In This Moment has shared the details of the band’s upcoming Blood 1983 EP.
The five-track collection includes rerecorded, reimagined versions of songs off In This Moment’s 2012 album Blood in honor of its 10th anniversary.
“Blood changed our lives and shifted our career in a way we will never forget,” says frontwoman Maria Brink. “We created this reimagined version because we wanted to give our beautiful fans something to be excited about.”
Blood, the fourth In This Moment album, gave Brink and company their highest-charting record at the time and remains the band’s only RIAA Gold-certified album. Its singles “Whore,” “Adrenalize” and “Blood” became the first In This Moment songs to chart on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, where the group has since become a staple.
You can listen to the Blood 1983 version of “Whore” now via digital outlets. The whole EP will be released on October 21.
In This Moment is currently on tour celebrating Blood‘s 10th anniversary. Nothing More is also on the bill.
