Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020, will be posthumously honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The ceremony to celebrate the Black Panther actor, who died of colon cancer at age 43, will take place Nov. 20, Billboard first reported.

Director Ryan Coogler, who worked with Boseman on Black Panther, will speak at the ceremony alongside Viola Davis, who co-starred with Boseman in the film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Boseman made his film debut as Denver Broncos halfback Floyd Little in 2008’s The Express: The Ernie Davis Story. He gained plaudits as the star of another sports biopic in 2013, this time playing barrier-breaking baseball player Jackie Robinson in 42.

Boseman found his biggest box office success and rose to worldwide star status as King T’Challa, the titular superhero of Marvel’s Black Panther.

He made his first appearance as T’Challa in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War before appearing in the standalone Black Panther film in 2018. He made subsequent appearances as the king of Wakanda in Marvel’s 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

The same Australian prankster who crashed Katy Perry and The Weeknd concerts this past summer accosted Ariana Grande on the yellow carpet during the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good Wednesday night.

Johnson Wen, known as Pyjama Man, ran at top speed towards Ariana on the carpet and threw his arm around her shoulders. Security sprang into action, while Ari’s co-star, Cynthia Erivo, inserted herself between Wen and Ari and tried to pull him off her. Wen was eventually taken away, leaving Ari looking shaken.

Furious fans expressed their anger in the comments section of Wen’s post about the incident, with one writing, “After all the trauma Ari has been through, this is beyond disrespectful. Not just to her, but to the cast and to all the fans. It’s literally infuriating. You should be ashamed.”

The fan was referring to the PTSD Ariana suffered following the 2017 bombing of her concert in Manchester, England, which left 22 people dead. A year later, she was deeply impacted by the death of her former boyfriend Mac Miller, who died of an accidental overdose at age 26.

In more positive Ariana news, Ben Stiller appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night and raved about her performance in his upcoming film Focker In-Law. “She’s so good with comedy. She’s just like a total natural,” he told Fallon. “I feel like she could do anything.”

Do you believe in magic? ’Now You See Me’ returns for round 3

For its next trick, Now You See Me becomes a three-film franchise.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, in theaters Friday, continues the magician-themed heist series following the original 2013 movie and its 2016 sequel. The threequel reunites Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Isla Fisher as the Four Horsemen, a troupe of Robin Hood-esque illusionists who use their powers of deception to rob from the rich and powerful for the benefit of the common people.

As Franco tells ABC Audio, he had no idea Now You See Me would become a trilogy back when he was filming the first one.

“The concept of magicians pulling off bank heists, it’s a very fun idea, but in the wrong hands, that could be a disaster,” Franco says. “But I think when that first movie came together the way it did, we were all like, ‘Oh my God, that’s like a miracle magic trick in and of itself.’ And now we’re just trying to harness it, and we just have so much fun making these films.”

Eisenberg thinks that the films have connected with audiences because they make viewers “feel clever.”

“You’re in on the puzzle, and it’s just a great feeling to have,” Eisenberg says. “I have to say, I’ve been in a lot of movies, and these movies, Now You See Me, are the ones I’m stopped for on the street more than anything else.”

Along with the original Horsemen, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t brings three new up-and-coming magicians to the fold, played by Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa and Ariana Greenblatt.

“Huge fan of the first two movies,” Greenblatt says. “I wanted to be in the group, I wanted to be friends with all of them, I wanted to know magic.”

Mario and Luigi are back in the official trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Nintendo, Illumination and Universal Pictures released the trailer for the sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Wednesday.

This new film is inspired by the Super Mario Galaxy video games, which find Mario and friends in the cosmos.

The voice actors from the previous film are returning to voice the roles they originated. Chris Pratt is back as Mario, Charlie Day returns to play Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy is voicing Princess Peach, Jack Black will voice Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key is back as Toad and Kevin Michael Richardson will voice Kamek.

There are also two new additions to the film’s cast. Brie Larson has been tapped to voice Princess Rosalina, while Benny Safdie will portray Bowser Jr.

The trailer finds a now-tiny Bowser inside the miniature version of his castle. He shows Mario and Luigi a new painting he’s made of himself and Princess Peach. While Luigi compliments the colors Bowser used, Mario calls the painting “trash.”

“How dare you look at my masterpiece and say that! I’ll burn the skin off your bones,” Bowser says, before realizing he’s taken things too far. “Wow, sorry about that. That’s the old Bowser talking. Still working through my demons, I suppose.”

We also see the first look at Bowser Jr. and Princess Rosalina. The former tells Mario and Luigi he’s come for his father, while the latter refuses to be captured, fighting back against her would-be kidnapper.

Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic will direct The Super Mario Galaxy Movie from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie arrives in theaters on April 3, 2026.

Tom Felton has returned to the Wizarding World.

The actor, who played Draco Malfoy in all eights films in the Harry Potter franchise, has reprised the role while making his Broadway debut in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. Felton took to the stage for the first time on Tuesday, where he received thunderous applause from fans in the audience the moment he appeared.

After speaking his first word back as the character, which was, aptly, “Potter,” the actor waited to say the rest of the line for a good 30 seconds as the crowd cheered him on. “I need a favor,” Felton finally said after the applause ended. The moment was shared in a video posted on the official Cursed Child Instagram.

“It’s true then, what they’re saying on the train. Tom Felton has come to Broadway,” the caption reads. “Tom Felton makes his first appearance as Draco Malfoy on Broadway. #CursedChildNYC.”

The caption is a reference to one of Draco’s lines from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. “It’s true then, what they’re saying on the train,” Draco says in reference to Harry’s arrival at Hogwarts.

