New music dropped from Ty Dolla $ign and Mustard on Wednesday.
The duo tapped Lil Durk for the new single “My Friends,” off their upcoming joint album, which doesn’t yet have an official release date or title.
“My Friends” marks yet another hot collab from the West Coast hip-hop stars; they’ve linked up many times in the past on hit songs like “Lil Baby” and “Or Nah” featuring The Weeknd and Wiz Khalifa.
Speaking on the long-running relationship with one another Ty Dolla $ign said, “Every time my brother Mustard and I link up, we make history; ‘Paranoid,’ ‘Or Nah’ and now ‘My Friends.’ What’s success and fortune if you ain’t getting it with your day ones? Big shout out to Durk for being a part of this song.”
“We’ve been doing this for more than a decade now and it’s always special when me and Ty link,” Mustard added.
Ty Dolla $ign released his third studio album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, in 2020, and it went on to peak at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Mustard’s most recent full-length project, Perfect 10, dropped in 2019. That same year, he won DJ of the Year at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
“My Friends” is available for streaming on digital platforms.
