(NOTE LANGUAGE) Kristin Davis has some choice words for trolls taking shots at her and her fellow …And Just Like That co-stars. Well, really just two: “F*** you.”
In an interview with U.K.’s The Sunday Times Style magazine, Davis unloaded on anonymous Internet denizens who have taken shots at the actresses since the HBO Max Sex and the City follow-up was announced.
“Everyone wants to comment, pro or nay or whatever, on our hair and our faces and our this and our that,” she said, referring to herself and co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon.
“The level of intensity of it was a shock,” admits the 56-year-old actress and producer who portrays Charlotte York Goldblatt. “I feel angry and I don’t want to feel angry all the time, so I don’t look at it, I just know it’s there.”
Davis continues, “That’s the problem with social media, right, is that you don’t know what those people are doing. You don’t know anything about them. They’re just hurling bombs at you. It makes me angry.”
She adds, “I’m going to be blunt. I feel like, ‘F*** you. F***you people,’ like, ‘Come over here and do it better.’ You know what I mean? Like, what are you doing?”
Davis comments come after Carrie Bradshaw herself, Sarah Jessica Parker, called out “misogynistic” coverage of the show’s lead threesome, telling Vogue, “[It] would never. Happen. About. A Man.”
The star, who’s also 56, said, “Everyone has something to say. ‘She has too many wrinkles, she doesn’t have enough wrinkles.'”
She added, “I know what I look like. I have no choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”
Looks like the holidays are still no match for Adele‘s powerhouse single “Easy on Me.” Although Christmas is officially less than two weeks away, people still can’t get enough of the heartbreak anthem.
“Easy on Me” fended off Mariah Carey‘s holiday banger “All I Want for Christmas Is You” from reaching the top of the BillboardHot 100 and now claims its seventh week at number one. The track was streamed over 20.7 million times and sold more than 9,200 copies over the past week, allowing it to beat out Mariah’s RIAA Diamond-certified smash.
While outpacing the popular Christmas song so close to the holidays is no easy feat, Adele has also broken several impressive records. She is now the only artist in history to have a single from three consecutive albums top the Hot 100 for seven or more weeks.
Aside from “Easy on Me” from her new record 30, “Hello” from her 25 album and 21‘s “Rolling in the Deep” topped the Hot 100 for multiple weeks.
In addition, Adele is the sixth artist in history to send three singles to the top of the Hot 100 for seven or more weeks — sharing the honor with Drake, Mariah, Rihanna, Beyoncé and Boyz II Men.
It is unknown if “Easy on Me” can continue its number-one streak next week. With the holidays fast approaching, Adele could be swept away by the tidal wave of Christmas songs that are quickly filling the chart.
While Mariah is in second place, in third is Brenda Lee‘s 1958 classic “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Burl Ives’ “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” Bobby Helms‘ “Jingle Bell Rock” and Andy Williams‘ “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” also have all climbed into the top 10.
With only a few more weeks until we wave goodbye to 2021, TikTok unveiled its list of the songs and artists that reigned supreme this past year.
In its annual music report for its U.S. users, the video service crowned Jason Derulo as its most-followed artist, while Lil Nas X racked up the most video views overall, as well as the most video duets. In addition, one of the videos he posted — which shows him discovering a sleeping Bella Poarch on his flight — is the most-viewed video by an artist: It racked up over 132 million views.
Meanwhile, Billie Eilish amassed the most new followers this year — more than 30 million to be exact.
When it comes to pop music, it appears TikTokers couldn’t get enough of Doja Cat and Olivia Rodrigo — with Doja’s SZA collab “Kiss Me More” crowned this year’s top pop song, while Olivia’s “drivers license” and “good 4 u” idle in second and third place, respectively. Doja’s “Woman” and “Need to Know” are also in the top 20, as are Olivia’s “deja vu” and “happier.”
TikTok also knows its users appreciate the older hits, and crowned “Bills, Bills, Bills” by Destiny’s Child and MKTO‘s “Classic” as the top two comeback tracks of the year. Britney Spears‘ “Gimme More,” Justin Timberlake‘s “SexyBack,” Lukas Grahams “Mama Said” and Mike Posner‘s “Please Don’t Go” also made it into the top 10.
As for the classic songs that soundtracked the most TikTok videos, Boney M.‘s “Rasputin” takes the top spot, while Billy Joel‘s “Zanzibar,” George Michael‘s “Careless Whisper,” En Vogue‘s “Whatta Man” and Bell Biv DeVoe‘s “Poison” also made a strong showing.
Billie Eilish has revealed that she had a breakthrough case of COVID-19 over the summer.
During an interview with The Howard Stern Show, as captured by the site Mediaite, the “Happier than Ever” singer shared her experience with the virus, which she called “miserable.”
“I didn’t die, and I wasn’t gonna die, but that does not take away from how miserable it was,” Eilish said. “I mean, it was terrible. I still have side effects. I was sick for, like, two months almost.”
Eilish came down with COVID in August, as the Delta variant was circulating through the U.S. She credits being vaccinated for helping her get through.
“I want it to be clear that it is because of the vaccine that I’m fine,” Eilish said. “I think if I weren’t vaccinated I would’ve, like, died.”
