Priscilla Presley is sharing a message for fans following her daughter Lisa Marie Presley‘s memorial at their family’s Graceland estate.
“Thank you all for your condolences, you have touched me with your words. It has been a very difficult time but just knowing your love is out there makes a difference,” the 77-year-old matriarch wrote in a Facebook post and tweet late Monday.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of the legendary singer Elvis Presley and Priscilla, died on Jan. 12 at the age of 54 due to cardiac arrest.
Her death came two days after she attended the Golden Globes, where actor Austin Butler won the Golden Globe for best actor in a motion picture-drama for his portrayal of the king of rock ‘n’ roll in Baz Luhrmann‘s Elvis. Butler remembered Lisa Marie Presley for her warmth, love and authenticity after news of her death broke.
“My heart is completely shattered for Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla at the tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie. I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared. Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered,” Butler said in a statement at the time.
She was celebrated Sunday in a public memorial held at Graceland– the Memphis, Tennessee, estate she had inherited from her late father — where fellow singer-songwriters Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, Axl Rose, and Alanis Morissette performed in her honor.
On Tuesday morning, Academy Award winner Riz Ahmed and star of the hit thriller M3GAN, Allison Williams, announced the nominees for the 95th Academy Awards from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.
The modestly-budgeted multiverse adventure Everything Everywhere All at Once led the pack with 11 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, and Best Supporting Actress for Jamie Lee Curtis. Yeoh makes history as the first Asian actress to earn a Best Actress Oscar nomination.
Hosted once again by Jimmy Kimmel, the 95th Annual Academy Awards will air on ABC on March 12 and can also be streamed on ABC.com, Hulu Live TV and YouTubeTV.

The Bachelor kicked off its 27th season on Monday with Zach Shallcross, a 26-year-old tech executive from Anaheim Hills, California, meeting the 30 women who are vying to be his future wife.
The pressure was on as the ladies tried surviving night one of the competition, and proved to be too much for one contestant, who went a little too far to get the Bachelor’s attention.
A long kiss between Zach and Greer, 24, a medical sales rep from Houston, done in full view of the other women, particularly bothered 26-year-old Fargo, Maryland business owner Madison, who was determined to kiss him before the night was over. Her attempt to force a kiss from Zach, wasn’t well received, and she knew it.
Before the rose ceremony, Madison pulled Zach to try to smooth things over with Zach, assuring him that she didn’t want to “force things,” and that he wanted her on the journey with him. Unfortunately, her aggression convinced him they weren’t a good match, and he decided to send her home.
Nine more women were sent home at the rose ceremony and 20 still remain following the rose ceremony, including Greer, who snagged Monday’s first impression rose and, Brianna, who earned America’s first impression rose during last year’s live Bachelorette finale.
Here are the 20 women remaining after the rose ceremony:
Aly, 26, a healthcare strategist from Atlanta, Ga.
Anastasia, 30, a content marketing manager from San Diego, Calif.
Ariel, 28, a marketing executive from New York City, N.Y.
Bailey, 27, an executive recruiter from Nashville, Tenn.
Brianna, 24, an entrepreneur from Jersey City, N.J. Audience-voted First Impression Rose
Brooklyn, 25, a rodeo racer from Stillwater, Okla.
Cat, 26, a dancer from New York, N.Y.
Charity, 26, a child and family therapist from Columbus, Ga.
Christina Mandrell, 26, a content creator from Nashville, Tenn.
Davia, 25, a marketing manager from Charleston, S.C.
Gabriella “Gabi,” 25, an account executive from Pittsford, Vt.
Genevie, 26, a neonatal nurse from Baltimore City, Md.
Greer, 24, a medical sales rep from Houston, Texas. — First Impression Rose
Jessica “Jess,” 23, an e-commerce coordinator from Winter Springs, Fla.
Kaitlyn “Kaity,” 27, an ER nurse from Austin, Texas.
Katherine, 26, a registered nurse from Tampa, Fla.
Kimberly, 30, a hospitality manager from Los Angeles, Calif.
Kylee, 25, a postpartum nurse from Charlotte, N.C.
Mercedes, 24, a nonprofit owner from Bloomfield, Iowa
Victoria J., 30, a makeup artist from Fort Worth, Texas
Fast and Furious series star Michelle Rodriguez is back in fighting form in the new trailer to Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
The adaptation of the beloved role-playing board game also stars Chris Pine and Hugh Grant, with the former playing a wise-cracking schemer called Edgin and the latter the nefarious Forge Fletcher.
“I don’t want to see you die,” Grant deadpans to Pine’s character. “Which is why I’m going to leave the room.”
Rodriguez plays the barbarian warrior Holda, and in the opening moments of the new trailer, she uses a cobblestone to fight her way out of a grisly execution scene single-handed.
Regé-Jean Page‘s Paladin fighter Xenk is also seen in the action- and magic-packed coming attraction, which, like the teaser, is partially set to Led Zeppelin‘s “Whole Lotta Love.”
Last year, Pine called the film “Game of Thrones mixed with a little Princess Bride, just a smidge of [Monty Python and the] Holy Grail” — and that sense of humor carries through to the new trailer.
Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves arrives March 31.
