Barns Courtney has premiered a new single called “Golden.”
A press release describes the track as “[Ennio] Morricone meets Royal Blood.” To find out exactly what that sounds like, you can listen to “Golden” now via digital outlets.
“Golden” follows the single “Supernatural,” which dropped last September. Both tracks will appear on the upcoming third Barns Courtney album, the title and release date for which have yet to be announced.
“It’s a mashup of all my favorite obsessions,” the “Fire” artist says of the record. “One big art project from the story to the visuals. A little [David] Bowie, a little Rocky Horror, some 90s anime underpinned by a cult leader narrative.”
Barns Courtney’s most recent album is 2019’s 404.
