Bring Me the Horizon is bringing in some My Chemical Romance influence.

In a new video recapping their recent U.S. tour, the U.K. rockers shared a brief preview of some new material. During one particular snippet, frontman Oli Sykes comments that the tune sounds “My Chem-y.”

“Let’s do it the Gerard Way,” he punnily adds.

Perhaps Sykes and company were inspired to follow the “Gerard Way” after playing with MCR at the When We Were Young festival.

Bring Me the Horizon has been working on new music to follow the band’s 2020 EP Post Human: Survival Horror. Since then, they’ve released two one-off singles, “sTraNgeRs” and “DiE4u.”
