grandson has premiered a new single called “Eulogy.”

“‘Eulogy’ was written in the aftermath of a bad mushrooms trip this summer, which led me to scrapping my album and admitting to myself and others that I was struggling with fantasies of self harm,” the “Blood//Water” artist says. “It’s easy to feel nihilistic or cynical about the future, and there’s a strange comfort in indulging in the depressing absurdity of day to day life with the only people in the world that understand you.”

You can listen to “Eulogy” now via digital outlets.

“Eulogy” is the first new grandson tune since 2021, which saw the release of singles including “Drop Dead” featuring Travis Barker and Kesha and the Jessie Reyez collaboration “Rain” for The Suicide Squad soundtrack. grandson’s most recent album is his 2020 full-length debut, Death of an Optimist.

Along with the new tune, grandson has announced a U.S. headlining tour, running from May 12 in San Diego to July 11 in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. K.Flay will also be on the bill for select dates.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 3, at 10 a.m. local time. For the full list of dates and all ticket info, visit grandsonmusic.com.