Felton’s casting was announced back in June. He originally joined the show for a 19-week limited engagement, which was scheduled to last through March 22, 2026. Now he plans to stay in the role for an additional seven weeks due to high demand. Fans can see him as the Slytherin wizard through May 10.

“Don’t miss your chance to witness wizarding world history. Tom Felton returns to the role he made famous, Draco Malfoy, as he joins the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child live on Broadway this fall,” the Cursed Child website reads.

The play continues the Harry Potter story 19 years after the events of the book series and film franchise. It follows the children of Harry, Hermione, Ron and Draco, who now all attend Hogwarts together.

A teaser trailer? For The Devil Wears Prada sequel? Groundbreaking.

20th Century Studios has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Set to Madonna‘s song “Vogue,” the trailer finds Meryl Streep back as editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. We see her strut down a hallway in red heels before finally making it into an elevator. Just as it seems like the doors to the elevator are set to close shut, a hand comes out of nowhere to stop them from closing. The hand belongs to Anne Hathaway‘s Andy Sachs, who steps into the elevator beside Miranda.

“Took you long enough,” Miranda says to Andy.

This teaser comes almost 20 years after Streep and Hathaway made their turns as the iconic characters in the original 2006 film. Joining them in the sequel are Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, who reprise their roles as Emily and Nigel.

Also returning are Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman, who will once again play the characters Lily and Irv.

Director David Frankel, who helmed the first film, returns to direct the sequel from a script by the writer of the first film, Aline Brosh McKenna.

A new cast of characters are also coming along for the ride. They are to be played by Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 will arrive in theaters on May 1, 2026.

Disney is the parent company of ABC News and 20th Century Studios.

Jimmy Kimmel dedicates monologue to best friend, bandleader Cleto Escobedo III

Jimmy Kimmel opened his show Tuesday night with a heartfelt monologue dedicated to his longtime best friend and bandleader Cleto Escobedo III, who died Tuesday morning at age 59.

“We’ve been on the air for almost 23 years, and I’ve had to do some hard monologues along the way, but this one’s the hardest,” Kimmel said while holding back tears. “Early this morning we lost someone very special, who was much too young to go, and I’d like to tell you about him.”

“He would call me. He’d send me notes all the time, big stuff, little stuff, whatever, telling me, ‘Oh, this was so funny. I love this. I’m proud of you. I’m so happy that we get to be together all the time.’ He would tell me how lucky he was. He was just a great older brother. No baggage, all love,” he continued. “There’s no one in my life I felt more comfortable with.”

“Always cherish your friends,” Kimmel added. “We’re not here forever.”

Escobedo, who went by Junior, was the saxophonist and leader of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! house band, Cleto and the Cletones, alongside his father, Cleto Escobedo II, an accomplished sax player who had previously put his own career with the band Los Blues on pause in 1966 when his son was born, in order to be close to home and raise a family.

Kimmel also regaled Tuesday’s audience about his lifelong friendship with the younger Escobedo, which began in 1977 in the Las Vegas suburbs, where his family had relocated from Brooklyn. According to Kimmel, Escobedo and his family lived “across the street and two houses over.”

After the two boys met, they became fast friends, Kimmel said.

“Not just regular friends either. We became like 24/7, ‘Mom, please, let me sleep over, please’ kind of friends,” Kimmel said. “One summer, I slept over at the Escobedo house 33 nights in a row … we were never bored. We were always up to something.”

From playing baseball and dressing up as cowboys to boxing, attempts at body building, and navigating puberty and girls, the pair were inseparable and later went on to be best man at each other’s weddings, Kimmel said.

That bond extended decades, and eventually, amid Escobedo’s own successful career playing sax on tour with Paula Abdul, recording studio albums and more, Kimmel had the opportunity to make his best friend his right-hand man in late night TV.

“In September 2002, I got a talk show out of nowhere — when you do a show like this you need a desk, you need an announcer, you need a Guillermo, and you need a band. And of course, I wanted Cleto to lead my band,” Kimmel said. “The idea that anyone other than him would lead the band was terrifying. It had to be him.”

Kimmel said he set up an audition for Escobedo and his father with ABC executive Lloyd Braun.

“Cleto and his dad played ‘Pick up the Pieces’ by Average White Band. And Lloyd saw it, saw the father and son together, he said, ‘I love it.’ And he just got up and left. And we’ve been working together every day for almost 23 years,” Kimmel said.

He continued, “We had our own language that almost no one else understood. We didn’t have to say anything. We’d sit here at rehearsal every day, we’d have to look at each other — and that would be it.”

While Escobedo’s cause of death has not yet been revealed, Kimmel gave a special thank you on Tuesday to a long list of doctors and nurses at UCLA Medical Center “for taking incredibly good care of him.” He also thanked “the team at Sherman Oaks Hospital that initially took him in.”

“I’m grateful for my friends, Cleto’s friends … everyone who checked in on him, everyone who called and visited him, who’ve been helping his family. Everyone here at our show [has] been so supportive,” Kimmel said, giving a shout-out to his family and Escobedo’s family, “who all did their best to be strong during these awful few months.”

“Mostly, I want to thank Cleto’s parents, Cleto and Sylvia, for making him and for sharing him with me and with all of us, and for treating me like their own son, always,” he added, before announcing Tuesday’s guest — one of Escobedo’s favorite people — Eddie Murphy.

Kimmel said Tuesday that he planned to “take the next couple nights off,” but that he had wanted “to be here tonight to tell you about my friend.”
