Netflix has released the official trailer to Colin Kaepernick‘s upcoming limited series, Colin in Black & White.

As previously reported, the six-episode drama follows Kaepernick’s journey to becoming a civil-rights activist and professional football player. Co-created and directed by Ava DuVernay, the series focuses on Kaepernick’s young-adult years growing up in a mixed-race household after being adopted by a white family. Colin in Black & White launches on Netflix on October 29.

A first-look trailer is now available. Head of the Class premieres Thursday, November 4, on HBO Max.

White House tells governors: Get ready to start vaccinating kids

(WASHINGTON) — In a private phone call Tuesday with the nation’s governors, the White House said states should prepare to begin vaccinating elementary-aged kids against COVID-19 in early November and that it would work with local health officials in the coming days to identify which sites will receive the first doses.

In audio obtained by ABC News, White House officials told the governors it had enough pediatric doses on hand for the 28 million children ages 5 through 11 expected to become eligible once federal regulators give the green light.

Once that happens, the pediatric Pfizer vaccine will be distributed in 100-dose packs. The doses, which are about a third of what is given to adults, will be sent to thousands of sites, including pediatricians, family doctors, hospitals, health clinics and pharmacies enrolled in a federal program that guarantees the shots are provided for free.

Some states are planning to provide the vaccine through schools as well.

“We’ve secured plenty of supply, and we’ll be putting in place an allocation, ordering and distribution system similar to what we’ve used for the other vaccines,” said President Joe Biden’s White House COVID coordinator, Jeff Zients, on the phone call to governors.

Zients said states should expect an initial rush for shots and ensure parents can easily schedule appointments.

“It’s important that all of us recognize that parents have been waiting for a pediatric vaccine for a long time so they will understandably be very eager to get their kids vaccinated or kids vaccinated right away,” he said.

Pfizer’s study on elementary-aged kids included 4,500 volunteers from the U.S., Finland, Poland and Spain. Precise details on the effectiveness of the vaccines in clinical trials involving kids has not been publicly released, although Pfizer says the study showed the smaller dosage was safe and effective.

Separate vaccine trials are under way for toddlers and preschoolers, with results expected by the end of the year. A Pfizer vaccine for kids under 5 is expected to become available in early 2022.

Both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention must agree the pediatric COVID vaccines are safe and effective before any shots are given to kids.

Key meetings with independent advisers to those agencies are scheduled for later this month and the first week of November.

In anticipation of the FDA and CDC authorizing the vaccine for kids, the federal government purchased 65 million pediatric two-shot doses from Pfizer. According to the Department of Health and Human Services, 70% of providers who administer vaccines to kids are enrolled to offer COVID shots.

Whether parents will embrace the vaccines for their kids is still a question and could depend upon details released in coming weeks on the clinical trial. In a September poll, the Kaiser Family Foundation found that about a third of parents with kids ages 5-11 were willing to vaccinate their kids right away, while another third wanted to “wait and see.” The figures represented a slight uptick in vaccine acceptance among parents of elementary-aged kids since July.

Overall, children are still considered significantly less likely than adults to experience bad outcomes from COVID-19. According to an estimate by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association, less than 2% of all child COVID-19 cases resulted in hospitalization.

Still, health officials warned that the sudden spike in COVID cases this summer and fall resulted in an alarming number of hospitalizations among kids. Since late August, the U.S. reported more than 1.1 million pediatric cases.

Attention all Blinks: While BLACKPINK appreciates the gifts their fans give them, they say they would rather the gifts go to a worthy cause.

Through their label YG Entertainment, the group announced Tuesday that they will “politely refuse” presents for anniversaries, holidays and any other occasions. Instead, they would like fans to show their support by donating to places in need.

Going forward, any items — with the exception of handwritten letters — sent to YG headquarters for the group will be discarded.

The COO of Metropolis Comics became the superhero that a celebrity needed, after he found Molly Shannon‘s cellphone.

On his TikTokVincent Zurzolo posted a selfie video in which he explained he was in a cab with his wife, headed from New York Comic Con on Sunday, when they heard a cellphone ringing in the back seat.

He explained a “very nervous” person was on the other end of the line, then Zurzolo panned to show the owner: Molly Shannon, in their home, doing her SNL character Mary Catherine Gallagher’s famous “Superstar” pose.

Shannon explained she’s normally “very reliable” with her cellphone, which she guessed must have spilled from her purse. She used the “Find My Phone” iPhone app to locate it but doubted she’d ever see it again.

The trio met in person to make the exchange. “I said, it’s very serendipitous that we all meet, so there must be a reason for it,” the actress admitted.

Showing some comic timing of his own, Zurzolo deadpanned, “I let her know we are swingers, and she is staying the night.”

“Yeah, it all worked out great,” Shannon added sexily, before closing with “Happy Sunday!” and gratefully hugging the couple.

The post has been liked more than 40 thousand times since the Zurzolos posted it Tuesday.

Adam Lambert‘s mini Las Vegas residency runs October 20 through October 30 at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and he says his performance will be well-suited for the spooky season.

“It’s a special set list put together for this time of year, Halloween being at the end of the month,” Adam tells E! Online. “I’m very excited. It should be fun.”

And while Adam isn’t going to take the stage dressed up like a ghost or goblin, he’ll still be paying homage to the holiday.

“I’m not doing costumes per se, I’m not dressing up in a Halloween costume, but I’m definitely giving you like, a dark, goth, creepy, spooky vibe,” he explains. “Like ‘modern witch-slash-True Blood,’ but no fangs. But who knows? I might get inspired by the last show. I don’t plan everything in advance.”

You won’t be able to see the last show unless you buy a ticket, but on October 29, Adam will be doing a livestream of his show for fans who can’t make it to Sin City.  Meanwhile, you can catch Adam in action Wednesday night when his new show Clash of the Cover Bands premieres on E!.  He’s one of the judges, along with Ester Dean and Meghan Trainor.

“It was so crazy because we filmed this show on the same exact stage and studio as American Idol,” the show’s season eight runner-up tells E! “So walking backstage into the studio every day was just so surreal…I enjoyed that full circle.”

Adam adds, “And it made me keep in mind that when you get up on stage and…you’re putting yourself out there to be commented on by three people at a desk in front of you, it’s not always the easiest thing.”

Nick Cannon and Eminem feuded for over a decade, and on Monday, The Masked Singer host thanked Fat Joe for helping to end their grudge when Joe appeared on Nick’s new self-titled TV talk show.

Eminem, who was briefly involved with Mariah Carey, fired numerous shots over the years at Nick, who was married to Carey from 2008 to 2014.

“Mariah, what ever happened to us?/ Why did we have to break up?” the 8 Mile star rapped on his 2009 track “Bagpipes from Baghdad.” “Nick, you had your fun, I’ve come to kick you in your sack of junk.” He continued to dis Nick all the way through 2020 on Joe’s “Lord Above” track.

“I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note,” Eminem rapped. “But that other dude’s whipped, that p***y got him neutered.”

Cannon retaliated with multiple diss tracks, including “The Invitation” and “Pray for Him.”

On his television show, Nick thanked the Terror Squad leader for being the peacemaker during an Instagram Live session. “This brother right here helped end the beef with me and Eminem on his show,” Cannon said. “And it wasn’t no ‘real beef,’ but Joe was like, ‘I gotta get you two brothers together.'”

Fat Joe said he called up Eminem and told him, “This gotta stop,” and the feud ended.
