Rihanna to launch ‘Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4’ on November 9

The fourth volume of Rihanna‘s hotly anticipated Savage X Fenty runway show arrives next month.

The Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4 will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on November 9 and be broadcast across 240 countries. Rihanna made the surprise reveal on Friday and teased some of the looks that’ll hit the runway.

This year’s event promises to break more boundaries and challenge tradition. “The trailblazing event is raising the bar yet again with a new all-star lineup of models, actors, some of the biggest names in music, and more, debuting the latest Savage X Fenty styles,” the official press release divulges.

This year’s event is being billed as a “seductive fashion fever dream” that will blend “Emmy award-winning choreography, style, and music with the hypnotic essence of nocturnal nature.” If that wasn’t enough to tantalize you, the release teases further, “Featuring a star-studded cast all wearing the newest Savage X Fenty looks, the show is an un-missable visual feast.”

Rihanna will serve as the show’s executive producer and creative director.

As for what this year’s collection will bring, the release states, “An homage to self-expression and personal empowerment, Rihanna’s latest collection features disparate textures, unexpected detailing, and unconventional proportions that come together seamlessly to create a boundary-bending experience for everyBODY.”

Savage X Fenty was launched in 2018 and has made waves in the fashion industry by continually pushing for inclusivity, diversity and authenticity. Once the show finishes airing on November 9, the collection will be available on the Amazon Fashion store, as well as the Savage X Fenty website.

It should be noted the Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 3 won the 2022 Emmy for Outstanding Choreography For Variety Or Reality Programming.

—2 Chainz, “2 Step” — The rapper has released a new original song from the soundtrack of the upcoming House Party remake. The film, starring Tosin Cole and Jacob Latimore, comes out January 13.

Juice WRLD, “Bye Bye” — The producer/DJ says in a statement that he made the song the night he met the late rapper. “I was already such a big fan of his and being able to work with him and make music with him was an absolute honor. Carly Pearce is all about supporting Kelsea Ballerini through divorce: “I’m there for her”

When Carly Pearce ended her marriage to Michael Ray in 2020, she was vocal about the great support and advice she got from her friend and fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini.

Now, it’s Kelsea who’s going through a divorce: Late this summer, the singer announced that she and her husband of nearly five years, Morgan Evans, are calling it quits.

Fortunately, she’s got friends in her corner to help her through the experience. On the carpet of the CMT Artists of the Year ceremony, Carly told ET Online that she’s ready to be Kelsea’s support system throughout the divorce process.

“Kelsea was there through mine,” the singer and Artists of the Year honoree said. “I’m there for her through hers.”

For one thing, Carly’s supporting Kelsea by lending her voice to her friend’s new album, Subject to Change. One song, called “You’re Drunk, Go Home,” is a collaboration between Kelsea, Carly and Kelly Clarkson — the latter of whom, incidentally, also recently went through a divorce.

“We have real-life conversations,” Kelsea told ET Online at the CMT Artists of the Year ceremony. “So it’s really nice to have people that are my peers and heroes that I can go to for, like, music advice and also life advice.”

Carrie Underwood’s Denim & Rhinestones Tour bus includes a mobile gym

Carrie Underwood is known for her love of fitness — and her sculpted legs — so it’s no surprise she’s not going to slouch on her workouts just because she’s on tour.

In fact, as she hits the road for her Denim & Rhinestones Tour this fall, the singer is traveling with a mobile gym, complete with weights, a treadmill and an elliptical machine.

Carrie recently gave fans a tour of the gym during an interview with TODAY, in which she described the space as her “she-shed.”

But Carrie’s gym isn’t just for her mental and physical well-being — every time she goes on tour, she works hard to make sure it’s the most dazzling show she’s put on yet. This time around, she’s adding some pyrotechnics and aerial work to the lineup, and she needs a lot of stamina to keep up with all the fun surprises she’s got planned.

A lot of work goes into each tour, which is also why Carrie often “takes space” between headlining strings, she says.

“I want everything to feel very special and very thoughtful in how we execute everything,” she explains.

The Denim & Rhinestones Tour launched Saturday with a show in Greenville, South Carolina.

Christina Aguilera to rerelease ‘Stripped’ to mark album’s 20th anniversary

Christina Aguilera is rolling out the red carpet for her fourth studio album, Stripped, which celebrates its 20th anniversary next week.

Not only is the powerhouse singer releasing a new version of her standout music video for “Beautiful,” she’s also rereleasing the landmark album and filling it up with goodies.

Coming October 21, Christina will reissue Stripped, which comes with new cover art and bonus tracks. One bonus track is the Benny Benassi remix of “Beautiful.” Another will be from the “Dirrty” B-side, a song called “I Will Be.”

The album will come in all formats, from digital to vinyl, including the immersive formats 360RA and Dolby Atmos. The deluxe version of the digital formats can be presaved now on Christina’s official website.

In addition, Vinyl Me, Please will come out with an alternate 20th anniversary edition of Stripped on March 3. The 2LP offering will come on a 12-inch vinyl that’s packaged in a gatefold jacket exclusive to the release.

Ahead of the album’s release, Christina will reissue a new take of her “Beautiful” music video on October 19. The updated music video takes a hard look at the impossible beauty standards perpetuated by social media and how that damages self-esteem. According to a press release, the video “takes an artistic and symbolic approach to the delicate and complex questions surrounding contemporary perceptions of beauty.”

Stripped was released on October 22, 2002. It has been RIAA-certified quadruple Platinum and has sold over 10 million copies globally.

‘SNL’ vet Rob Schneider: Bill Murray “hated us” when he returned to guest host

Another day, another negative headline about Bill Murray.

