Just as they allowed fans to take sides in the drama between Pete Davidson and Kanye West, some Starbucks employees let customers vote in the ongoing defamation case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

A TikTok set to the Pirates of the Caribbean theme has gone viral, showing one of the coffee establishment’s drive-thru windows in Los Angeles, which was festooned with one tip box labelled “Johnny Depp,” and another in the name of his ex-wife.

And while tip box results aren’t legally binding, Depp is winning by a landslide: His box is stuffed with bills, while Amber Heard’s is empty.

“One for Johnny!” an enthusiastic passenger says, as the driver of the car makes their vote count by instructing a barista to add a buck to his box.

“Oh my God,” the passenger comments, as the camera focuses on Heard’s empty box.

“Send me a Venmo and I’ll go back to put a tip in there for ya,” commented the video’s poster, @summer-canova.

As of late Friday morning, the video had been viewed more than 585,000 times.

The Pete Davidson takeover shows no signs of stopping, with the SNL player and stand-up now becoming the face of H&M.

The King of Staten Island star is apparently taking a page from current squeeze Kim Kardashian and getting into the fashion business, bringing his “fresh energy” to the retailer’s menswear campaign.

In the collab announcement, H&M says the line, “captures the fresh energy in men’s fashion, such as freedom of expression and self-confidence in personal style every single moment,” and calls it, “an invitation to turn up the volume, have fun, be bold and add fresh pieces to much-loved wardrobe favorites.”

Pete, whose new comedy series Bupkis was just picked up by streamer Peacock, called the partnership a “great experience,” adding, “The clothes are comfortable and feel great to wear which is what I love about H&M.”

Henrik Nordvall, Global Business Unit Director for Menswear at H&M, says Davidson “encapsulates everything H&M loves about the new menswear mood, with his self-confidence and play with personal style.”

The British comedian, who will have hosted the show for eight-and-a-half years by the time he leaves, made the announcement on Thursday’s show.

“This will be my last year hosting the show,” he told his audience, explaining, “When I started this journey, it was always going to be just that — a journey, an adventure. I never saw it as my final destination.”

He is also a partner in Fulwell 73, the production company responsible for Hulu’s The Kardashians and Camila Cabello’s Cinderella, and will star alongside Sally Hawkins in Amazon’s upcoming comedy-drama series Mammals.

Corden’s first show aired on March 23, 2015. Since then, he’s introduced popular viral segments like Carpool Karaoke, Drop the Mic and Spill Your Guts.

Comedian, F-Boy Island host, and Dancing with the Stars first voted off of season 27 contestant Nikki Glaser has a new reality show, Welcome Home Nikki Glaser?, premiering Sunday night on E! and it came out of her moving back home to St. Louis during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I was really like, what is the next step? You know, comedy clubs are closed…And then I found myself watching reality TV more than any other TV, and I go, ‘Why am I trying to get on scripted shows when I don’t even watch scripted shows? I love reality. Why don’t I try it?'” she tells ABC Audio.

“And then I was kind of noticing around me. My parents are funnier than any comedians I hang out with,” she continues.

In fact, the 37-year-old comic says that where she got her sense of humor.

“My mom is extremely honest and will say very cutting things, not even knowing that she’s being that honest and hilarious…And then my dad is like an intellectual…And I think I learned from both sides…And so it is a perfect combo.”

And if you’re looking to this show as a replacement for The Kardashians, Nikki warns “There’s not as much drama on this show… But what you are going to get on this show is like authenticity and like real honesty and like hilariousness because I’m funny and so are my friends and family.”

“I really made an effort to make the show and be myself, the flawed version of myself that I’m still working on and that it’s okay that I’m not perfect,” she admits. “And I really, I really am not perfect on the show. Like, it’s the real me.”

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard again appeared in a Fairfax, Virginia, courtroom today, as another round of witnesses testified about their relationship, their finances, and a controversial Washington Post op-ed over which Depp is suing his ex-wife.

