Offset played the role of a prince when he attended the LA premiere of The Little Mermaid on Monday. He escorted his dates, daughters Kulture and Kalea, whose dresses complemented his black-and-white ensemble.
“Mermaid premiere with my princesses,” he wrote on Instagram alongside snaps from a photo shoot. While on a red carpet, he expressed the importance of bringing his daughters to see the film.
“First off, my daughters are very excited to see someone that looks like them as [Ariel],” he told HSN. “It’s a special moment in history and it’s iconic and it’s a sister vibe so let’s get it!”
Kelly Rowland, Tia Mowry, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Marsai Martin, Kyla Pratt and Trevor Jackson also attended the premiere, as did Chlöe, star Halle Bailey‘s sister.
“To know that all of those beautiful girls will be able to see proper representation, whether you’re Black or white or anything like that, you’ll be able to look at my sister and say, ‘I can be anything I want to be no matter what the world tells me is acceptable,'” Chlöe told ET. “There could not be a more perfect Ariel.”
The Little Mermaid premieres in theaters on May 26.
