Brad Pitt‘s Los Angeles home was ransacked by burglars Wednesday night, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

Officers responded to the home in the Los Feliz area around 10:30 p.m. PT. Three suspects had jumped over a fence to gain entry to the yard, then broke in through a front window, sources said.

The home was “ransacked,” with an unknown number of items taken, according to police. Police are investigating and will utilize any surveillance video from the home and the area.

The LAPD did not officially confirm the occupant of the home, but sources confirmed to ABC News that it was Pitt’s residence.

It’s unclear if the star was targeted or if, as is often the case, it was just another pricey home that was hit that happened to be his, sources said.

The actor was not home at the time; he has been publicly on the road promoting the new movie F1.

ABC News has reached out to his representative for comment.

Anna Wintour has announced a new role opening up at Vogue.

On Thursday, Good Morning America confirmed that the longtime editor-in-chief is searching for a new head of editorial content at Vogue U.S.

Wintour, 75, who became editor-in-chief of Vogue in 1988, will continue in her role as chief content officer for Condé Nast and global editorial director at Vogue.

The news came as reports surfaced about Wintour stepping down as editor-in-chief of the magazine.

Vogue assured that she will still remain in her role, in which she oversees Condé Nast brands. They include Wired, Vanity Fair, GQ, AD, Condé Nast Traveler, Glamour, Bon Appétit, Tatler, World of Interiors, Allure and others, with the exception of The New Yorker.

In 2020, Wintour was named as Condé Nast’s first-ever global chief content officer, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The move was part of a revamp at the company, which also named Christiane Mack as chief content operations officer, and appointed three global editorial directors for AD, Condé Nast Traveler and GQ, according to a report from Deadline at the time.

Condé Nast CEO Roger Lynch said in a statement to Deadline at the time that Wintour’s appointment to global chief content officer “represents a pivotal moment” for the company “as her ability to stay ahead in connecting with new audiences, while cultivating and mentoring some of today’s brightest talent in the industry, has made her one of media’s most distinguished executives.”

Recently, Wintour organized the star-studded 2025 Met Gala. The theme for the event was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Jason Bateman‘s upcoming limited series with Jude Law now has a release date.

The upcoming New York City-set drama Black Rabbit will arrive Sept. 18 on Netflix.

Black Rabbit follows brothers who learn how far family and the pursuit of success can push a person to the edge. Law stars as Jake, the owner of a restaurant and VIP lounge called The Black Rabbit. The place is poised to be the hottest spot in the city. When his brother Vince, played by Bateman, unexpectedly returns to the business, trouble follows.

“Black Rabbit is a propulsive thrill ride and character examination about the way an unbreakable bond between two brothers can shatter their world and everything in its orbit,” according to an official description from Netflix.

In addition to starring in the show, Bateman also directed its first two episodes. His Ozark co-star Laura Linney directed the third and fourth episodes of the series.

“It’s really about these brothers who love each other but don’t match — one’s a screw-up, and the other is much more buttoned up,” Bateman told Netflix. “Everybody can relate to that. Everybody’s either got a sibling, or a friendship where you love being with one another, but it’s kind of dangerous; where that person usually gets you in trouble, but they’re really exciting to be around.”

Cleopatra Coleman, Dagmara Dominczyk, Troy Kotsur and Odessa Young also star in the upcoming limited series.

The teaser trailer for Emma Stone‘s latest film collaboration with Yorgos Lanthimos has arrived.

Focus Features released the first trailer for Lanthimos’ film Bugonia on Thursday.

The movie, which arrives in theaters this fall, follows two conspiracy-obsessed young men who “kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth,” according to its official synopsis. You know, that old chestnut.

Stone plays Michelle, the high-powered CEO who gets kidnapped. Jesse Plemons stars as one of the young men who ends up taking her, convinced she is some sort of alien.

“It all starts with something magnificent. A flower, then a honey bee. The workers gather pollen for the queen,” Plemons says in the trailer. “But the bees, they’re dying, and that’s the way they planned it. To make us the same as the bees. But it is not in control anymore. We are.”

Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias and Alicia Silverstone also star in the film with a script by The Menu screenwriter Will Tracy.

Stone has starred in three other Lanthimos films: The Favourite, Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness. She won her second best actress Oscar in a decade for her performance as Bella Baxter in Poor Things.

Bugonia opens in theaters with a special limited engagement on Oct. 24. It expands wider on Oct. 31.

Barry Keoghan is set to play Ringo Starr in Sam Mendes’ four Beatles biopics, and Ringo’s son, drummer Zak Starkey, has some thoughts about the casting.

When asked by NME if he had any advice on how to play Ringo, Starkey shared, “Get a big rubber nose. I don’t know what else to say. He doesn’t look anything like my dad, does he? You can fix anything, can’t you? You can certainly give someone a big rubber nose.”

Besides the looks, Starkey shares, “The thing about my dad is his personality. He sold The Beatles to America, he’s the one with the charisma. Pulling that off will be hard. He’s just himself.”

Starkey thinks another big challenge for Keoghan will be be mimicking Ringo on the drums.

“That’s f****** impossible. Nobody can play like my dad,” he says. “Good luck to him, but he’ll be the first guy who can pull it off.”

“My dad’s unique – the greatest rock ’n’ roll drummer in the world, still,” he adds. “He’s better now than he was then.”

All four Beatles pictures, titled The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, will be released in April 2028. In addition to Keoghan, the film stars Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.

The Sony films will mark the first time Apple Corps Ltd. and The Beatles have granted a studio the rights to the life stories of band members and their legendary catalog of music.

The next James Bond movie has found its director.

Amazon MGM Studios has tapped Dune director Denis Villeneuve to helm the project.

“Some of my earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007,” Villeneuve says in a statement. “I grew up watching James Bond films with my father, ever since Dr. No with Sean Connery. I’m a die-hard Bond fan. To me, he’s sacred territory. I intend to honor the tradition and open the path for many new missions to come.”

He calls the project a “massive responsibility,” but also “incredibly exciting” and a “huge honor.”

Tanya Lapointe will serve as executive producer, with Amy Pascal and David Heyman as producers.

This will be the first Bond movie since Amazon MGM Studios gained creative control of the franchise in partnership with longtime 007 producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

The most recent Bond film, 2021’s No Time to Die, ended Daniel Craig‘s time as the beloved British spy. No word yet on who will play the iconic character next.