The 2018 piece saw Heard obliquely accusing Depp of domestic abuse; while she didn’t name him, he claims that her accusations essentially torpedoed the Pirates of the Caribbean series star’s career.

Today’s proceedings delved into the genesis of the op-ed, with Depp’s legal team playing video testimony of Terence Dougherty, the ACLU’s general counsel, who testified that the organization helped Heard draft and edit the piece.

It also came out in court that Jessica Weitz, the ACLU’s director of artist engagement at the time, pushed for the article to come out, “to capitalize on the tremendous campaign for Aquaman,” in which she starred.

“From the ACLU’s perspective…what better a time…so that it generates significant readership about our issues,” Dougherty said.

Also at issue today was Heard’s promise to split the $7 million as a divorce settlement from Depp between both the organization and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Dougherty testified that the ACLU received $1.3 million of the pledge, which her attorneys claim showed she was fulfilling her promise.

Depp’s attorneys’ questions to the witness and presentation of related documents proved that $350,000 came from Heard, while $500,000 was kicked in by a charitable fund tied to Heard’s former boyfriend Elon Musk, $350,000 came from another fund, and $100,000 of the donated money actually came from Depp himself.

In 2019, Dougherty said he was informed that Heard was having financial problems and was unable to pay the remainder of the monies she promised.

Other witnesses today included Depp’s accountant, who was quizzed by both sides about details of the state of his finances and his divorce settlement, and former security staffers, who testified about the couple’s tumultuous relationship.

The case will resume on Monday.

“I can use your expertise” — ‘Jurassic Park’ stars unite in new trailer for ‘Jurassic World Dominion’
Universal Pictures

Universal Pictures has released a new, action-packed trailer to Jurassic World Dominion, in which we see Chris Pratt‘s Owen Grady recruiting original Jurassic Park stars Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern. The trio played, respectively, Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ian Malcolm, and Dr. Ellie Sattler, in the first two films.

Early on in the trailer, we see the raptor that Owen trained, Blue, coming to visit Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard‘s Claire Dearing at home, with the reptile showing off her new babies.

However, one of the young creatures ends up getting dino-napped. Pratt’s character then pledges to Blue he’ll stop at nothing to get the baby back, from what appears to be mercenary animal traders.

Pratt’s Grady goes on to tap the series’ original stars to help, telling them, “I can use your expertise.”

“You made a promise to a dinosaur?” Goldblum’s Malcolm asks incredulously when Owen tells him of his vow to Blue.

“Yeah,” Owen replies with a shrug.

Meanwhile, dinos are running amok everywhere: Pratt is seen dodging them on a motorcycle in a cobblestone European street, and there are pterodactyls flying over New York City.

“We made a terrible mistake,” says BD Wong, also reprising his role as genetic scientist Dr. Henry Wu.

“If our world is going to survive, what maters is what we do now,” Dern’s character says.

With hair-raising escapes seemingly all over the world, the trailer shows that the reunited heroes soon come face to face with what Neill’s Dr. Grant calls “the biggest carnivore the world has ever seen.”

Jurassic World Dominion opens June 10.

As part of a presentation on the last day of CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Paramount Pictures revealed the title of the next Mission: Impossible film. Variety reports the seventh adventure of his $3.5 billion-grossing franchise will be Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.

The increasingly expensive film was to be shot concurrently with the eighth movie in the series, but pandemic delays prevented that from happening.

The seventh installment stars Tom Cruise with returning players Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby and Frederick Schmidt, in addition to Henry Czerny, who appeared in the first Mission: Impossible movie back in 1996 as IMF Director Eugene Kittridge.

Necomers include Marvel movie veterans Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff, as well as Rob Delaney, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Cary Elwes and Shea Whigham.

Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One, the seventh in the series, is set for release July 14, 2023. Part 2 is slated for theaters on June 28, 2024.

And in other Tom Cruise-related news, his Top Gun: Maverick reportedly enjoyed a debut screening for the CinemacCon audience Thursday morning, ahead of the movie’s May 27 release.