Just days after Geena Davis detailed what she described as harassing behavior on the set of their 1990 comedy Quick Change, Saturday Night Live vet Rob Schneider is sounding off.

Rob, who starred on the sketch show from 1990 to 1994, described to SiriusXM’s The Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show on Wednesday a tense guest-hosting stint Murray had during Schneider’s run.

Quoting an unnamed colleague, Schneider said, “‘Bill Murray is gonna come, he’s gonna change the dialogue. He’s gonna change things, and it’s gonna be great, but you don’t know who you’re gonna get. Which Bill Murray you’re gonna get. The nice Bill Murray? Or you’re gonna get the tough Bill Murray?'”

Acknowledging Murray is “super nice to fans,” Schneider said, “He hated us on Saturday Night Live when he hosted. Absolutely hated us. I mean, seething. He hated Chris Farley with a passion. Like he was just seething looking at him.”

Schneider couldn’t be sure why Farley was such a target for Murray’s ire, but speculated it could have been because Farley emulated one of his hardworking and hard-partying idols, John Belushi, who Murray worked alongside on SNL. “I want to believe that it’s because Chris thought it was cool to be Belushi, who [was Murray’s] friend who he saw die, that he thought it was cool to be that out of control.”

Belushi died of an overdose in 1982 at 33. Farley also died of a drug overdose at 33, in 1997.

Murray “really hated [Adam] Sandler, too,” Schneider said, referring to one of the biggest stars of his SNL run. “[A]s soon as he would get on, you could see the audience just ate him up,” Schneider said of his friend and Grown Ups co-star.

Sam Smith and Kim Petras have teamed up with Disclosure — yes, the same duo behind Sam’s breakthrough single “Latch” — for an “Unholy” remix. The EDM duo gives the hit song a high octane Eurobeat transformation.

Marshmello released “Bye Bye,” which features vocals from late rapper Juice WRLD. “I made this song the first night that I met Juice. I was already such a big fan of his and being able to work with him and make music with him was an absolute honor. With this song, I intended to keep it exactly the way we made it that night,” Marshmello said in a statement.

Louis Tomlinson dropped “Out Of My System,” which is described as the “most adventurous” song off his forthcoming album, Faith in the Future, which arrives November 11. Louis also unveiled a massive European tour kicking off next year.

Leah Kate is out with the ballad “Hot All the Time.” She also released its music video. The song is about rediscovering her confidence and beauty after ending a relationship.

We’re a few weeks away from Halloween, but the Backstreet Boys have unleashed their first holiday album, A Very Backstreet Christmas. The 15-track album sees the band singing favorite holiday classics, such as “Last Christmas” and “O Holy Night.” Those who buy the album at Target will be able to listen to two bonus tracks: “Feliz Navidad” and “It’s Christmas Time Again.”

girl in red has premiered a new single called “October Passed Me By.”

The track was recorded with The National guitarist and Taylor Swift collaborator Aaron Dessner. It’s a sequel to girl in red’s 2018 song “We Fell in Love in October,” which has been certified Platinum by the RIAA and spawned a TikTok trend.

“‘October Passed Me By’ is where I’m at today, emotionally and musically,” girl in red says. “Grateful for what has been, and full of love for a very special person that made a huge impact on me as a person.”

“October Passed Me By” follows girl in red’s 2021 debut album, If I Could Make It Go Quiet, which includes the singles “Serotonin” and “I’ll Call You Mine.”

Neil Young releasing 50th anniversary ‘Harvest’ box set in December

This year marked the 50th anniversary of the release of Neil Young‘s landmark solo album, Harvest, and to commemorate the milestone, the folk-rock legend will release an expanded edition of the record on December 2.

The Harvest 50th Anniversary Edition box set, which can be preordered now, will be available in two physical versions offering the same content — a three-CD/two-DVD set and a collection featuring two vinyl LPs, a vinyl seven-inch disc and two DVDs.

The CD and vinyl box sets’ respective audio content includes the original Harvest album on one CD or LP, a recording of Young performing a solo acoustic set at the BBC in 1971 on a second CD or LP and three Harvest sessions outtakes on a third CD or the seven-inch vinyl disc.

The two DVDs feature a video of Young’s 1971 BBC performance and a previously unseen two-hour documentary filmed in 1971 that focuses on the making of Harvest. The box sets also include a hardbound book and fold-out poster, while the vinyl version comes with a lithograph print, as well.

Young’s rendition of his chart-topping Harvest hit “Heart of Gold” from the BBC performance has been released as an advance track from the box set and is available now via digital formats. A video of the performance has debuted on Young’s official YouTube channel.

A digital version of the Harvest 50th Anniversary Edition will also be released.

Released in February 1972, Harvest is Neil’s only solo album to top the Billboard 200. It features the aforementioned “Heart of Gold,” Neil’s only single to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Old Man,” which peaked at #31.

Red Hot Chili Peppers shout out “The Drummer” with new Return of the Dream Canteen video

Red Hot Chili Peppers have premiered the video for “The Drummer,” a track off the band’s new album, Return of the Dream Canteen.

The clip finds the “Californication” outfit performing in a club of well-choreographed dancers. The song itself doesn’t identify the titular “Drummer,” only that they are “Leaning without any meaning/ Outside of the Club Troubadour,” which refers to the famed venue in — you guessed it — California.

Return of the Dream Canteen, which also features the single “Tippa My Tongue” and the Eddie Van Halen tribute “Eddie,” is out now. It’s the second Chili Peppers album of 2022, following April’s Unlimited Love.