It’s certainly more painful than deleting an ex from your social media, but Pete Davidson has apparently erased his much-hyped relationship with Kim Kardashian from his body art collection.
Kim literally got under Pete’s skin: He had a tat of Princess Jasmine done to commemorate meeting her on Saturday Night Live in an Aladdin sketch in which they kissed for the first time. He also had “My girl is a lawyer” inked under his left collarbone to celebrate the SKIMS mogul’s passing of the “baby bar exam” in 2021.
However, Page Six‘s spies caught Pete with his latest rumored squeeze, his Bupkis co-star Chase Sui Wonders, playing in the waters of Hawaii and report that Davidson’s Kim-related ink, and a brand of her name on his chest, are now either gone or obscured with newer tats.
Wonders and Davidson have been spotted together on repeated occasions recently, but nothing is official — body art or otherwise.
While temporary tattoos could be a solution in this latest case, Kim might not want to take the situation personally.
He even worked his sessions with painful laser tattoo removal into a spot for SmartWater in which he stated, “I’ve made a lot of questionable choices, and a couple of them need removing.”
The second season of How I Met Your Father is almost here.
The Emmy-winning show, a spinoff of the hit series How I Met Your Mother, returns to Hulu on January 24.
The sitcom follows a woman named Sophie as she is telling her son the story of how she met his father when she was younger. Hilary Duff plays the flashback version of Sophie, who is living in New York, while Kim Cattrall plays the future version of Sophie who shares her story years later.
Season 1 ended with a dramatic moment in younger Sophie’s love life. She and Jesse (Chris Lowell) finally get together, but their relationship ends in the final episode after Sophie sees Jesse rekindle his connection with his ex-girlfriend Meredith (Leighton Meester).
Ahead of the new season, the cast spoke about how much fun they’re having playing their respective roles and getting to know their characters more.
“We know these characters, we feel a little bit more comfortable,” Duff told reporters at the Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour. “We just get more room to play and experience and find these little human bits in the roles. It feels easier to find and a little more secure this time around.”
The cast also includes Francia Raisa as Valentina, Suraj Sharma as Sid, Tom Ainsley as Charlie and Ashley Reyes as Hannah.
In 2022, the show, created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, won an Emmy for outstanding multi-camera picture editing for a comedy series.
Zoe Saldaña has a reason to flash that million-dollar smile — well, technically it’s a $2 billion smile, times four.
She has set a record as the first actor to have four movies cross the $2 billion mark at the box office.
Her latest adventure in Pandora as Neytiri, Avatar: The Way of Water, joined the original 2009 film in the $2 billion club over the weekend. Saldaña also appeared as Gamora in two $2 billion grossers for Marvel Studios: Avengers: Infinity War in 2018 and Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
Specifically, Avatar holds the title as the highest-grossing movie of all time, with a worldwide take of $2.9 billion; thanks to rereleases, it surpassed the film that briefly took its crown, Endgame, which made $2.48 billion globally. Infinity War ended its run with a $2.7 billion take, making it the fifth-highest-grossing movie of all time.
But with the way Way of Water is performing in theaters for 20th Century Studios, it looks like those rankings will shake up once again.
Both Marvel Studios and 20th Century Studios are subsidiaries of Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
Another Girls Trip appears to be in store for actresses Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Tiffany Haddish. Tracy Oliver, who co-wrote the 2017 film, confirmed a sequel is in the works.
The writer/director/producer shared the “definitive Girls Trip 2 update” at the Variety Studio presented by Audible at Sundance. “It’s officially happening. I can say that,” Tracy said, adding the film’s producer Will Packer “might kill me.” She also gave fans an update on the movie’s plot, which she claims they’re looking to set in Ghana.
Girls Trip follows four best friends as they reunite for a girls trip in New Orleans, attend the Essence Festival and rekindle their wild sides. It grossed $140 million worldwide, Variety reports.
As is tradition, the morning before they could get the call they’ve always wanted when the Oscar nominations are revealed, come the nominations for an award no actor would want: the Golden Raspberry.
The Razzies just revealed their picks for the 43rd annual salute to the year’s worst movies and performances, and “leading” the pack is Netflix’s Marilyn Monroe movie Blonde.
The movie might have earned a 14-minute standing ovation at Cannes last year, but it earned eight nominations for The Razzies: A pair of Worst Supporting Actor nods for Xavier Samuel and Evan Williams; a Worst Screen Couple for director Andrew Dominik “& His Issues with Women”; and the Worst Screenplay and Worst remake-ripoff/sequel category for Dominik.
Interesting, lead Ana de Armas, who played Monroe, was spared.
Other films to get a bushel full of the ol’ raspberry were the stoner comedy Good Mourning with 7, as if a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes wasn’t enough.
Disney’s live-action Pinocchio remake earned six nominations, including Tom Hanks, who this year was singled out for both Worst Actor in that film and Worst Supporting Actor for Elvis.
And while Pete Davidson may be lucky with the ladies, his movies didn’t fare as well: His voicework for Marmaduke earned him a Worst Actor nomination, while Good Mourning scored him a matching Worst Supporting Actor nom.
The 43rd Razzie Award “winners” will be revealed on Oscars Eve – Saturday, March 11.
