Actress Jenna Fischer announced she is now cancer-free after battling stage 1 triple positive breast cancer.

The actress, 50, shared the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday revealing the diagnosis, detailing her battle against the disease and thanking those who supported her throughout her recovery.

“Last December, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Triple Positive Breast Cancer. After completing surgery, chemotherapy and radiation I am now cancer free,” Fischer wrote in the caption of the post which was shared along with a smiling photo of her.

Fischer began her post by explaining the circumstances of her diagnosis in 2023 after previously posting about her upcoming mammogram.

“Back in October of 2023 I posted a photo of myself on Instagram preparing for my routine mammogram with a joking reminder to ‘take care of your ticking time bags’ a la Michael Scott,” she wrote.

“After inconclusive results on that mammogram due to dense breast tissue, my doctor ordered a breast ultrasound. They found something in my left breast. A biopsy was ordered. Then, on December 1, 2023, I learned I had Stage 1 Triple Positive Breast Cancer,” she wrote. Fischer described the diagnosis as “an aggressive form of breast cancer” that is “highly responsive to treatment.”

Fischer explained in January she underwent a lumpectomy, removing the tumor that had been found. Although the cancer had not spread, she said due to its aggressive nature “it still required chemotherapy and radiation to be sure it didn’t return.”

Fischer shared in February she began 12 weeks of chemotherapy and three weeks of radiation. She also shared that while she is still taking “infusions of Herceptin and a daily dose of Tamoxifen” she is “feeling great.”

She went on to thank the “village” of people who helped her along the way, and implored her followers to get their annual mammograms.

Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney are teaming up for the film adaptation of The Housemaid.

On Tuesday, Lionsgate announced the news of the film adaptation of Freida McFadden‘s bestselling novel of the same name.

Seyfried and Sweeney also took to Instagram to tease the film, which will be directed by Paul Feig.

“‘The Housemaid’ by Freida McFadden is coming to the big screen,” Seyfried said in a video that was also shared by the film. “Stay tuned.”

Sweeney shared a video of herself with the book, writing in the caption, “tell me about yourself, Millie” — a nod to her character in the film.

According to a logline for the film, Millie is “a struggling young woman who is relieved to get a fresh start as a housemaid to Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew, an upscale, wealthy couple.” But she “soon learns that the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own.”

Feig, who is known for directing films like A Simple Favor and Spy, took to Instagram to share a video of him showing off the book cover and holding a martini in his hand.

“It’s happening,” he captioned the video. “So excited to bring this great book by @fmcfaddenauthor to life on the big screen with @sydney_sweeney and @mingey and my pals at @lionsgate and @hiddenpicturesmedia. Millie is on her way.”

McFadden’s novel, which was published in 2022, has been on the New York Times Bestseller list for over a year and has sold over 1 million copies.

A new special look at Moana 2 is here.

Walt Disney Animation Studios teased more of the highly anticipated sequel in a special look video on Tuesday, which features Moana sailing the seas of Oceania, battling monsters and more with her pal Maui by her side.

The special look also features Auli’i Cravalho, who voices Moana, singing a new song in the film called “We’re Back.”

News of the Moana sequel was first announced in February by Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger, and a trailer for the film debuted at D23 in Anaheim, California, in August.

Fans of the film were first introduced to Moana in 2016. The first film follows the adventurous teenager as she embarks on a quest to save her people on the Polynesian island of Motunui.

A press release for the sequel describes the film as following Moana “on an expansive journey in search of people beyond the shores of Motunui.”

During an interview with Good Morning America at D23, Dwayne Johnson, who voices Maui in the film, shared what fans can expect from Moana in the sequel.

“There’s something in her instinct and in her gut,” he said at the time. “There’s an inner voice that keeps telling her that there’s more out there. And it’s beyond the reef as she thought before but also, there’s more — especially when it comes to the culture and the islands — and you have a young lady who’s just not satisfied with what is currently happening and she does believe there’s more and she needs a little help from her demigod friend, Maui, and we go on a crazy, unbelievable adventure.”

Moana 2 opens in theaters Nov. 27.

Disney is the parent company of ABC News.

Jack Nicholson, Spike Lee and Billy Crystal may not be tall enough to dunk, but nonetheless they’ll be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts, on Sunday.

The trio, along with businessman Alan Horwitz, will be recognized by the organization, technically called The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. They’ll be recognized as SuperFans on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on the Jerry Colangelo Court of Dreams.

John L. Doleva, president and CEO of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, says, “These individuals have not only been passionate fans but have also significantly contributed to the rich culture of basketball. Their unwavering dedication to the game and their ability to connect with fans make them truly deserving of this recognition.”

“These four celebrated SuperFans will join a group of basketball enthusiasts who have made a profound impact on the game through their loyalty, passion, and dedication,” the organization noted.

Spike, a die-hard — and famously vocal — New York Knicks fan, and Crystal, a Los Angeles Clippers guy since the ’70s when the team was in San Diego, will be in attendance for the ceremony.

Nicholson, synonymous with the Los Angeles Lakers, apparently won’t be there.

Colleen Hoover‘s Reminders of Him is the author’s next novel heading to the big screen.

Universal Pictures announced Monday that Hoover’s 2022 bestselling novel will be adapted into a film.

Hoover co-wrote the screenplay with Lauren Levine, who previously produced Bridge to Terabithia in 2007 and the series Confess in 2017. The duo will also produce the film through their new production company Heartbones Entertainment, according to Universal Pictures.

Reminders of Him follows a woman named Kenna Rowan, who returns to her small town, hoping to reunite with her 4-year-old daughter after serving time in prison for a tragic mistake.

In a statement shared by Universal, Hoover said that she is “thrilled to be working with Universal to bring Kenna Rowan’s world to life.”

“I hear from many readers who tell me they found something of themselves in her story of living with and through tragedy and doing the often messy and imperfect work of healing and turning the page to a fresh chapter in life,” Hoover said. “I am excited as Reminders of Him holds a special place in my heart too.”

Reminders of Him follows the film adaptation of Hoover’s 2016 novel It Ends With Us, which was released in August, starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Reminders of Him will be released in theaters Feb. 13, 2026.

The second trailer for the Bob Dylan movie A Complete Unknown has just been released, giving fans another look at Timothée Chalamet playing the rock legend in the early days of his career.

“You trekked all the way from Minnesota — why is that?” Ed Burns as Pete Seeger says in the beginning of the clip. Chalamet responds, “I wanted to catch a spark.”

The clip gives us another taste of Chalamet’s vocal chops, with the trailer soundtracked to his version of Dylan’s “Girl From North Country,” as well as the iconic “Like A Rolling Stone.” The first trailer had him singing “A Hard Rain’s Gonna Fall.”

The new trailer also features footage of Dylan in New York City, and glimpses of his relationships with Joan Baez and a character named Sylvie Russo, played by Monica Barbaro and Elle Fanning, respectively. It also shows him dealing with his rise to fame, and his disillusionment with his own career.

“200 people in that room, and each one wants me to be somebody else. They should just let me be,” Dylan says. When asked, “Let you be what?” he responds, “Whatever it is they don’t want me to be.”

The film follows Dylan through his infamous 1965 performance at the Newport Folk Festival, where he shocks the crowd by plugging in an electric guitar — a scene we see in the trailer.

“I’m not sure they want to hear what I want to play, Johnny,” Dylan says to Johnny Cash, played by Boyd Holbrook. Cash replies, “I wanna hear it,” and later adds, “Make some noise, big D.”

A Complete Unknown, directed by James Mangold, opens in theaters Christmas Day.
