Jewel’s new EP is also an immersive art experience

Jewel‘s new EP will double as the soundtrack to The Portal: An Art Experience, her new immersive art exhibit in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The exhibit features songs and soundscapes that will be collected on the EP, called The Portal: A Meditative Journey, which is coming out July 12. The EP also includes guided meditations that “inspire reflection and release,” according to a press release.

The title track, “The Portal,” runs over 10 minutes, and combines music and Jewel’s narration. “The Portal” is what plays during the part of the immersive experience that consists of a 200-piece choreographed drone show. There’s also an art walk, a painting and sculpture by Jewel, and even food to complete to experience.

The Portal is open to the public through July 28 at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.
