Kelly Rizzo is speaking out about her husband Bob Saget‘s sudden death and his impact on others.

In an interview that aired on Good Morning America on Thursday, an emotional Rizzo discussed her last conversation with her husband, his inimitable personality and how she is coping in the wake of his death on Jan. 9.

Saget, who was 65, was laid to rest in a star-studded funeral last Friday.

Rizzo, who wed the Full House actor and comedian in 2018, said her late husband had “the biggest heart.”

“He just wanted to spread love and laughter and he did it so amazingly, and I’m just so proud of him because he truly brought people together,” she said.

“He was just so wonderful and I was just so honored to be his wife and to be able to be a part of it and bring him any bit of happiness that I could because he deserved it so much.”

Rizzo added, “He did everything for everybody — if you had a problem, he was the first person that was going to…help you,” calling the stand-up comic and actor, “the most caring and kind and thoughtful person,” and the “most absolutely wonderful husband that I ever could have dreamed of.”

Rizzo described that her last conversation with her husband, following his comedy show in Florida, was a normal one: “He was just on his way…back to his hotel — and just was telling me what a wonderful show he had and how it was so amazing.”

“He was happy and just loving what he did,” she added. “It made him so happy to just bring laughter to people.”

She also shared that their final text communication was “I love you so much” and “I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.”

Chrissy Teigen is six months sober.

On Wednesday, the Cravings author marked the milestone accomplishment, sharing photos of herself in an all-black outfit paired with a brown jacket to Instagram. 

“6 months no alcohol!” she announced in the caption. “Honestly kind of sucks saying it because even though I don’t ever crave it now, time has not exactly flown by haha.”

“I prob won’t be excited til a larger milestone like at leasssst 5 years, and sometimes I don’t even know if I necessarily won’t ever drink again? I have no idea what I’m doing honestly, but I do know a few things: I now have endless energy, way less anxiety (no more benzos!) and I am *happier* and more present than ever,” she continued.

Teigen concluded, “It’s pretty cool. I look forward to having my full body reset after 1 year, then reevaluating to see my new hopes and wishes for the future! Let’s goooo.”

Legendary Louis Vuitton designer Virgil Abloh passed away in November at 41 years old after a private battle with cancer, but his legacy lives on in a new charity auction.

Bound to get sneakerheads everywhere green with envy, Louis Vuitton and Nike announced they’re teaming up with Sotheby’s for a limited-edition sale of the designer’s take on Nike’s iconic “Air Force 1” kicks.

The auction of just 200 pairs of the sneakers kicks off January 26 and runs through February 8.

Proceeds from the auction of the shoes will benefit The Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund, an organization, “that aims to foster equity and inclusion within the fashion industry by providing scholarships to academically promising students of Black, African American, or African descent.”

As one might expect, these aren’t your ordinary kicks. According to Sotheby’s, “the sneakers were made with materials employed in Abloh’s Louis Vuitton men’s collections, and were styled with his signature quotation marks, echoing the written graphics Abloh used to adorn the shoes. The individual style designed for the show were made by Louis Vuitton in its shoe manufacture in Fiesso d’Artico.”

What’s more, “Each pair will be sold with a Louis Vuitton pilot case in orange Taurillon Monogram Leather (exclusive to this auction).”

The designer was instrumental in the creation of the auction prior to his death; his family is overseeing the event in his stead.

And in case you doubt these bespoke kicks will fetch a pretty penny from collectors, consider Sotheby’s description: “A cultural symbol in its own right, today the Nike Air Force 1 serves as an objet d’art emblematic of self-generated subcultural provenance.”

Tiffany Haddish is sharing an update on her plans to become a mom.

While chatting with E!’s Daily Pop, the comedian, 42, who has previously been open about her plans to adopt, shared an update about the adoption process. 

“I just went to Africa. I was just in Eritrea, and people were trying to give me their kids,” Haddish shared in the interview published Wednesday. “I was like, ‘Hold up now, I gotta get the paperwork right now. I can’t just be taking kids with me.”

So when is she planning to start that paperwork? “Not right now, but maybe at the end of the year, beginning of next year.”

While celebrity online scams are nothing new, one has gone viral, thanks to its famous subject, original Spider-Man trilogy director Sam Raimi. 

While most online scams don’t pass the smell test, this one takes the cake.

People have noted getting DMs from somebody claiming to be the filmmaker, making the following pitch, which surfaced in the wake of the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“Hi there it’s Sam Raimi the director here. I’m trying to make spiderman 4 with the doctor strange budget but Kevin Fiegey [sic] has caught on and pulled the funding. Can you send me 1500 in iTunes gift card codes so I can hire Tony [sic] Maguire thanks.”

While the scammer gets credit for knowing Raimi is directing the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, he probably should have researched how to spell the name of Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.

Oh, and it’s Tobey, not Tony Maguire who played Spidey for Raimi.

