his expansive resume. On Tuesday, the British actor became a Billboard-charting artist.

Hiddleston can credit his Billboard debut to the song he belts out in Loki‘s third episode, in which he stars as the titular Norse god of mischief.

The Golden Globe winner sings the Asgardian drinking song “Very Full” almost entirely in Norwegian in the episode titled “Lamentis.”  The track is now available on the recently released Loki: Volume 1 soundtrack.

“Very Full” — or “Jeg Saler Min Ganger” —  debuted in the top 10 on the World Digital Song Sales after selling over 500 downloads.  The particular chart tracks non-English and non-Spanish singles.

Hiddleston performs “Very Full” twice in the third episode of Loki, the first time when he drinks too much and leads a train full of affluent individuals into a rowdy singalong as Sylvie, played by Sophia Di Martino, stares on in horror.  The second time is during during the end credits.

Loki‘s final episode premieres today on Disney+, though a second season is forthcoming.

This isn’t the only song originating in a Disney+ series to shake up the Billboard and streaming charts. Previously, Kathryn Hahn‘s WandaVision earworm “Agatha All Along” went to number one on the iTunes soundtrack chart.

Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.

Demi Moore: Working it in swimwear on a working vacation?

Victor Boyko/Getty Images

Demi Moore is showing off what 58 looks like for her, in a series of Instagram snaps showing off the Indecent Proposal star in a black bikini.

“Getting ready for another day in paradise,” the actress captioned the snaps, which were taken in Greece.

Page Six reports Moore was in Crete as the godmother for the christening of the baby of some mogul friends, but turned the event into a vacation.

However, here’s a pretty decent proposal: Moore could arguably log the entire trip as a working vacation as far as write-offs go, because the suit she’s wearing is from Andie Swim, a company in which she invested back in 2018.

In fact, Moore — along with her daughters Rumer, Scout and Talullah — recently all rocked swimsuit looks from the company on Instagram.

Gillian Anderson shares her honest thoughts on brassieres

27th Annual SAG Awards/Getty Images for WarnerMedia

Like the truth, Gillian Anderson is apparently out, there.

The Emmy-winning actress had a unique way of keeping herself preoccupied ahead of Tuesday’s announcement of the 2021 Emmy nominees.  Taking to Instagram live, the Crown actress answered a variety of questions from fans, which led to her sharing her honest thoughts about lingerie — specifically bras.

The lighthearted conversation saw Anderson, 52, explaining that she doesn’t find brassieres very comfortable and would rather go the rest of her life without wearing one ever again.

“I don’t wear a bra anymore. I can’t wear a bra. I’m sorry,” she remarked. “I don’t care if my breasts reach my belly button!”

The actress, who just secured her sixth Emmy nod for her portrayal of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in Netflix’s The Crown, spoke about her experiences filming the critically acclaimed series and discussed the various scenes that stick out most in her mind.

“Probably the most complicated scenes [I filmed] were the audience scenes, just because there was so much dialogue and trying to make them different from each other,” Anderson answered, before teasing that she is sitting on some behind-the-scenes videos of the entire cast goofing off in Scotland when they were filming the second episode.

The X-Files alum also revealed in her lengthy IG live that her greatest fear is relaxing, that her first concert — that she can recall — was seeing The Eagles when she was 16, and that she prefers gelato over ice cream.  The latter answer made her go off on a nearly five-minute discourse about her love of the frozen dessert.

Don Cheadle, Sonequa Martin-Green share “the fun” and message behind ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’

Courtesy Warner Bros. Pictures

It wasn’t much of a challenge for Iron Man star Don Cheadle to go from superhero to a Looney Tunes supervillain in his new film Space Jam: A New Legacy

Cheadle, who plays Al-G Rhythm, a tyrannical computer A.I. who hopes to “delete” his competition, says his “evil” Space Jam character isn’t as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

“I think he’s still the good guy,” Cheadle tells ABC Audio. “I’ve played all kinds of guys: good guys, bad guys, unscrupulous characters. Al-G was a lot of fun.”

It was also “a lot of fun” for Sonequa Martin-Green to take on her role of Kamiyah, a character loosely based on LeBron James‘ wife, Savannah. Martin-Green says she “appreciated the way her character was written” because she’s the “matriarch” and “nucleus” of the family.

“You get to see the strength and ferocity met with the grace and the patience,” says Sonequa. “And you see this woman navigating perfectly in and out of these relationships, knowing exactly how to say what, and when to say it… And I think it pays homage to Savannah.”

While both actors can agree that the compelling characters are what make the film authentic and entertaining, Cheadle notes that it’s the messages in the film that provide the important takeaway.

“It’s about individualism and letting people be who they’re going to be,” he says. “Not trying to dictate who people have to be so that you feel comfortable.”

Cheadle continues, “Even as a dad, being a father, that’s one of the biggest challenges… So… it’s about people being who they want to be and letting people experience their lives for themselves and supporting that as a parent at all costs.”

Space Jam: New Legacy hits theaters on Friday.

Ruby Rose shocked fans in May of last year with the announcement that she would be leaving the groundbreaking CW series Batwoman after just one season.  Now she’s finally revealed why.

During an interview on Australia’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the 35-year-old actress and model said the real reason she stepped down from her role as Kate Kane was because she was allergic to her latex costume.

“I did find out that I was allergic to latex…unfortunately, my mask is latex,” Rose explained.  “I was getting worse and worse, because as you get more contact with it, I guess you get more reactions.  I took off the [mask] at the end, and my face was just hives. My throat was all messed up.”

Adds the Australian actress, “It was like it was out of a scary movie.”

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly last year, the Orange Is the New Black alum cited a back injury she suffered while filming Batwoman as the reason for leaving the show.

“I was told I needed an emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralyzed. I had herniated two discs doing stunts, and they were close to severing my spinal cord,” she revealed back then.

Rose made history as the first lesbian superhero to be cast in a scripted live-action TV series.

Kate Kane was recast with 26-year-old English actress Wallis Day.  Javicia Leslie assumed the role of Ryan Wilder/Batwoman, becoming the first Black woman to play the crime fighter.

‘Loki’ will return for season 2

Marvel Studios

Get ready for more Loki.

Fresh off of Tuesday’s 28 total Emmy nominations for Disney+’s WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Marvel Studios just made more television news when Wednesday’s season finale of Loki closed with this after-credits mention: “Loki will return for season 2.”

This was the first time the studio confirmed one of its Disney+ projects would return for a sophomore frame. Previously, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige explained that the events of the two previous hit shows would play out on the big screen, first with Emmy-nominee Elizabeth Olsen‘s Wanda Maximoff’s appearance in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness in 2022. He did, however, claim “there will be other places” the story could continue, without elaborating.

As for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, that show ended with Anthony Mackie taking up the mantle of Captain America, setting the stage for an in-development fourth Captain America film.
