Prime Video is asking Team Conrad and Team Jeremiah to keep it civil.

The streaming service has issued a statement asking fans of The Summer I Turned Pretty to keep online discourse respectful throughout the third and final season of the show.

“PSA for the Summer community,” the show’s official social accounts shared. “Cousins is our safe place. Everything good, everything magical. Let’s keep the conversation kind this summer.”

A set of community guidelines were also put in place along with the public service announcement.

“We have a ZERO tolerance policy for bullying and hate speech. If you engage in any of the following you will be banned.”

Listed as part of the non-tolerated actions are: hate speech or bullying, targeting cast or crew and harassing or doxxing members of the community.

It is currently unclear how these guidelines will be enforced.

The Summer I Turned Pretty follows a love triangle between Belly and brothers Conrad and Jeremiah. Season 3 begins with a time jump. It finds Belly finishing up her junior year of college and looking forward to summer in Cousins Beach with her boyfriend, Jeremiah.

“Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life,” according to an official synopsis from Prime Video. “Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same.”

The Summer I Turned Pretty‘s third and final season premieres with its first two episodes on Wednesday. The rest of the episodes will debut weekly through Sept. 17.

Elmo’s social platform X account is now secure after it was hacked and several racist and antisemitic messages were shared, according to the producers of Sesame Street.

“Elmo’s X account was briefly compromised yesterday by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts. The account has since been secured,” a spokesperson for Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, said in a statement to ABC News on Monday.

The compromised posts appear to have been deleted from the X account of the beloved Muppet character, who has more than 650,000 followers on the platform.

The since-deleted posts included racial slurs and antisemitic language, as well as comments about President Donald Trump and deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to The New York Times.

As of Monday, the most recent post on Elmo’s X account is from July 12 and features a photo of Elmo with Tango, another Sesame Street character.

X did not immediately reply to ABC News’ request for comment.

The social media platform has faced questions about safety and hate speech on its platform since Elon Musk acquired X, formerly Twitter, in 2022.

Early into Musk’s tenure as owner, X faced an advertiser boycott over concerns about hate speech and other content on the platform.

Earlier this month, another Musk-owned company, xAI, faced scrutiny when Grok, its artificial-intelligence chatbot, began posting antisemitic messages in response to X user queries.

The messages — which Musk has said are being addressed — drew condemnation from Jewish advocacy groups and raised concerns about the AI tool.

Rian Johnson is sharing an update about his scrapped Star Wars trilogy.

The director, who helmed the 2017 film Star Wars: The Last Jedi, had been set to direct a trilogy of films set in the Star Wars universe. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Johnson said he had been developing a three-film saga with Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy, but that plans were eventually scrapped.

“Nothing really happened with it,” Johnson said. “We had a great time working together, and they said, ‘Let’s keep doing it.’ I said, ‘Great!’ I would kick ideas around with Kathy.”

Johnson said the main reason his new Star Wars trilogy never got off the ground was the success of his 2019 film Knives Out.

“The short version is Knives Out happened. I went off and made Knives Out, and was off to the races, busy making murder mysteries,” Johnson said.

The director also said the scrapped trilogy was “all very conceptual” and that there was never even an “outline or a treatment or anything” for the series of films. Even so, Johnson said he would be happy to reenter the galaxy far, far away at some point.

“It’s the sort of thing if, down the line, there’s an opportunity to do it, or do something else in Star Wars, I would be thrilled,” Johnson said. “But right now I’m just doing my own stuff, and pretty happy.”

(SPOILER ALERT) Amaya Papaya never said she was perfect, she never said she didn’t have any flaws, but she did win Love Island USA.

Fan-favorite contestant Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were crowned the winners of the reality dating competition series during Sunday night’s Love Island USA season 7 finale.

Host Ariana Madix named Espinal and Arenales the winners of the season before they decided to split the $100,000 prize.

In an interview shared to the official Love Island USA socials, Espinal said how she plans to spend her winnings.

“I actually do wanna donate to a charity,” Espinal said. “I wanna give back to a community, that’s one of my biggest passions — [which] he asked [about] early on — is just me leaving a positive impact [on] a group of people who are in need.”

Espinal entered the villa as a bombshell while Arenales joined the season during Casa Amor. The pair coupled up after they formed a connection when Arenales stood up for Espinal during the heated “Stand on Business” challenge.

Contestants Olandria Carthen and Nicolas Vansteenberghe were the runners-up, while Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley got third place, and Iris Kendall and Jose “Pepe” Garcia-Gonzalez came in fourth.

While this is the end of season 7, the Islanders are set to reunite at the Love Island USA season 7 reunion special, which will be co-hosted by Madix and Andy Cohen.

According to Peacock, the reunion special will bring together “this season’s winners, fan-favorite couples, and this year’s bombshells for an up close and personal look back at their experience in the villa.”

The season 7 reunion special will premiere Aug. 25 on Peacock.

Additionally, Madix will return to the villa this fall to host season 2 of Love Island Games. The show premieres on Sept. 16.

Flip the switch and let the cauldron bubble because the Practical Magic 2 cast is getting bigger.

Joining Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock — who were both previously announced as part of the sequel film — are We Were the Lucky Ones actress Joey King and Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, according to a press release.

Also joining the cast are The Hobbit star Lee Pace, Cobra Kai actor Xolo Maridueña and Tom Jones actor Solly McLeod.

Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing, who previously portrayed the eccentric Aunt Jet and Aunt Franny in the first Practical Magic film, will also return.

“Twenty-five years ago, Sally, Gillian, Aunt Jet and Aunt Franny flew off the pages of Alice Hoffman’s beloved novel and into theaters around the world, and we are thrilled to bring the Owens family back to the big screen with Joey, Lee, Maisie, Solly and Xolo joining the next chapter in our story,” the Practical Magic filmmaking team said in the press release.

They added, “The enduring affection for these characters has been our inspiration to deliver the next installment in the Owens’ story to new fans, and those who’ve been with us since the beginning.”

Practical Magic first charmed audiences in 1998. It followed Gillian Owens and Sally Owens, two witch sisters born into a magical family and raised by their aunts in a small town, according to a synopsis.

When Gillian’s (Kidman) boyfriend dies unexpectedly, the sisters “give themselves a crash course in hard magic” and try to “resurrect him,” the synopsis states.

The original film also starred Evan Rachel Wood, Camilla Belle and Margo Martindale.

Production is underway for the sequel, which arrives in theaters Sept. 18, 2026.
