Meek Mill wants to perform at a wedding in October for free.
The “Going Bad” rapper is offering his wedding singer services to mark the 10th anniversary of his debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, which dropped on October 30, 2012.
“If you get married in October … ima commit to performing dreams & nightmares at a wedding for free for the 10 year Anniversary,” Mill tweeted on Tuesday.
He received numerous replies, including a fan from the MidWest who laughed about the prospect of the Philly rapper traveling across the country for his wedding.
“October 29th, middle of no where in Iowa! Come through! Hahahahahaha,” the follower wrote.
Another fan closer to Meek’s hometown hopes Mill will be the wedding entertainment for his best friend.
“My boy is getting married October 29th,” the person tweeted. “Last song at the wedding was already gonna be dreams and nightmares so you may as well come perform it live. North Jersey. Groom and all the groomsmen all from Philly.”
The 35-year-old MC added that this was “not a marketing plan” but instead a “random thought.”
Dreams and Nightmares debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and was verified Gold. The first single, “Amen,” featured Drake. The star-studded album also included collabs with Nas, Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Big Sean.