Eilish then added that, in the “scheme of COVID,” which has killed close to 800,000 people in the U.S., her experience was “not bad,” but she still “felt horrible.”
“When I say it’s ‘bad,’ it’s not, like, ‘Oh my god, I was gonna die of COVID and the vaccine doesn’t work,'” Eilish said. “The vaccine’s f***ing amazing, and it also saved [my brother] FINNEAS from getting it, it saved my parents from getting it, saved my friends from getting it.”
The subject of Eilish’s health had come up in the interview after Stern noticed that Eilish sounded sick after hosting and performing on last weekend’s Saturday Night Live. Eilish shared that she had just tested negative for COVID and just has a cold, which she says she might have gotten from SNL creator Lorne Michaels.
“Lorne was sick,” she said. “Coughing everywhere.”

After graduating Saturday from Texas Southern University, Megan Thee Stallion was presented with a very award from Congress on Sunday.
“The Hot Girl Summer” received the 18th Congressional District Humanitarian Award, as reported by ABC Houston affiliate KTRK.
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee presented the honor to the “Savage” rapper, who received a bachelor’s degree in health administration from TSU.
“This award has not been given out often, or to many,” Lee said. “That is why it remains a special part in our congressional district. The district has almost one million people. When this award is given, it has that special promise and special history.”
Lee added that the award is presented to those who have helped without asking. “We are nothing in this nation if we don’t help our fellow brothers and sisters,” she continued.
“I’m so honored,” 26-year-old Houston native Megan said in receiving the award. “It’s my responsibility to take care of the city that took care of me. My grandma always taught me to be kind and giving. I learned that from her.” Megan has said her late mother and grandmother inspired her to earn her bachelor’s degree.
“I was raised by very giving women,” Megan continued. “So I want to dedicate this award to my grandma because she taught me to be the woman I am today.”
Last month, Megan was honored as one of Glamour’s Women of the Year. She also won American Music Awards for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for her debut album, Good News, Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist, and Favorite Trending Song for her hit, “Body.” Plus, Megan’s nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Rap Performance for “Thot Sh**,” and Album of the Year for Lil Nas X‘s Montero, as a songwriter on “Dolla Sign Slime.”
Everyone has to start somewhere, even Halsey. The “Without Me” artist took a quick walk down memory lane to share the not-so-luxurious jobs they worked before becoming a world-renowned singer.
After one fan on Twitter asked if they ever had “to work like a ‘normal’ job before all of this?” Halsey responded, “Loads,” and left a laundry list of the jobs they previously held down, including, “Nanny, server, busses, hostess, delivery person, Baker, receptionist, I took license photos at the DMV.”
Halsey ended the tweet with a pained face emoji, giving fans a clue exactly how they feel about the experiences.
The “East Side” singer also revealed they were a benevolent picture taker at the DMV, saying they were “always the go to” if people wanted to retake a license photo they didn’t like.
Halsey also opened up about their future family plans. When a fan asked if they’d ever consider a home birth, the singer replied, “I would love to but I had cholestasis of pregnancy this time, so I always have to be safe! It would be my dream though.”
Mayo Clinic defines cholestasis as a liver condition that causes expecting mothers to itch without a rash. While uncomfortable, the more serious side effects could affect a developing child by causing lung problems, premature birth or even death.
Halsey welcomed their first child, a son named Ender, alongside partner Alev Aydin in July.
Loads lol. Nanny, server, busses, hostess, delivery person, Baker, receptionist, I took license photos at the DMV 😫 https://t.co/ZtDndWd1nH

As Carrie Underwood brought the first round of her Las Vegas residency to a close over the weekend, she had two special people in the audience — her sons Isaiah and Jacob.
Carrie commemorated the end of the first run of her Reflection residency at Resorts World Las Vegas with a gallery of photos that show her onstage. Among those enjoying the spectacle were her and husband Mike Fisher‘s sons, six-year-old Isaiah and two-year-old Jacob. The superstar singer shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of her eldest son standing up and cheering in excitement as his mom performs.
“So glad they got to see me at ‘work,'” Carrie captions the sweet moment with a heart eye emoji.
Mike also shared a snap of their two sons at the show, looking up over the railing from their big leather seats as the show’s title is projected onto the closed curtain onstage.
“Boys are ready!” Mike writes, alongside the pic.
The first leg of Reflection launched on December 1 and ended on December 11. Carrie will return to Las Vegas in 2022 for the residency with dates in March, April and May.
It took Adele‘s 30 just two weeks to become the top-selling album of 2021 and it continues to leave its competition in the dust.
The album has notched its third straight week atop the Billboard200 chart, moving an additional 193,000 units in its third week of release. That’s something no other album has done in over three years, since Drake‘s Scorpion, which he released in 2018.
Some 149,000 units of that 193,000 were album sales, while the remaining units were SEA, or streaming equivalent albums, comprised of 57.87 million streams, vastly outpacing all other studio offerings on this week’s roundup.
Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) hangs on in second place after moving just 80,000 units while Olivia Rodrigo‘s SOUR is this week’s fifth-best-selling album.
