Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Måneskin and Imagine Dragons are among the nominees for Group of the Year at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.

The prize is among the just-announced VMA “social categories,” which will be chosen through MTV’s Instagram Story. Bracket-style voting is set to begin Monday, August 22, at 11 a.m. ET.

The other Group of the Year nominees are K-pop bands BLACKPINK and BTS, hip-hop duo City Girls, and Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak‘s Silk Sonic.

The social categories also include Song of the Summer and Album of the Year, which includes Billie Eilish‘s Happier Than Ever as a nominee.

As previously reported, Red Hot Chili Peppers will be honored at this year’s VMAs with the Global Icon Award, which was given to Foo Fighters in 2021. RHCP will also perform at the ceremony, as will Måneskin and Panic! at the Disco.

The 2022 MTV VMAs will take place next Sunday, August 28.