Bruce Campbell — who worked frequently with Raimi since 1981’s The Evil Dead and appeared in the director’s Spider-Man films — had a bit of fun with the scam. “Boy, that Sam,” Campbell tweeted with a picture of the phony DM. “Always hitting people up for money.”

Campbell added, “I will chip in, because I love Tony Maguire.”

Following last week’s announcement that the 94th Annual Academy Awards telecast will have a host for the first time since 2018, a number of names have been floated as hypothetical candidates and, recently, Amy Poehler was asked if she had any interest in accepting the gig.

Poehler, a four-time Golden Globes co-host along with her friend and fellow Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey, told Variety how she’d feel putting all that experience to use on the Oscars.

“Oh, I think that’s a different deal,” she said. “It’s an interesting time. So again, who knows what any of that stuff will…Everything feels like it’s truly in flux in every way.”

“I’m open to all things,” she continued. “I try to keep an open mind to all things.”

The 50-year-old Parks and Recreation vet and Making It star is currently directing the documentary Lucy and Desi, which explores the unlikely rise to fame and enduring legacy of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, whose groundbreaking sitcom I Love Lucy revolutionized the genre.

Poehler says the goal of the doc was to tell a love story.

“So much is made of their work and comedy, and it should be,” she says. “But I also think it is also an equal triumph to have a relationship that was the kind that they had. It is hard to maintain a working relationship, as well as a relationship with someone you love and is your partner in raising kids.”

Poehler has two children with ex-husband Will Arnett; the couple divorced in 2016, but amicably co-parent sons Archie Arnett, 13, and Abel Arnett, 11.

Lucy and Desi will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has chosen Jon Stewart as the recipient of its 23rd Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Hawkeye actor Fra Fee has landed a role in Disney+’s upcoming Beauty and the Beast prequel, according to Variety. Newcomer Briana Middleton will play Tilly, Louie’s stepsister. The new series Single Drunk Female makes its debut tonight on Freeform, telling the story of Samantha Fink, a late 20s alcoholic realizing things are spiraling out of control. 

Sofia Black-D’Elia plays Sam in the series and tells ABC Audio that the show is highly relatable, even if you’re not a late-20s alcoholic from Boston.

“We are all touched by addiction in some way or another,” she says. “We all sort of know somebody or are that person…So it’s sort of impossible to not relate to some part of this story.”

For Black D’Elia, the part of Sam’s journey that she relates to is “when you realize that you’ve spent most of your 20s thinking you know who you are, and you were wrong and you don’t really know anything and you kind of have to start over.”

The creator of Single Drunk Female, Simone Finch, also relates to the titular character and even admits, “I think she is me, but me when I was an alcoholic.”

“Just kidding, I’m still an alcoholic,” Finch jokes. “But when I came into AA at 28, is sort of Sam — they’re very similar, I would say.”

While alcoholism doesn’t necessarily sound like the premise for a comedy, executive producer Daisy Gardner would beg to differ.

“The darkest moments of my life are also the moments that I laugh the hardest,” she explains. “Like, when stuff goes so awry and is so terrible, just something ridiculous will happen. And that’s truly funny to me.”

After a Christmas Day sneak peek of the show’s return on March 6, Starz has dropped a new trailer for the sixth season of its time-skipping romantic drama Outlander. 

“I cannot be two things at once Claire,” Sam Heughan‘s Jamie tells his wife, played by Caitríona Balfe. “A rebel, a loyalist, an agent for the crown and an enemy of the king. Claire replies, “You can’t live your life afraid of being who you are.”

Based on author Diana Gabaldon‘s sixth book in her series, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, Starz teases the upcoming installment, “The last time we saw Claire and Jamie, Claire had just escaped a violent encounter with Lionel Brown and returned to Fraser’s Ridge….The sixth season of Outlander sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America.”

The trailer shows colonists going to arms, and establishing alliances with Native Americans, with the threat of the Redcoats closing in.

The network’s announcement continues, “Establishing a home in the New World is by no means an easy task, particularly in the wild backcountry of North Carolina — and perhaps most significantly — during a period of dramatic political upheaval. The Frasers strive to maintain peace and flourish within a society which — as Claire knows all too well — is unwittingly marching towards Revolution.”

The ninth book in Gabaldon’s Outlander series, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, debuted in November.

Oscar-winning Parasite director Bong Joon Ho has got Robert Pattinson in his tractor beam for a high-profile science fiction film for Warner Bros.

Deadline reports that Pattinson, who will be seen in March in The Batman, will star in an adaptation of an upcoming sci-fi novel called Mickey7, about, “a disposable employee sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim — who refuses to let his replacement clone, dubbed Mickey8, take his place.”

According to the book’s publisher, the Edward Ashton’s novel is described as, “The Martian meets Dark Matter. The title refers to an “expendable” clone who, “refuses to let his replacement clone Mickey8 take his place” on a mission to an ice planet.
